Realistic or Modern We, the Living of Eastwood High | Out of Character

You need cardio to survive.

I’d say Naomi had pretty good stamina and strength from her odd jobs, but not on an athletic level lol

No matter how athletic Fitz is, she's still fairly short and lithe. I'm not sure if her stamina buff makes up for her strength debuff.

[div class=headerleft]Kason Roberts[/div]
[div class=tri]
[/div]
“It's not what it looks like...”
[/div]
[div class=headermain]Appearance

Street rat. Delinquent. White trash. Your first impression of Kason would probably be one of those. The boy is of average height (5'8") and lean build. Spending more time on the streets than in his own home or school, he's usually spotted wearing the same gray hoodie, a pair of filth-stained denim jeans, and some ratty old sneakers. Mostly indifferent toward the whole school experience, Kason tries to keep his head down until he can escape the campus and get on with street business. His classmates undoubtedly view him as some loser to be pitied or else bullied, but most won't touch him with a nine-foot pole for fear of catching his outcast status. If you were to bump into him in the hall, he'd probably walk on without a word. Or he might become suddenly hostile and shove you back. Or he might just give you a bewildered look before frantically scurrying away. His drug habits can be blamed for his highly unpredictable behavior; of course, this lack of predictability just makes it more appropriate that Kason be rejected by his peers.

[div class=headermain]Characterization[/div]
With a prostitute for a mother and an entirely absent father, Kason was born an outcast. His mother is neglectful, saving most of her affection for the men that pay well and spending the rest of her time completely drugged up. To make matters worse, Kason's home is always bustling with unsavory men. Trevor, the pimp, practically lives with them, and he's always got his goons nearby. Of course, a lot of drugs and cash pass through the boy's home, so Kason (being the little delinquent that he is) has received many a beating from the men of the house when he's tried to make off with something that he didn't earn. In his own home, this boy has faced death threats, brutal attacks, and haunting humiliations. Thus, Kason prefers to spend his time on the streets, selling "product" so he can use it too, because nothing in this life is worth more than that next great high.

There's more to Kason than his drug addiction, delinquency, and family problems though. He really is a child at heart, dreaming of worldly travels far outside of his financial reach. He takes great pleasure in the little things that life has to offer: tasty treats, a starry night sky, the light-hearted laughter of children at play, a fluffy puppy, the smell of coffee. Few people get to see this soft, dreamy side of Kason, however, as he always has to put up a tough front for the sake of business and keeping what's his. On the streets, maintaining your image is about more than popularity; it can mean life or death. Plus, people can't be trusted, not in the cold world that Kason knows. Should any sappy feelings start to seep out, Kason will likely turn to aggression to conceal his vulnerability and re-assert his toughness. The boy will never back down from a fight, fair or not. Likewise, any test of his manhood is to be taken seriously (a dare is a dare, bro). Finally, it might be evident that Kason has zero respect for the school hierarchy. That cheerleader is no more worthy of his admiration than that shunned goth in the corner. Those rich "popular" kids are just some self-righteous, spoiled brats that haven't even experienced the real, harsh world yet. And when it comes down to it, everyone is just in it for themselves.

I don't mind someone struggling with a drug addiction. I knew people that'd hit up a joint in HS or at parties that I was at, and people joke that my hometown is a meth town considering how many meth labs the police find.

That aside, a pimp in midwest suburbia? What exactly would Trevor want with a town of, say, at most 30K people instead of focusing his operations in some big city? Just curious.

I think this is the edgiest sheet I've seen in a half-decade.
