Rules:
- Please be 16 y/o at least, as I'm over 18 and is not comfortable roleplaying with someone younger than 16
- I prefer to use realistic faceclaim so i would suggest following suit. just so that there won't be any confusion here.
- Literacy, one paragraph at the least, but you may write more than that ofc.
-Try to be active, at least one post per week
- I will not double but I will play other characters as side characters
- Everything will be strictly about the siblings so i won't double for pairing. However, you may make one yourself for your character.
Setting : BC era
culture : a mix of Egyptian and Greek
Plot :
There were 4 clans that were each placed on one side of the compass. The South were known for their brave swordsman and swordswoman while The East were known for their advancement in technology where most scientists live. As for The West were known for their shamans and healers who tend to go to North in order to serve as the royal priests and priestess. As for The North, it is known to be the heart of the people, where many serve under the current Kingdom ruled by a man who has went through the trial that every pure blood has to go through in order to receive a gift from the God of sun, Ra.
The Ruler was always know to be a wise man but in the eyes of those who served under him knew of his strict and cold side. To his children, he was known to push them to their limits, always expecting for them to do better. And if they fail to meet his expectations, it is easy for him to lift his hand and force them to push their limits even if they were hurting. His wife, tried so many times to prevent this behavior but he wasn't afraid of her and she wasn't a pure blood so he couldn't care less what she thought of him. In his bloodline, he was the only ruler that had taken this stance towards his own family. His ancestors had always be a gentle soul and never treated anyone unfair.
Every man and woman from every clan had bowed before the Ruler's power. But as time continued and the Ruler's family grew in size. It would only be sensible for someone else to take his place. His eldest son who was first chosen to be an heir to the throne managed to go through the trial but his gift was viewed as a curse as his ancestors who received the same gifts as him turned into a mindless being that continued to speak about the end, causing mass panic among the people. As the eldest son's mind remain intact, the Ruler continued to push him through every ritual in hopes to remove the curse. But as every attempt of removing his curse failed, The Ruler decided to hold his own son as a prisoner, continuing to put him through countless rituals and even punished the young man if he were to fight back against his wishes.
As the Eldest son had been branded as a curse, The Ruler decided to choose the youngest (can be a son or a daughter) to be his heir. The youngest had been separated from their brother ever since they were 7. But as their 17th birthday approaches, The eldest son grew worried about the trial and decided to sneak out of his cell with the help of the servants, in order to have a last chat on their 17th birthday before they are sent to the altar for their trial in hopes that they both could run away and take shelter somewhere far from the kingdom and live a normal life.
But even if they did, he knew that it would only be time before they began to discover their power that may or may not lead to destruction. Without the trial, it will be hard for a pure blood to master their power. A few that either failed or didn't do the trial ended up with a power that consumed them until they became an empty husk.
I'm looking for someone to play as the youngest son/daughter as I will be playing as The Eldest son.
