We Need to Fix This

Jake could feel tears lining up in his eyes, but, he really didn't want to cry of this. He shook his head at her, at her words she said, about everyone avoiding her. ''Don't ever cut yourself, not even for the greatest person in this world. You prove you're weak, and you aren't weak.''

Nanami sighed, letting out a sigh as a few tears slipped from her eyes. "I know." She said, before pressing her palms into her eyes, letting out a sigh. "I shouldn't have chickened out, I should have accepted your hug." She mumbled to herself, leaning back as she looked at him, her eyes red and puffy from the tears.

Aleks didn't know what to say. At all. He was still nervous. This moment would be the one where they would get together. Not as a couple, but as partners, or a couple, who knew, he couldn't make his mind. ''I really don't know what to say. You've ignored me and hated me for such a long time I don't know what I feel for you anymore, but, we need to fix this.''

Nanami nodded, padding her eyes. "We do need to fix this." She said to him, sighing. "I was being mean because I thought you hated me, and in my mind, I didn't want anyone who hated me to have something over me." She said to him, her tails lying on the floor as she sniffled again, closing her eyes and taking in breaths.

Jake tilted his head in confusion ''Hated you? Since the moment we met I tried to be your friend, but I ended up with a broken nose, then I tried to get closer to you, and you denied me, but, I never hated you, not one bit.''

Nanami closed her eyes, one of her tails flicking softly. "Well that's good to know, but you left me confused after the last incident we had." She said to him, sighing softly. "I would gladly accept that hug now, but I am guessing that now you hate me enough to deny me that." She said to him, chuckling sadly.

Aleks felt his heart go trough his troath when she said she was confused. Confused how? but, the last words she said, spoke more than all she had said. He rapidly, without thinking, got up and hugged her, as tight as he could, letting out a very low sob on her shoulder.

Nanami was very surprised as he had darted forwards to hug her, and she blinked for a few seconds. It took a while before she willingly wrapped her arms around him, and took a few more seconds before wrapping her tails around him too, pulling him in closer. "Looks like we are both a little weak." She spoke softly, pressing her nose into his shoulder.

Nanami was right, they were both weak, in some sense or another. He simply couldn't let go of her, he felt too... wrapped around. It was like someone had came and wrapped a rope around him and her. She was going to pull back sooner or later, so he just wanted to enjoy the moment.

Nanami let out a content sigh as she took in a big breath. She had missed his warmth, his kindness, his inner fire. She could feel it from here, and it was comforting to her damaged soul. She pressed her nose into his shoulder as she closed her eyes, loosening her grip a little bit on his waist with her tails, just incase he wanted to escape.

He felt her tails loosen their force a bit. He sighed very softly, as he knew she wanted to let go already. ''Do you want me to let go?'' he asked, softly. He was very calm, happy and sad at the same time. It was a new emotion he felt.

Nanami shook her head. "I don't want to." She said softly. "I just didn't want to feel like I was trapping you in, if you wanted me to let go." She mumbled into his shoulder, pressing her nose into his skin and inhaling his scent. He smelled like cinnamon, with a touch of ash in there somewhere, but it smelled like a warm fire with marshmallows toasting over it, or burning wood.

(( Hey, I'll go out to a party. I might be able to post rarely but if I have the chance I'll do so. :c ))

He hugged her tighter, telling her with body language he simply didn't want to let go. He was dropping a river of tears, but he really didn't wanted to cry out loud. He hated to do so, and Jake didn't do so. He simply hugged her with all his strength and cried on her shoulder.

Nanami could feel something moist on her shoulder, and she let out a sigh, her tails curling tightly around him as she pulled him in closer, placing one of her hands on the back of his head as she pressed his face into her shoulder. And here she thought they would end up hating each other, or end in a violent fight.

((Ah, alright))

He felt his tails move, each time she breathed. Jake was always fascinated by how cats moved their tail, swirling it around, like it had its own mind, and it looked like Nami's tails also had the same thing. He took a light sigh as he kept hugging her.

((I have to go to sleep, good night!))

Nana I chuckled a bit, keeping herself enclosed in his embrace. "You know, seems I wasn't the only one who suffered." She mumbled soflty, the end o find of her tails curling up to flick his cheek lightly. "But I should have just accepted the hug in the first place." She said softly, humming softly and pressing her nose into his shoulder.

(Me too, night!)

(Just waking up, posting in a few minutes ^^ )

Aleks sighed as he remembered the memories. When they held hands, at the fireplace. But, then, the other two guys, they just ruined it all. If they would've left the wound heal by itself nothing like this would've happened. They ruined it all. ''I missed you, Nami.''

Nanami sighed, pressing herself even closer to Jake. She sucked in a breath, trying to keep from letting more tears escape, but she couldn't. She let out a soft sob, pressing closer to the skin on his neck. "I missed you too." She mumbled, holding him close as she wept softly, feeling a lot more comfortable now that she could feel his heart beating against hers.

Aleks blew some air out of his mouth, making her hair sway a bit. If someone actually entered in this moment he would feel very awkward, but still wouldn't let go of her. Thank god that annoying door kid left, or else, this would be much worse.

Nanami giggled a little bit as he blew on her hair, holding him tight to her body. "I missed this." She mumbled, pressing her nose into his skin. "I missed you." She said, her tears slowly drying up.

Aleks smiled a bit, when he heard her giggle. ''I also missed you. So, what now? Will we stay as friends? Or just partners of this giant and stupid school.'' he asked, recovering from his crying voice.

Nanami sighed. "I don't know really." She mumbled to him, sniffling a little bit as she looked at him. "I am not really sure what we are yet." She said, wiping her eyes.

She was right, they still weren't sure on what they would be. Couple or friends, or even partners, it was still confusing at this moment. They had just said their sorry, and their stuck here. ''I don't know either.''

Nanami sighed. "Well I don't know about what others would think, or if we can still get along." She said weakly. "Why don't for now we say partners, until we are ready to make a desicion."

Jake shrugged at her awnser. Yeah, they were getting along, but there was still a lot more to heal that what could be with a hug. It was so calm, and lovely, but, still wasn't enough. ''Partners.''
