Realistic or Modern We Go In Quiet

king5ter

Bittersweet Psychopath
We do this now or we don't do it.

Five fresh-faced thieves are stumbling their way through the world of crime, planning heist after heist and earning more and more money. They form elaborate plans, plans that can take days to carry out. And they work. Most of the time.

But they're getting full of themselves. Things are getting out of hand. The jobs are getting too big, and they can't control everything.

One day they're going to fall, and it ain't going to be pretty.

So this is how things will work. For the first heist I will detail the scenario, using the template below. Everyone, including me, will come up with a plan to pull off the heist. DO NOT LIKE THESE PLANS YET! Once everyone has posted their plan, you must like the one you think is the best other than yours. Whichever plan has the most votes is the one we carry out, and the person whose plan it is comes up with the next heist. Simple!

There are quite a few things you might not understand, so this post will serve as a guide to you. If you ever get confused, refer back here before asking me anything.

First, the approach. There are five different approaches you can take.

Assault - The most simple approach, and the easiest to carry out. We go in guns-blazing and kill anyone who gets in the way. This will lead to shootouts with the police and, in the case of bigger places, SWAT teams.

Ghost - This approach requires complicated planning and is harder to pull off, but when done properly can mean a heist goes off without anyone ever knowing we're there. Ghost is basically doing a heist quietly without ever being detected. People are killed silently, hacking is used and people do everything without ever being discovered.

Destructive - In this approach, we go batshit crazy and destroy everything, usually by blowing it up. This approach is what it'd be like if this was a Michael Bay movie. Quick and simple when executed right, yet draws the most attention and can lead to fierce shootouts.

Distraction - We split into two groups. One causes a distraction while the other goes in quietly, pulling off the heist while everyone's attention is elsewhere. This is like an easier version of Ghost, yet the team causing the distraction will have to take a lot of heat.

And my favorite one, Ultimate - This is for the ultra-complicated plans that take place over multiple days, and are done fully stealthily. Complicated planning is required, the heist will be split into stages, and when everyone has to perform flawlessly for it to work. However, when it does, it is spectacular.

Next heat levels. There are four different heat levels.

Heat Level 1 - Security guards and a few policemen.

Heat Level 2- A much stronger security presence and a fully-fledged police force.

Heat Level 3- All of the above plus SWAT teams and special enemies such as snipers, heavies etc.

Heat Level 4- This is an extreme heat level only used in rare cases. Helicopters, tanks, military, an entire army of enemies.

Now we move onto enemy types. There are quite a few different enemy types, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Level 1 Security Guards - Simple guards normally only carrying pistols.

Level 2 Security Guards - Smarter guards with better gear, such as assault rifles and tasers.

Police - Policemen carrying pistols and sometimes shotguns. Will head straight for the team and try to kill them instantly.

SWAT - Like policemen, but with much more armor and carrying shotguns and assault rifles. Will be smart and try to flank and trick the team.

Military - Trained soldiers adept in all types of combat. Extremely intelligent and armed to the teeth with all types of weapons.

Special enemies:

Snipers - Will stay at a distance and try to take the team out.

Heavies - Armed with heavy machine guns and extreme armor. Will get close to the team and take them out.

Acrobats - Agile combatant skilled in melee combat. Use knives and swords, and will get as close as possible.

Disguisers - Will act as civilians but are secretly guarding locations. Armed with pistols and sometimes shotguns.

When you're coming up with the place we're robbing, try to be creative. Don't always just do banks, shops and museums. And if you do, do them creatively Here's a few ideas you could use:

Skyscraper where the CEO of a major company keeps his money locked away

Moving train that is transporting diamonds

A submarine with a secret weapon worth millions

A fortress in the desert containing money from a crime syndicate

A bank that another group of people is trying to rob at the same time as us

FBI base where information people will pay millions for is hidden on a server somewhere

And anything else you can think of...

When you're the one whose plan is being used, you're in charge. Any equipment needed has to be actually gotten, not just magically there. So you'll be in charge of who's getting what, who has to scout the place out etc.

I think that's about it. Try to be as creative and detailed as possible when creating heists. And don't use pictures, text descriptions only please.

Our first heist is a simple bank job. Nothing too special, just a kind of introduction to the rp and what it's like.

Name of Place: Harley & Co. Bank

Type Of Place(bank, museum, jewelry store etc): Bank

What we're stealing: There is a total of $500,000 inside the bank, enough to fill 5 or 6 bags.

Heat Level: Heat Level 1 - the bank has quite a low amount of cash stored compared to other banks, and so police presence is lacking. However, if explosions are heard, the heat level increases to Level 2.

Description of enemy forces: There are a total of six guards around the bank. One is in the security room, two stand outside the vault, two at the entrance, and one at the back entrance for employees only. If the alarms go off a total of three police cars will be sent out. If after five minutes they haven't radioed in with a confirmation of taking down the threat, another five are sent out, and from then on three more arrive every five minutes.

If an explosion is heard, Heat Level 2 is activated, and five police cars are immediately sent out, along with two heavies and a sniper. Then, five police cars are sent out every minute, along with another heavy.

Description of location:

The bank is relatively small. Through the front entrance is one medium-sized room, with a counter to the left and a couple of desks towards the back. Through a door to the back-right of the room is a corridor with three doors. The door at the end of the corridor leads to a small room with a huge metallic door leading to the vault. The door can only be opened by using four different keys, each of which are held by a random member of staff. The members of staff holding the keys change each day, so stealing them will be difficult. The door can also be drilled through, although this will take some time. A quicker option would be to plant explosives on the outside of the vault, which would be much quicker. However, in the event of an explosion, Heat Level 2 is activated, and many more police cars will be sent.

Through the door to the left of the corridor, there is a Security Room. The door is locked electronically and can only be opened with a keycard, which is held by the manager of the bank in his office. Going through the door to the right of the corridor leads to another two doors, one on the left and one on the right. The one on the left leads to a back entrance, while the one on the right brings you into the Manager's Office.

Anything else: There are alarms behind the counter, so any disturbance will set the alarms off. A couple of cameras watch the main room, one watches outside the front entrance, one watches the back entrance, one watches the vault entrance and one watches the Manager's office.
Here's how I think we should do it:

Approach: Ghost

Step-by-step guide to plan:

1. I hack the cameras from offsite, causing the bank to be evacuated due to a possible threat.

2. Maria and Jeckt silently kidnap the Manager once he leaves the bank. They take his keycard and leave him at our base.

3. Meanwhile, Iris and Andrea sneak inside the bank, plant a device which can remotely shut down the cameras, and leave before they are spotted.

4. The next day, Iris and I head towards security. Maria activates the device and her and Andrea silently kill the guard outside the back entrance, hiding his body in a dumpster. They then enter the bank.

5. At the same time, Iris and I use the keycard to enter the Security Room. We kill the guard in there before he can set the alarm off.

6. Iris stays in the Security Room in case any alarms go off. If they do, she can silence them before anyone hears them.

7. Jeckt enters the bank through the front and meets Maria and Andrea outside the vault. Once they are spotted by the guards, they silently kill them and head into the vault, where they fill the bags with money.

8. I head in to help them and we carry the bags out through the back and towards the escape vehicle waiting behind the bank.

9. Iris watches over and makes sure nothing goes wrong. Once all the bags are secure, we leave.

Number of days it takes: 2

Equipment needed:

Remote Hacking Device - This is planted by Iris and Andrea and can remotely shut down the cameras.

Silenced Pistols

Money Bags - These do not need to be obtained by the crew. These are already ready for any heist.

Anything else: If things go wrong, we carry on with the plan, except we go guns-blazing and we take the money as fast as we can.

Maria's plan:

Principles:

1. Body count. Everyone must kill at least one guard. Period.

2. Not a dime left. All the cash must be taken.

3. No member of the crew can be left behind. Not even a body.

Plan: (Will add names soon.)

Modified Assault

1. All the team enters via the backdoor, dispatching the guard in the process. If the door is permalocked or keycard can not be found, it will be blown open with C4.

2. Three members of the team (Preferably Vegas, Andrea and Jeckt) storm the lower floor of the bank, killing guards and tying up some hostages, just in case.

3. The other two members (Maria and Iris) return to the van and carry the drill and M60 into the bank. They can be helped by the other section of the team if this takes longer than expected

4. One member of the team (Maria) sets up the drill and gets to work on the vault. Another (Andrea)sets up the M60 in the lobby, enabling the crew to prevent any major action by the police to disrupt the heist. The other three stand security, covering other entrances.

5. Once the vault is open, the team member working on the drill (Maria) and two others (Iris and Vegas) bag the cash, moving it to the backdoor, where one member (Jeckt) covers a back alley.

6. The cash is moved from the back hallway to the van, along with the drill. One member of the team (ANY) returns for the M60 gunner (Andrea), and the entire team leaves.

Time consumed: 1 day

Needed Hardware:

Thermal Drill

C4

M60 GPMG

Cable ties

Advantages:

Leaves little to chance.

Acts as a good backup plan if a stealth attempt goes wrong.

Requires no outside help, reducing the number of people "in the know".

Disadvantages:

Civilian casualties likely.

Police response certain.

Expensive equipment needed.
