I might offhandedly mention that Pete never mentioned that he is a Quaker, in the strictest sense. Only that he had lived among such a group at one point. I think it goes without saying that he's not naive enough, especially at over two centuries old, to believe everyone is innately good, or that innately good beings even exist for that matter. If anything it's for that very reason that he maintains an egalitarian air about him. We're all monsters down here, dead or alive. Some of us just don't know it yet.

Personality: Hope is a fierce, well-balanced woman who enjoys debating and arguing with a worthy opponent. At her core, she believes in justice and is easy to get along with. She is an agreeable businesswoman acting out the role of one gentle in disposition yet strong in mind and resolves. Hope has a playful attitude and takes a very carefree approach to life, but is quick to work herself into a frenzy during a heated business meeting or argument. She is known as a brave, compassionate, and likeable vampire to the majority of the nest. She has always respected faith and so far has had the nobility to never once break a promise made.
Hope enjoys reading, debating, sleeping, being a nuisance and hitting on cute guys. Hope is very much a proud woman, someone who can't abandon a fight just because she's losing. She's ready to fight until the end, for the sake of her people.
She's very keen on her goal and professional in her work. She's noble and she can't really stand people who toy with her or who have betrayed her trust. She's also easily touched by others problems and if she chooses to protect someone, she will do her best until the very end. She really enjoys dating or simply spending her time on relaxing hobbies like shitposting or reading.
Occupation: Hope has been around for a very long time and she has put her extended life to very good use. To say she is worth a fortune is very much an understatement. You see Hope has her hand in almost, if not, every major company out there. And if that just wasn't enough, her grasp on and blatant manipulation of the global stock market is quite petrifying, to say the least. And well, let's just say. Hope is the puppeteer behind every up day and down day a company has and her word is quite literally what makes a company go bust or roll on a high.
Backstory: Hope was born and raised in London. Brought up right and proper as every young girl was at the time. Her father was a banker and her mother worked hours at a bakery. It was a simple enough life and for the most part wasn't anything to write home about. Hope was spoiled by her father who educated her in business and mathematics. And loved by her mother who cared for her dearly and educated her in etiquette and homemaking.
Nothing was really all that odd. Well perhaps it was for the time but all of that is in the past anyway. You see Hope was turned at the young age of twenty-five and well it happened so quickly it was practically over in a flash. Most likely a feeding went wrong but none the less Hope was rendered a fleshling after her transmutation period. Hunger ensued and yada yada yada. Hope ended up seeking out the refuge of the nest just three years later.
And she never looked back. Not once. Hope is very happy in the nest and was a very big contributor to funding its upkeep and seemingly constant renovations of past but for some reason held close to the chest, she has stopped her funding entirely. Of course, she didn't become a walking bank overnight but well that's a whole other story. A very... grim story that's seldom told. But just so you know Hope beings in a rough figure of one hundred and twenty million a month.
Personal Connections: Hope is an acquaintance of Ceril Mormont due to him being the man she deals with when transferring money. She would like to call him a friend but alas he seems to be the type to prefer solidarity. Still, that doesn't stop her from teasing the poor chap when she gets the chance.

It all differs from person to person I would imagine, some might feel intense pleasure like that if perhaps they're particularly masochistic or just have that kind of reaction. Others might feel pain or discomfort but might do it for ulterior reasons such as drugs, or money, or perhaps they are forced into it one way or another. As for feeding on vampires, there really isn't any point as they're technically undead. There wouldn't be anything to get out of it.question

I was just thinking that if a person would willingly "donate" blood to a vamp it might be because of some endorphins or such that is released on the bite like a reverse venom almost. It would certainly make subduing a victim a lot easier if they don't want to fight. Similar to how drugs work like you feel so good you don't want to stop.

I don't know, it's a good idea but some races already have hypnosis to deal with something like that, and like I said I would think the effects would differ from person to person just as there are some people who react differently to drugs. I'd rather leave this open to that people have a bit more freedom with their story telling in terms of connections or their own backstory.

Certainly a good place to start. I've got a few questions to, in a manner of speaking/writing, fatten the character up a bit. As she is now there's a bit to be desired.
1: Esper's a 21 year old New Blood. When was she turned? Where? How?
2: You've supplied information as to how she got to New York, but not why her family ditched SoCal for it so soon.
3: How is Adoncia's passing important to her character development?
4: Why is Esper so bubbly, despite being a relatively freshly churned monster?
5: Who is Arisella? Human? Vampire? Something else entirely (lots of undefined weird shit in NYC, but vampires are of course the focus)?
