  Welcome to my search thread! Feel free to refer to me as Waugh. If you'd like to know more about me feel free to ask. All that is relevant for this thread however is that you know I am interested in roleplaying. As to what I'm interested in roleplaying and my expectations of my roleplaying partners, well look for the relevant tab and peruse at your leisure.   The Revenant

  This is a story of a love that shouldn't have been. He was a Knight and she the Princess. They met while he was still a squire and his master visited the castle. Quickly becoming friends, being of the same age, their friendship blossomed into love. But her hand was to be sworn to another. Unwilling to marry someone other than her Knight, the Princess bids her father to add the stipulation that none shall have her hand less the earn it. And to earn it they would have to fight the champion of the Princess choosing. The Knight had become quite the masterful swordsman and with his love on the line, he fought ferociously and bested suitor after suitor until finally he had cut down his last man.

  The man in question had been backed by a witch who had foreseen that he would marry the Princess. So when the destiny she'd foresaw was shattered before her she cursed the Knight, banishing his soul to the deepest reaches of hell. Determined to be reunited with his lover he fights his way back to the mortal realm where time never stopped. It has been centuries, if not millennia, since he had been killed and since his love had passed away. Yet he had returned, displaced by time, to a world much changed. Feeling lost and without purpose, he discovers one who bears a remarkable resemblance to the Princess in this new era. Is this a chance for them to be together again?
  
  
  This can be amended so that the Knight is actually female, adding another layer of taboo to their love. I am fine playing either role. Setting can be medieval, modern, or futuristic.
  
  
  
  
  Legacy

  A science fantasy setting with magic and star ships, this plot revolves around an Acolyte who wishes to become a full member of his/her school of magic. In order to do so, he/she has to accomplish some feat to be recognized. Thus he/she endeavors to find the font of power of an Ancient Warlock who once ruled a vast empire that stretched across known space and beyond. Discovering the whereabouts of what she assumes to be his tomb, she actually discovers something else entirely. His right hand. His familiar and assassin, suspended in time. Releasing it brings them to blows. Having been suspended so long has left the familiar weakened and he is able to beat it into submission where she makes it his familiar. The two then begrudgingly work together to discover what happened to the Warlock, finding out more about the Acolytes Ancestry as well as why the Familiar was imprisoned.

  The Usual Suspects

  A modern or futuristic setting. A human is granted supernatural strength and perception in order to properly police supernatural beings. Some fishy cases start popping up however and so she visits one of her patsies. He is a devil who can open gates to the nether world and allow demons through. The two then become entangled in odd happenings that they have to work together to solve lest the fabric of reality be torn asunder!

So i must admit, i was about to click out of this! But i was reading The Revenant and i was just going 'typical marrying to a commoner???' then of course that spin was thrown into it! I have always enjoyed that plot, but with that kind of a drama effect! I feel like this could be a lot of fun, Pm if you're interested
