In late 2014 the United Nations, in an effort to avert full blown nuclear war wrote the Denver Pact, signed on December 7th 2014. The pact gave all countries a way to solve their differences without innocent lives being lost. They made no one innocent. At eighteen you could be chosen to partake in a war simulation; simulation here meaning, there isn't a war until you start it, leaving it in the battlefield. Several companies out of different countries bid for the job of filming the affair, for scientific research, government intervention and entertainment! Carl Vincent wrote the rule book originally, but it was thrown out, and in April of 2015, the battlefield began construction, in March of 2017, the first WARZoNE game started. The game is simple, there are seven teams, each team has up to 1000 players, based on population, each team has a general, and the point is to do one of three things; 1 kill the general, making his team yours. 2 Kill all opponents. 3 build a symbol of your country and keep it up the better it is, the less time it must stand. There are no guns in WARZoNE, only melee weapons and bows.
The game zone is a forty square mile area, to the north is a mountainous area, woods and snow, as you go south, it gets hotter, the southernmost area is desert, the foothills of the mountain on the western side gives way to a swampland, on the other side is a grassland, modeled after the Great Plains of the U.S. this allows for many different forms of combat to be played out.
Rule 1: No god mode.
Rule 2: Keep your secret plans secret, use side chat for planning.
Rule 3: Keep the sex down, try to stay out of the rape, this is a co-ed game, so I know it'll come, but skip over it please.
Rule 4: I will figure out a Morale system, a point system that if it gets too low your people will get pissed, don't worry it will make sense.
Rule 5: First come first serve with the general positions.
