Redfeather had woken up early she had not yet received an apprentice yet so she woke up Thorntooth, Duskpelt, Featherpaw and Dawnpaw then headed out for Dawn patrol she took the lead and they came to Wind Clan territory she walked along the border proudly

"C'mon Breezepelt! Catch me if you can!" Snowfeather yelled to the older warrior as he chased her across the moors. She stopped when she saw something moving by the Thunder Clan border. She went up to the Thunder Clan patrol. As deputy of Wind Clan it was her job to report all news to Onestar. "Greetings Thunder Clan." She said as she dipped her head. Breezepelt joined her and dipped his head as well.

Redfeather stopped an flicked her tail for the others to stop as well and she dipped her head in greeting before mewing softly " Greetings Wind Clan just dawn patrol we are not trespassing "

"Of course! That's just what you would say!" Breezepelt flashed at him. Snowfeather cuffed him over the ears, making him back off. She turned to the dawn patrol again. "I am so sorry, Breezepelt doesn't really know how to behave. Just asking, do you think Jayfeather could spare some Borage Leaves? Leafpelt just and her three kits and she does not have enough milk..."

Snowfeather nodded her thanks to the Thunder Clan Deputy and turned around to face Breezepelt. "I will deal with you when we get back! Onestar shall also have a say. She hissed at the warrior. The warrior stepped forward and adressed the dawn patrol. "I am very sorry for my actions, it was a mistake..." He dipped his head."

Redfeather flicked her tail for the others roll continue the patrol and she stayed to wait for the apprentices and she said kindly " All is forgiven... " then she said sharply " But watch your tongue next time when addressing a deputy "

Breezepelt dipped his head again in apology. "Snowfeather! News from River Clan border! There's an attack! Owlpaw and Foxpaw are injured!!" It was Flameheart who rushed up to them. All three turned tail and ran towards the River Clan border, waving her tail in a good bye.

Then the apprentices came back with the herbs she took them and sent them to the others then she Ran into Wind Clan territory towards the river

As they arrived Snowfeather clawed at Gorgefur who was closing in on Onestar who had joined the battle. The clan leader looked beaten, but there was spirit left. They drove the patrol back. Once they fled Snowfeather told Flametail to go get Kestrelfur.

Redfeather dropped the herbs and jumped into battle and pounced on Thistleclaw biting him and they rolled around till the Tom fled back across the river

Snowfeather turned to Redfeather and dipped her head. "Thank you Redfeather.." She turned to Onestar who was lying on the ground, resting. "Onestar?" She said. "Don't worry Snowfeather.. I'm not dead yet.." He replied calmly. He looked up and saw Redfeather. "Hello Redfeather, will you give our thanks to your leader and Thunder Clan?" He said, sitting up.

Redfeather dipped her head in acknowledgement to Snowfeather and she then turned to Onestar and said " My pleasure Onestar " then she trotted over and picked up the herbs and dropped them at Snowfeathers feet dipped her head and left back to her territory saying " I shall see you at the meeting tomorrow night " and she pelted away

Snowfeather's picked up the herbs and rushed back to camp, just in time to see Kestrelfur off. She went into the nursery. She dropped some borage leaves for Leafpelt to lick up before putting the rest in the medicine den. She then waited by the fresh kill pile for the patrol to come back.

Redfeather arrived back into camp and told her father of the fight then the patrol came back and she sent out the rest of the days orders and went to the fresh kill pile and picked out a shrew she trotted over to her favorite spot by the nursery in a sunny place where she could smell milk and the fluffy fur of kits she purred as she ate

Snowfeather laid down in her nest and purred. She longed to fall asleep, for this was the perfect time during the day to sleep. But her duties called. She went out of the warrior's den and stretched. She sent out two hunting patrols and a patrol to the River Clan border, just in case.

Redfeather had finished eating and she yawned sticking her pink tongue out then she got up stretched backwards and stood up straight licked her nose then retracted her tongue and trotted over to her nest for her afternoon nap since she was leading the next hunting patrol and she fell asleep warm in a patch of sunlight
