So, you guys have any ideas for your characters?

I do! At the moment I'm developing a noble family that dwells on the coast. I think, perhaps, we should agree on a general region or thread for all our characters to tie into, lest things become impossible to work with because everyone is spread across the country. It might not be so fun if two characters start in the same location and are able to interact frequently while everyone else has their own individual threads elsewhere.

Maybe we could have the Loyalist Houses all in the same place, and all the Councilists in the same place? Just to keep everyone together?

Maybe not all houses. There could be factionism within the factions. Like of course have a general area where each side has the most control. But have like small pockets of dissent in each side, or have neutral areas that can be subject to expansion of influence

What's the magic system?

Magic is very scarce, with only a select number of people able to use it. There are three kinds of magic: divine, arcane, and natural. Divine magic is, well, magic given by the God's, arcane magic is used via spells, and natural magic bends nature, and revolves around manipulating the natural energies of the universe.

There's more deities and religions out there, but the Church heavily enforces itself on the people, so worshipping any of them would probably be deadly for you. As for the House, they might rouze suspicion, but nothing more.

Magic usually needs some kind of action to activate it, be it a gesture, prayer, incantation, or the like. What do you mean by resources?

Ah. I see. There's plenty of gold in the Heartlands, with salt on the Coast, the majority of the kingdom's food in the Red Plains, and a lot of the wood in the Long Woods.

What kinds of races are allowed?

Only humans. There's no fantasy races, I'm afraid.
