Hi! So, this is an idea sprouted from a dream I had last night. Basically, it's Game of Thrones, with two or more factions vying for control of a Nation, but with a twist. This will be a generational affair, with characters partnering up with other characters (or NPCs,) having children, and having the war carry on with the next generation, and so on and so forth. As stated before, this will be like Game of Thrones, and that carries on into tone. Characters (with permission, of course) and NPCs can die suddenly and without warning. But worry not! Like I said, characters will only die if I have permission to do so, and other players have the same. Now, let's get on to the lore.
This RP takes place on the continent of Terras, in the year 1336, Terran Calendar. The nation of Byrne is tearing itself apart from within. The death of their King, Ethew Amblecrown. As tradition goes, a council of Bryne's nobility assembled in the capital of Brafford to choose a new heir. But there's a...slight problem with that. Ethew had no heirs. No legitimate ones, anyway. Half of the Council, led by the late King's cousin, nominated themselves as ruler of Byrne, claiming to be the last of the Amblecrown bloodline, besides their children, of course. Another half, led by the High Commander of the royal guard instead nomitated the bastard child of Ethew, as tradition dictated that the child of the monarch most fit to rule should become the ruler. What began as a simple argument soon spiraled into armed conflict, and The War of the Crimson Throne began. You can be anybody, really, even the characters I mentioned above (well, except for King Ethew because he's kind of...dead.) I'll get into the geography of Byrne, as well as it's culture and customs once I see if anyone's interested. So yeah! Post here if you're interested!
