That Lass Over There
Constant Panic
Hi everyone! So, those of you who tend to search about the partner might notice I have multiple 1x1 searches already. Honestly, that's mostly because I'm an airhead that forgets you can search for threads and edit the first post, but not this time! This time, it's 100% on purpose. In my current active 1x1 search thread, I have two plots posted as an example of my thinking style, previous work, etc. However, I also have them up because I honestly would enjoy doing those again. And again. And maybe a few billion more times. However, nobody ever seems to ask, "can we do ___" and it's upsetting since I really do want to do those...
So, rant over, I'm putting every single plot/setting/flushed out world worth their salt here, for your potential consumption.

...I solemnly swear that I'll get plots that aren't game-like up soon. Soon=some time before death.
So, rant over, I'm putting every single plot/setting/flushed out world worth their salt here, for your potential consumption.
- I'm male. I guess that's important?
- I'm Autistic. Pretty sure this one is important.
- I'm under 21. I guess it's important... Maybe.
- I prefer fxf, and don't do mxm in romance (of main characters)
- I'm "smart". I think. So, I tend to have my characters do "smart" things, like poking the dragon that ate a few worlds. Good times, those were.
- The above list item is totally sarcasm, and no, I don't actually do it. Unless you want me to, then I'll totally do it as long as there's an excuse.
- The plots below are summaries, not really describing the actual things that happen in the plot because they're more or less hooks. And I'm too lazy to re-write the description of old...
- I'm not going to say you have to go with one of the plots listed here in this thread. I'm totally fine with you just coming in and saying you want to RP with me, but aren't interested in the plots in this thread.
- My posting speed varies from one every two or three days to twenty a day, my life is super chaotic and totally left to chance for the funsies.
- My posting length tends to be 1-2 paragraphs. I pride myself on quality, not quantity.
- If it is my intention to leave you, I WILL TELL YOU. If I go a long period without saying something I either forgot and need to be poked or something happened in real life and I forgot in the chaos and need to be poked. AKA I need to be poked.

No, this isn't undertale related. Also, yes, the summary is supposed to be this whimsical. It's pretty much to prepare you with the proper mindset

A post-apocalyptic Earth, 5 days after the mana rampage. Our characters woke up to the biggest, cruelest joke in their lives: the gods decided they should live, while most others should die or be changed from pain. The mana rampage, caused due to the unused mana of the Earth accumulating, have brought about many insane changes. First off, every survivor has a god as a sponsor(obviously, this is why you're still alive)! Second off, reality has become pretty much an MMO(now I'm questioning my sanity?)! Third! Items have randomly become enchanted! Some give you special skills impossible to learn like magic, and some may even grant you Unique skills! There are other things, like traps that insta-kill you, but let's not worry about those! Oh yeah, and I forgot, there are Skills! Doing something repetitively will get you a related skill, and that skill will represent your mastery and double your ability in that thing! Skills go from I-L (Roman numerals), or novice to god! There is a downside, and it's that you can only have two skills active at a time per level. (Unique skills don't count towards this limit, but your body can only hold one Unique skill. Anything more is beyond even gods.)
There's a bunch more to explain, but the rest can be done on the go. Overall, it's kinda sandboxy, and will take a lot of time to build upon itself. Basically, it's a role play that gives us time to develop characters and world over billions of posts, and let's us feel the characters, every loss, every victory, every hope, and every despair if we do it well. Also, a warning: peeps gonna die.

A new development in the virtual reality industry, the 'DreamChip' allows gamers to game as they sleep without suffering sleep loss. At the start there are three games: Olias(a mecha/other advanced tech war game), Illiad(A modern fantasy where 'irregulars' gain certain powers tied to objects, like dice or cards), and Vache(a classic fantasy game with a few twists.). The story revolves around the players of the games, how the chips slowly affect their users, and how in-game troubles start to spread to real life. It's originally meant to take place in 2126, when humans have almost fully abandoned war, wireless electricity is a thing, electricity is made clean by fusion, and the continents (excluding Asia) became countries - basically, North American Coalition, European Union, etc. Of course, some of that might not last long...
If you don't like the idea of confusing reality for fiction, this probably isn't for you. It's also probably not for you if you're shouting that it's an SAO clone, because I came up with it before I watched SAO and it kinda ticks me off when people say it is

*Please note that this RP is a what-if scenario, and is not actually making any religious claims or statements.
He has forsaken us, deciding to drown us in our own creations while giving us the impossible hope of redemption. On Tuesday, February 19th 2009 the world officially became His twisted game, making monsters out of our dead and sinners, murderers and things without humanity out of the survivors. To live, you simply need to play along with His twisted game, or get a friend to pay a thousand dollars each time you die...
God starts the apocalypse with the guise of a typical RPG, providing individuals with tablets to act as their "game menu".
Although, it's more accurate to call it an eternal judgement day.

(This is a new entry I just made up, so it got a more in-depth summary than the others...
This can be played from multiple different angles, and doesn't actually require one of the main characters to be a revived hero)
Humans and Demi-Humans - in a world where monsters were supposed to be the true enemy, these two groups have been at each other's throats since almost the dawn of time. Since 102,462 years ago, to be precise. Although the conflict has been calming down since two hundred years ago, recently with the dawn of new and popular philosophies on both sides the calm has ceased. Both of these doctrines are similar, with one overarching teaching; the enemy is the cause of your sorrow, so you should crush them. The youth of this brief peaceful era grew up with no knowledge of the process of war, with only fairy tales left to tell them of the heroics performed. Using the new philosophy as a foothold, the new generation drove the two sides back into war, desiring for heroics. However, they also desired victory even more than any generation before.
Driven by their thirst for victory, both Humans and Demi-Humans researched areas previously restricted by common sense; the process of resurrection, monster breeding for war purposes, selective marriage to produce a stronger child... Anything to beat the enemy.
Needless to say, though, the process of a successful resurrection garnered the most attention, especially in the children of the generation that revived the war. The leaders held no doubts in their mind that if it were the heroes they grew up hearing fairy tales of, they would be able to end it once and for all. The biggest surprise? Bringing a soul of someone who is dead back to the living is easier than most other branches of magic, only requiring an absurd amount of mana. The soul would even make it's own body out of the mana used in the spell to revive it, negating the need for a vessel that was initially hypothesized based on the typical necromancy. There seemed to be an absolute, irrefutable catch, though, rendering the struggle pointless:
Whether an act or reality, no hero they revived has admitted that they retained memories from their past, except for how to use some of the abilities they were more famous for. They did not typically have any feelings of camaraderie towards those who revived them, either. It was very rare that a revived hero willingly went to the front lines, or even associated with the war, the most common occurrence being suicide upon resurrection.

In a future where people have achieved satisfaction of every basic need through scientific progression and lost the will to advance, most have become freeloaders living long, affluent lives without effort. Some still seek to gain power over the world, not realizing the futility of reigning over the satisfied masses. And some still sought for something more than fulfillment, often turning to games for a purpose, and fill the absent struggle.
Among the last group in particular, there has been a sensation; a world where you could do anything with magic, so the advertising said. A game that grew popular for promoting perfect freedom, a lack of NPCs with every avatar having a human behind them, and the industry standard perfect graphics that would fool any into believing it real.
《Magic Crafter Online》
A world that starts a blank slate; for two years before it's announcement and another half a year before the game's release, the 20 staff members behind the game purely used the in-game systems to shape a void into a world with a full-blown ecosystem and secrets strewn all over, waiting for player discovery.
A world the size of Neptune, and the +300 million players drawn in by advertising and friends. A game without an HP bar or preset skills, where one's capabilities are determined by creativity and knowledge.
...I solemnly swear that I'll get plots that aren't game-like up soon. Soon=some time before death.
