Hello writers! Welcome to my prompt listing, or my search corner, or whatever. Here’s a little bit about me :
- My hobbies include reading (I'm always happy to discuss books!), arts & crafts (mostly drawing and sewing, but I have been wanting to get into bookbinding recently) and video games.
- I'm a software engineer, I work full time so I can mostly answer on Fridays and weekends. I'm currently committing to one answer a week if we have an active RP.
- My replies can vary from 250 to 2000 words, but I have a preference for the 300-500 range. I think initial posts should be a little lengthier, however, so my introductions would probably be over 1500 words. I am a HUGE fan of back and forth responses, should we be online at the same time. It's definitely not a requirement, but there is something about staring at my screen waiting for your response and absolutely freaking out when I get it because I am so excited to answer.
- I prefer my RPs to include romance, but for the right plot I could be convinced otherwise. What is the most important to me is that whatever I RP makes me smile. Whether it is the humour of throwing my character into embarrassing situation, the pure happiness of writing some fluff, or the evil thrill of torturing them, I wanna feel all the feelings!
- I can play a complete range of characters and I have no real preference, I also like all pairings, be they straight or queer.
- My favourite settings are Fantasy and Scifi, but I can definitely dabble in some realism as well. I don't do Fandom canon character roleplay. It just doesn't vibe with me. I could however be convinced of certain roleplay in a fandom universe (particularly books) or inspired by that universe. But no canon characters.
- I’m neutral towards OOC. If it’s your jam, it’s my jam, otherwise no biggie.
- I don’t mind ghosts! I’ll personally try to let you know if I lose interest of don’t plan on responding, but I understand that things happen and I’ve got too much to worry about to be upset at being ghosted hahaha.
About you
I don’t have many restrictions for what I am looking for in a RP partner, but here goes:
- As you can imagine, I'm LGBTQIA+ friendly! I would rather you don't interact if you are not, even if it's not related to our potential RP.
- You are over 18, it just feels awkward to me Rping with someone minor, especially romance.
- You can reply at least once a week, with at least 200 words per reply.
- You are willing to worldbuild with me, and plot together.
- Your characters are not 100%, nonredeemable, pure assholes. I don’t mind difficult characters, or characters with negative traits, but I’m not interested in Rping with someone who is completely nonredeemable and is evil for the pleasure of it. Keep that for the villains please!
- You are interested in roleplaying a slowburn romance (if the plot is adequate for it). I don’t care for insta-love. I don’t mind if the setting is romantic to begin with (ex: fake dating, arranged marriage, etc.) but there should be a reason for our characters to like each other. Plus, I like angst of (actually not) unrequited love.
- Here are some pairings or settings I do not care for, and I’m really not interested in playing: dark romance, bully romance, mafia or gang settings, vampires, werewolves, power dynamic ships (TeacherXStudent, DoctorXPatient, etc.), serial killers, stalkers, etc.

OC X OC Childhood enemies to lovers
Katelyn (my OC) and A (your OC) have been raised together. Their mothers were best friends and did their very best for their kids to also be. Play dates every weekend, booking vacations together, sending them to the same summer camps, Katelyn and A never knew respite from one another. Small problem: they never got along. They absolutely loathed each other, always played mean pranks and screamed at one another (my idea here is a little bit like a The Swan Princess situation, if you know what I’m talking about). Their mums found it oh so cute. They like each other but don’t know how they express it, so they fight.
Eventually, Katelyn’s family moved away and she finally got to know peace and enjoy her life. She almost forgot about the annoying young boy who made her first fourteen years of her life hell. Flash forwards and she is 25 and has had the worst week of her life. She is going out with her girlfriends with the firm intention of getting laid by the first good looking stranger she sees.
She spots A (I have the idea that this character is male, but would not have a problem with them being non binary or a girl, as long as they are AMAB to fit with the backstory) and finds them incredibly attractive. They hit it off and eventually have a one night stand, with Kate waking up at A’s place. Little does she knows this attractive stranger was the bane of her existence years ago...
I want to emphasize that idea here is not bully to lovers or something like that. They were both kids, both terrible to one another. They are ultimately both pretty decent people. I’m really wanting to lean into the comedy aspect of things, with them reverting to their petty and childish ways upon recognizing each other. Maybe their mothers are still in the picture and they somehow get forced into proximity once again, or something like that.
This is based off a RP I did years ago (if you used to rp on a forum called Skycity, in French, under the username loulou and remember this plot please know that I love you and miss you) and is meant to be a romantic comedy of sorts.

The two kingdoms of A and B have been in decline for a while. For kingdom A, it started when the previous king died, his only heir (my OC) was crowned and refused to take a wife. He is respected by his citizens for his strength and prowess in combat, and has been dubbed The Demon King for his fierceness even if, if you believe the rumours, he is quite the mellow intellectual. He is very strong and excels at most type of combat, but is very much a soft heart at the core, and struggles with human connection. He never wed because the prospect of getting close to someone terrifies him.
Now the kingdoms A and B are both threatened by an enemy much stronger. The only way to survive seems to be an alliance between them, solidified by the demon king wedding kingdom B youngest heir (your OC!). The advisor to the demon king proposed the idea, and even though he fought against it initially, he eventually caved out of love for his kingdom.
The idea here is that my OC wants to do the best he can for his spouse, but really sucks at human interactions. He has a bad understanding of social norms, is blunt to a fault, and can be hurtful without intending to. He also has a dislike for physical contact, sometimes so strong the simplest touch feels repulsive to him. This is not born of trauma, but merely that when he gets overwhelmed he just cannot deal with touch. I’m looking for an OC that would not try to change him, but find his quirks somewhat endearing.
The plot would follow the course of the arranged marriage, as our characters solve the threat of the third kingdom and eventually, slowly grow fond of each other. There’s a possibility of making this a little into a monster romance, if it’s something you are into. I can imagine the demon king being a child born of dark magic and having a monstrous, twisted alternate form that makes him keep his distance from others.

Loosely Bloodborne inspired
This one is more of an half-formed idea, but I’d like to do a RP in a Bloodborne inspired setting. For those who don’t know the game, and are still interested, it would be a Victorian setting where the church has found a miraculous healing blood that can cure any illness. Small problem: large amount of said blood transforms people into blood thirsty monsters. That’s where hunters come into play: they hunt those creatures so the common of mortals can be safe. The game eventually leans more into the cosmic horror themes, but I’m more interested in the Victorian grim dark setting.
I thinking of a completely different setting than the game, but that is still following the same basic lore. In this version of the story, the world would be a little less destroyed. Villages still exist, people can still go outside (for now!) Basically, the church has just started distributing the healing blood of the great ones (surprise! The healing blood comes from the corpse of a fucked up alien washed up on a shore somewhere) and people are starting to transform. My character would be a hunter.
I’m not against it, but I'm not really interested in making this one a romance at the moment (especially not a DollxHunter romance) as I’d like to focus on the plotting weird shit more. Maybe your character is another hunter and we pair up in order to save a city? Maybe your character is a researcher of the Great Ones and my hunter is tasked with protecting them (I like this one!)?
