  Jimin at first glance seems like your typical delinquent. Unabashedly blunt and crude, with a mouth that fit for a sailor. She's often rather quiet when she doesn't have to speak to anyone for any reason and generally keeps to herself. Some would assume she's quietly people watching which is true on occasion but usually she elects to simply block everything and everyone out if they don't concern her.
  
  Despite that, she is a rather kind and caring person, but she's not always very good at showing it. She takes a lot of pride in herself and doesn't backdown from anything, even if it gets her in trouble. Her anger and anxiousness take forefront of her mind despite hating feeling that way, so she 'tries' her best not to feel anything at all.   Before auditioning for a survivor show, Jimin had a small but notable following of a few hundred fans for her indie raps and self made choreography. She was in college and doing well but she hated it. She often remained silent and away from people when she wasn't practicing or participating in the events. However she had become a fan favorite for being such a 'mystery' and gained a reputation of being somewhat 'scary' especially with her Daegu accent.   From a family where his father is a police chief and his little brother is the star of the family. Was he bullied in his childhood? Yes. But it didn't quite affect Hyuntae the way it would have a normal person. Instead, he sneered like a madman at the world who treated him coldly. Unable to process the trauma like a normal individual. One day in junior high his main bully disappeared. No one knew what happened to him but it was to be noted Hyuntae wore an especially happy demeanor. It was after that he disappeared from school but for another reason. His father had taken him to an intense school where they reformed hikikomori { think a baby type of military school }.
  
  Hyuntae came back to school as a completely new person. No longer was he looking like a disheveled rat but a whole snack. Like a garden of thorny roses torn up and replanted with nightshade. People seemed to forget how terrible of a person you were if there was beauty to mask it. Hyuntae found that fact very interesting. growing up fast--
Sumire came from a normal family -- mother, father and daughter. Until things quickly descended downhill into hell. Her mother passed away when she was in elementary school and has little memories except being in a busy hospital room and the smell of antiseptic. After her untimely death her father who should have stepped up instead shut down. He began drinking and leaving Sumire to fend for herself. Sometimes not even coming home. Resulting in Sumire having to mentally mature faster than other kids her age. She has to learn how to cook, wash clothes, and basically everything else a child takes for granted having done. Sumire even had to take herself to her contemporary dance lessons herself, and had to steal the money from her fathers stash every month in order to keep attending. Until around high school she'd gotten a scholarship for a prestigious dance studio and continued her lessons. Things were hopeful until it was snuffed out.

teenage nightmare--
Around this time her father developed a gambling addiction. Money that had been there for bills suddenly wasn't, and unknown to her at the time her father tangled himself up with loan sharks. Debt collectors came knocking on her door, big, intimidating men for anyone especially a high school girl. They were always looking for her father and when he wasn't there took out there wrath on her. To the point where she injured her leg and was unable to compete in her upcoming dance competition. The one that could have lit a light for future and insured she had stability in her life for once. Instead she was forced to drop out and in a turn of events her tutor deemed her unfit to continue and her scholarship was revoked. Sumire's grades in school were laughable at best and on the eve of her 18th birthday she found herself without a future and later that week she'd find out without a father. He'd offed himself, unable to take the mounting stress of the debt collectors hunting him down. Luckily she was left with his measly life insurance -- the only money he was unable to blow carelessly in his lifetime. Sumire sold the apartment and everything in it to move out of her small town. Fleeing the bad juju and loan sharks snapping at her ankles.

the calm after the storm--
Sumire settled in a small two bedroom apartment with a roommate who was an escort. She was a lively, fun girl who was at least dependable despite her other shortcomings and slew of men she invited into her bed. The girl luckily hooked her up with an adult club where she could dance for money and if times were desperate strip. Sumire made it a habit to lure men to love hotels only to drug them and steal their money -- on a good day that was her plan. However sometimes things didn't follow suit. Ookami was her name at the club and she was quite popular with all the old perverts due to her younger appearance. Sumire hated them with a passion and if she could kill with simply a thought she would have the blood of many on her conscious. Attending college

  if there were one word shawn could use to describe his life before college, it would be 'normal'. as normal as it could be, growing up the youngest under his older sisters; an eight year difference between him and his oldest sister. the third child to richard, a fourth grade history teacher, and diana, a stay-at-home mom, shawn grew up in suburbia, spent summer vacations at disney world, had a childhood most people could only ever dream of. as the youngest and only boy, shawn had an easy childhood; spoiled by his mother, and dad's "mini me". with both of his sisters out of the house by the age of twelve, life for shawn couldn't get any better.
  
  that is, until the end of seventh grade, when he was sat down by his parents and told they were getting a divorce. there had been signs throughout shawn's life that his parents were miserable, early mornings when he would catch his dad asleep on the couch, late nights where the lull of yelling downstairs washed over him in his sleep. from that day forward, life for shawn has been a tug of war; one christmas with his father and sisters, and the other with his mother. existence was just one distraction after the other, making his way through high school with a's and b's, graduating a year early than the rest of his class, and being accepted into his last-ditch-effort school; his only option after failing to meet the deadline for ucla. attending university for mechanical engineering, shawn sold the next seven years of his life away, following the footsteps of his father's dream.
  
  opportunity reared its head during shawn's senior year of college- a travel abroad opportunity offered by the school for anyone needing the requirements, and between traveling to korea or working a summer internship, shawn chose the latter, hoping that some new scenery would do him some good.
