Hello world! I keep getting ghosted by my partners, and I had an idea I wanna do so bad! I wanna do the villain Deku AU, had a couple different ideas. One I'm basing off the Villain Gang comic.
Basically after meeting All Might and saving Katsuki from the sludge villain, Deku does not receive OFA. But he's determined to move on with his life.
Unfortunately his name is blacklisted in every school even remotely related to heroics, due to an unfortunate interview after the battle where his name is dragged through the mud by heroes.
As if THAT wasn't enough, Deku's mother is approached by the Commission to help. They propose an experimental surgery that could give her quirk to her son.
Deku's mom regrets how she reacted in the past, discouraging Deku's dream, so she goes through with it. The surgery is a success, but his mother dies.
I wanted to add a Joker twist, like Deku is shot at when he tries to escape the facility, but falls into a vat of acid. He miraculously survives, with his hair turned white from shock.
Deku goes back to his house, but it's set ablaze with him inside to destroy the evidence. AFO saves him and Deku becomes his disciple along with Tomura. I love the found family dynamic of the League and Deku needs it. I wanna ship Deku and Bakugou (I'd be Deku ofc) but I'm open to other ideas as long as it's Canon characters. I could be convinced by a really good OC.
My second idea comes from Dark Knight
Deku became a prosecuting attorney and rebuilt his relationship with Katsuki. Due to a series of unfortunate events, he was kidnapped by Dabi who used him to make a point. He and Katsuki were held at opposite ends of the city.
Deku was rescued by All Might, believing Katsuki to be killed in the explosion, but he survived thanks to Eri's powers. Deku had half his face burnt off and refused skin grafts. He was deeply traumatized by the experience and becomes a mad scientist, eventually being recruited by the League
