Hello to one and all! I'm looking to write some stories in any of the settings below. It's mostly video game fandoms. I've got plots and characters for each. I would love to hear any ideas you have as well. Also I can provide a writing sample on request.
So a little about what you can expect. I try to be pretty active and my timezone is EST. My writing style is in 3rd person. Responses go from paragraphs to multi-paragraphs depending on the scene. Establishing something would be longer while simple dialogue would be shorter. I can play multiple main characters and side characters as needed. I also prefer mainly original characters, but am open to playing canon ones on the side.
Fandoms in no particular order:
Legend of Zelda (Any timeline.)
Baldur's Gate 3 (Can do something like the game's plot or just something set in Faerûn.)
Darkest Dungeon
Project Moon Games: Lobotomy Corporation, Library of Ruina
The ones below have prompts. They can be used as is, altered, or thrown out for something else entirely. They're mostly there to get ideas out. Just ignore the messy formatting.
Sonic the Hedgehog (Games and comics.)
Deep beneath the surface away from the raging turmoil of the world was a nameless ruin. It was hard to say who built this place or what happened to them. To the weary survivors and steadfast Resistance fighters who found this place such facts simply didn't matter. Each day the Eggman Empire's grip grew tighter on the world. Safe places were becoming fewer and further between. Any city that was not occupied was razed to the foundations. Whoever heard the whispers of sanctuary were drawn to the dim ramshackle remnants of a forgotten civilization.
In a more open place in those vast caverns was a cluster of buildings. Some had stood there for who knows how long. Others had been set up in haste to better shelter those who sought refuge here. There was even a growing circle of tents around. Everything from lanterns, to lights rigged to crackling batteries, and humble candles were used to illuminate the ever dark tunnels. The mood of those here was bleak to say the least. Word of Sonic's capture by Eggman sent fear and panic throughout the globe. Almost every bit of news since then had only added to the overwhelming despair. There were hard won victories here and there, but any good news was easily eclipsed by the bad.
A short way off from the main camp was a impromptu training field with those with the courage remaining to fight back honed their skills. A beaten board sat propped up against a wall with a crude picture of Eggman painted on it. This is where it all begins.

XCOM
"Commander, we have a situation."
It's been years since the fall of Advent and the Elder's retreat from Earth. While the planet celebrates it's hard won freedom, its all too clear that the world will never be the same again. Across the globe are no shortage of issues. Psionic powers have awakened in humanity, landscapes have been altered to alien flora, hordes of the Lost infest the cities of old, and perhaps most pressing are the remnants of the alien forces. Without the leadership of the ethereals, the once domineering forces of Advent have been reduced to scattered holdouts. Then there's the question of what to do with the captured aliens. The Skirmishers who fought side by side with XCOM are hoping for eventual peaceful integration. That seems almost like a pipe dream though. No one is going to forget the horrors committed during the occupation. In any case, XCOM command wants to avoid any situation where the enemy gains a figurehead to rally behind or worse find that there's an Elder left to take back control.
Lately there's been rumors about an exceptionally powerful sectoid managing to gather a cult-like following of disenfranchised psionics. They've been calling him the Apostle. With the general distrust towards psionics, its simple for him to manipulate and mislead. He's got people believing the Elder are gods who generously uplifted humanity to it's true potential. So, he's a strong psionic, makes grandiose speeches about the ethereals, and he's blue. Sound familiar?
Intel on the remains of Advent suggests that they're starting to see this so called Apostle as something close to the Chosen. It's not simply raw charisma winning them over to his side either. There's a disturbing implication in his speeches that he knows where an ethereal is. If an Elder is still on Earth then its capture or removal is top priority. One acting with impunity would severely undermine Earth's restoration or could even tip the scales back into Advent's favor. Before planning for the worst though, this sectoid should be taken alive. Hopefully it's a load of hot air if not then we brace for the fallout.

Divinity Original Sin 2
Across the sea shimmering in the morning light sailed a mighty galleon. It's crimson flag waving proudly in the breeze as it's tall sails caught the wind. A picturesque sight any painter would be proud to capture. Her name etched across her stern was 'Royal Ruby'. On deck clad in red was her dour faced crew. Each a magister burdened with the duty of ferrying those who deigned to use source. Indeed, source users or sorcerers as they're aft called would bring the world to ruin if left unchecked. Therefore it was by divine decree that each be brought to Fort Joy to be cured.
Sequestered below reduced to wearing rags, collared like beasts, and on their way to a grim fate were the sorcerers. All from different walks off life now bound together. Unlike a certain other group of prisoners, this group did not have any gods watching over them. No intervention will reach them in this place nor in Fort Joy. So, it begs the question. Is there a chance to escape the magister clutches or for that matter survive even a week at their new home? What good is living though if it leads to the 'cure'? The clock is ticking. Fight for a new fate or accept damnation.
