Strap in, kiddies. We're going for a bit of a trip into the mind of Stanley Kubrick. So, A Clockwork Orange. That's a messed up film but that doesn't mean it isn't good. And I'm a fan of it. So, I've had a hankering to have an RP based on it.
However, IMPORTANT: for those who have seen the film or even read the book, they will know that there are strong themes of sexual violence. This is not okay. We will be removing these elements. No one wants to see them and hopefully no one wants to play them.
With that seriousness out of the way, I'm gonna put down some dot points about what's what when it comes to the RP and myself:
- Set in the same dystopia style London.
- Original characters, not the ones from the movie, please. Though you can take elements from them.
- Keeping with the theme of rampant gangs.
- Keeping with some of the unusual language, though using it often isn't necessary.
- No sexual abuse or sexual violence. That's not okay.
- Violence of other kinds and swearing is okay.
For the actual storyline beyond the setting and such, I'd like to work out with a partner. Perhaps two rival gang leaders fall for each other? Perhaps one is out for revenge after a member was killed? Who knows!
And now for some boring stuff about me:
- First off, I live in Australia. So, timezone is weird. But I'll reply as I can.
- I like to RP over PM.
- Acceptable grammar and spelling. That's where it's at, yeah? Mistakes are of course okay, we all make mistakes. I make 'em all the time!
- I write anywhere from two to four paragraphs and onwards. No one liners, please, friends.
- No God Modding, that's a given and a paddlin'.
- We must build this world together. Let's both contribute to the turn of events!
- I like to play females. I can handle playing a male but it's not as enjoyable for me and I would strongly prefer a female.
- I'll do a relationship though none of the 'business', right right? Flirting and such, that's fine.
- There will be violence and some swearing. Some of it may be quite confronting but it will not go beyond gang fights and such. Let's not threaten kids or anything, yeah?
I have rambled for too long. That's that, I think. Otherwise, I like to be friends with who I'm RPing with, so let's have a chat in OOC! If you're interested, chuck me a message or comment here.
