Her closest friends know her secrets while others either assume she's some goody-goody as the Headmaster's daughter, or find reasons to throw jabs her way. No one outside of her friends and her family know about her affliction.

While I realize that her creation and history do "alternate" the history of the Potterverse and a few characters, the changes are very small in comparison. I am more then willing to play her with a number of Original Marauder's characters as well as your own creations for the area; though I would like to talk about our characters first and discuss instead of throwing just anyone in with her.
For Victoria, I am looking for a partner who can write in detail and at length. Victoria's player has almost two decades of roleplaying experience and is a multi-paragraph- novella length writer and I would love to see the same detail from my partner.
I look for partners who are creative, detailed, don't mind helping in creating a world and not someone who just sits by while I do all of the work. Let's do this together! I also don't mind playing NPC side characters either and would prefer a partner who doesn't mind that either. Let's create a world together, not just a story!

BIOGRAPHY:
All had heard the gossips and rumors of Albus Dumbledore and his connection with Gellert Grindlewald. How the two were childhood friends. How the two, along with Albus's younger brother Aberforth, caused the death of their sister, Ariana. How Albus tried never to directly fight with Grindlewald during the 1st Wizarding War.. and how before that time, they were more then friends.
After the capture and imprisonment of Grindlewald in Nurmengard and the Wizarding World returning to a state of "normality", whatever that might be, everything went on about normal. Dumbledore grew older, continued his work at Hogwarts, eventually becoming Headmaster.
However, along the way, he became great friends with a magical store owner in Diagon Alley. Glissabella Ollivander, older sister of Ollivander who founded the Ollivander Wand Shop. She owned the shop for Familiars and Magical Creatures and helped young ones choose a beloved pet or owl for them.
Over time, their friendship became very dear to each of them and with a love and admiration, as well as the ideal that they were getting older and wanted companionship, they wed, and late in life gave birth to their only child-- Victoria Ariana Dumbledore.
Something had happened though that both Albus and Glissy were unaware of. When they got married, news spread, and it eventually got back to Gellert, imprisoned in his own Nurmengard Castle, heavily guarded. Hurt with a feeling of deep betrayl he found a way to send a message to the followers her had left in the free world. That should any child be born from this union.. be a cursed child. That darkness may poison their blood and draw them down the path Dumbledore had always accused Grindlewald of following.
When Victoria was born, word spread again, and one day Albus and Glissy recieved mail by a strange black owl. A letter.. derived from Gellert Grindlewald himself, telling Albus of the curse he had someone bestow. A curse, with no cure. Albus had no idea how Grindlewald managed to contact him or anyone else, but with his connections to the Ministry of Magic, he made sure Grindlewald never had another visitor until the Dark Lord himself.
When Victoria was four, her mother had fallen gravely ill and over the course of a year, passed away. While Albus was left heartbroken, he did fairly well balancing the life of a single father with the help of his and his wife's dear friend-- Minerva McGonagall, who was also a Hogwarts teacher with an understanding of lost love.
Victoria was raised in a community of Witches and Wizards. She would often be in her father's office or sitting in on classes, learning before it was even her time to go to school. While she wouldn't recieve her wand until her 11th year (At times 12th) when she recieved her offical offer to join Hogwarts, she was able to practice with potions, herbs, and like her mother, had an affinity for magical creatures.
However, as she grew, what Grindlewald had made Albus fear was beginning to pass. There were times when she would be found looking in books at the darker side of Wizarding history, or researching darker potions or curses or asking questions about more dangerous beasts in the Wizarding world. She didn't think anything of it nor did she show any interest in becoming evil.. but Albus could see the signs that something inside stirred which was why,instead of an owl or average creature, he bestowed on her the only son of his beloved Phoenix, Fawkes, to watch over her.
When she started to use magic more frequently before starting school, was when the nightmares started. A darkness calling her that even she began to notice. When it came time to join the Hogwarts ranks, it wasn't anyone surprise that she was placed in Gryffindor. But what Albus, Minerva and a few others were curious about.. was why it took so long. They couldn't hear the battle going on in her head with the Sorting Hat.
"Ah I see, I see.. of course the courage and blood of a Gryffindor is present. A lust for knowledge would make you a dear Ravenclaw indeed. And such loyalty I see would welcome you into Hufflepuff. But you were born to be a Gryffindor.. almost. I see.. I see something stirring in your heart. Perhaps Slytherin is the house for you."
"No.." She begged. "Please not that.. there wasn't a Witch or Wizard that didn't go bad that wasn't in Slytherin.." her hands gripped her knees tightly as she sat there. Gryffindor.. Gryffindor.. Gryffindor.. Afterall, it was the namesake of her family and while she hadn't spoken to her father of the feelings she had, and while he hadn't spoken to her, she didn't want to shame her family name by being put in Slytherin of all alternate houses.
After the silent argument in her head, the Sorting Hat proudly announced, "Gyffindor!" And Victoria sighed with relief and smiled, hopping down to join her class. It was in this class she would first meet Lily Evans, who would become one of her best friends, and the future Marauders-- James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black, as well as a strange sort of acquaintanceship with Severus Snape over their bonding of Potions.
Through the years she would slowly get worse..until eventually surge of magic from a nightmare or a vision or holding back a trembling hand, would result in a burst of fire nearby. Her friends became aware of her situation and didn't love her any less. Just as they were supportive of Remus and his affinity as a Werewolf, they would support Victoria and try to keep the darkness from keeping hold.
Note: While I am not against connecting her with someone romantically, I do prefer that we work on their chemistry first. So let's discuss that as well if you think you might want that to be something they are involved in.
