Four fuckin days for the entire god damned month.


Four fuckin days of work for the entire fucking month.


BULLSHIT.


Didn't do two years of culinary school to get shafted into four days a month at a fucking soda shoppe that doesn't even pay me fucking minimum wage.


Fuck this shit, getting a new job. Fucking bullshit.

I know that feel, bro. I get fifteen hours a week basic rate, which I then try to fill with extra agency work which is at best, infrequent. My only solace in all that is that my employer pays substantially over the minimum wage. Good luck with the job hunting, man.

Part of the reason I quit my first (and so far, only) job last year, is because I was lucky to get four hours a week. Between that and my dad getting sicker, I decided the job wasn't worth the gas money I spent to get there, and resigned.


Also because there's a certain length of time in which if you don't work, they fire you and put you on a do-not-hire list. Resigning bypasses that, so I can reapply for a job there in the future if I need to.
