I would like to play Son Goku and am looking for someone willing to play Vegeta.
Hi! Here I am once again in a Dragon Ball mood, the fandom brain rot is real. To get the basics out of the way, I am over 18 and am only comfortable roleplaying with those also over 18. I write literate 3rd pov (I usually try to stick to past tense but my tenses be kinda wonky sometimes, whoops) and prefer at least one or two paragraphs but can write a ton more as my usual preferred style is close to novella. I can do close to canon or I can do AU. For AU I had an idea already, but I completely don’t mind brainstorming together for something else.
For my (very optional) AU idea if interested, taking inspiration from the fan-animated ‘Legend: A Dragon Ball Tale’: The righteous Saiyans of Planet Salada won when the first King Vegeta decided to side with Yamoshi due to his power, and this single action changed the course of Saiyan history.
Planet Salada was too war torn to live on, and the Saiyans left and briefly took sanctuary on Planet Tuffle, forging an alliance with the technologically advanced people. Eventually they helped the Saiyans terraform a nearby planet in the same star system and it was renamed Planet Vegeta after the royal family.
There were many years of peace as the Saiyans flourished with a fair and powerful rule as noble warrior people. Though then King Cold came and then began a war in an attempts to enslave and conquer the Saiyan people. A man who valued the old ideals of the violent Saiyans tried to use the war with cold to draw people to the ideals of their old bloodthirsty ways, his name was Paragus, he had a son— the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly who was used as a weapon of mass destruction by his father. Not only was there the beginning of a Civil War, King Cold brought his own weapon.
Frieza.
Bardock, the King’s advisor has a vision that his son, Kakarot will be the one to defeat Frieza by a form long assumed extinct since Yamoshi used it, Super Saiyan, and sends him away, securing the life of his youngest. Though unfortunately for him, their ‘savior’ hits his head and forgets all about his task— and also the fact that he was promised to Prince Vegeta.
At the 23rd Tenka-Ichi Budōkai is when Paragus and Broly find Kakarot’s hidden location on Earth and plan to exterminate him before he can even think about achieving the form.
If Broly is the one that kills Frieza, then truly the Saiyans have no choice but to accept him as their new King, yes?
