Mx.Trinity Mx.Trinity I don't disagree, but if the GM decides the RP is going to be a higher level, players need to meet that or not be able to participate. Otherwise you slow down others. I probably sound pretentious about it, but allowing in "casual" players when the expectation is "advanced" isn't fair to the players either. Why should someone putting in TONS of effort have to play with someone who can barely make a paragraph? (And, again, with this much interest, I personally think it'd be SMART to make this more exclusive.)

That all said, I--again--don't disagree with you. All the RPs I'm currently in are casual af. There's nothing wrong with it. And it's all up to the GM anyway, ofc.

I didn't know this was gonna be detailed. Lol. Sorta sucks because now I know I have to be mostly at home in order to type out posts (usually work via phone), so I can't just hash out a quick post during my breaks at work rip.

I don't think there's any confirmation that it will be detailed, don't worry.

I don't mean to be offensive but some players prefer the casual more frequent posts of an RP, I don't think shadowz1995 ever specifically mentioned it would be detailed only, and casual RP can have it's perks as well. Like more character development one on one between players, when everyone else who is writing detailed is away or busy the less busy and more casual roleplayers can have their characters talk to each other and interact with each other more.

I'm not down playing detailed roleplays either, I think theres a particular character, story, and plot device complicity that develops beautifully overtime that's rather hard to achieve with 5-6 posts a day. I myself prefer detailed but I think it's important not to exclude anyone, and more importantly that would be against the rules I believe.

Oh, of course. Perhaps my choice of words weren't very appropriate. If anyone was offended by it, I apologise. It isn't my intention to indirectly exclude anyone from this RP. As stated, the GM has not said anything that indicates this is exclusive to RPers of certain levels. I was simply stating my opinion on detailed and casual RPs/RPers.

I was just assuming it was detailed sorry guys @-@ scifi rps usually are but i dont think it will be strictly a detailed rp, cause youre right, that might lose some people

But when we were talking to him through the voice thing I think, I THINK (correct me if im wrong bae shadowz1995 shadowz1995 ) he said like 3 posts a week per person would be the minimum? Or something like that.

That and my love for detailed rps in combo with my excitement probably just jumped to it being detailed xD

Noooo what have i done, i didnt mean to discourage anyone, i was just being...Fluffy Dx idk if its officially detiled, it probably isnt i was just being a butt

It's understandable. You weren't the only one caught up in the hype ^-^""

Well I personally understand where you're coming from however after being alienated and belittled in a roleplay, even though I'm an "advanced" roleplayer really hit home. It taught me a bit of humility, and to be more humble... careful about what I say because it can always affect someone in ways that you never knew because you don't know their circumstances, or don't care.

Casual RP would still have a place (to me) in the RP, especially because this roleplay is going to be all about that 1 on 1 interaction and the development of (seemingly) not just RP relationship but a bit more, perhaps an actual online friendship to spark and create a sort of synergy between the players. At least... that was my view on it. I don't want to make anyone feel alienated by saying any of this either, sincerely. If casual and detailed is allowed I think it would be best to pair detailed players with detailed players, and casual players with casual players. So that both the rp styles can flourish in this RP with harmony, and grace.

To me... they are two different ways of playing a story, neither is above the other. However that's not to say that one doesn't take more thought or work than the other. Just to say that people have different ways of doing things. :) but you're right it is up to shadowz1995 shadowz1995 and Elephantom Elephantom and I'd like them to see this personal input because I feel it's important.

sure :3 dont see why not ^u^~
