Mara Weathers

Leon would consider his relationship with Mara to be pretty neutral. As with most of the Lucinius members, he can tolerate her presence and play nice. She has an interesting demeanor, one that Leo senses holds more emotion and depth than meets the eye on a surface level, and he can appreciate that. He likes people who don't put all of their cards out on the table upfront. At the same time, he knows that those are the people to watch because they aren't transparent; you have to put in work to figure out what their next move is.

Ojore Kante

Leo doesn't trust Ojore in the slightest. They aren't spewing hatred at each other every time that they cross paths, and in fact, both are pretty cordial to each other face to face in neutral settings... but he's an Abarra. Regardless of how well his clan does at keeping the peace with them, they're all trouble in Leo's book, and none of them can be trusted. As the ring leader of their circus, Ojore is the last person Leo would trust to keep his word for anything. The innate lack of trust allows Leo to want to blame Ojore and his crew for more than they deserve sometimes... but they earned their reputation, and so he feels that it's only a survival tactic.

e_Chris_Hemsworth_Centr_02262019-200x200.jpg
Jack King

Leo and Jack are on good terms...at least on the surface. Leo is the kind of person who never wants to have enemies, but understands that it is important to keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. He and Jack have never had any feuds or reasons to hate each other, but by nature, Leo is a cautious creature. He doesn't trust people easily, especially those of outside clans. While he doesn't think that Jack is a bad guy and will actually kick back and hang out with him from time to time, if only to keep the clans' relationships on positive terms, Jack is one that he knows to keep an eye on. He's a powerful man, both physically and politically through his clan, and Leo would prefer to use that to advantage rather than have it work against him. If the time comes where he does have to make a stance against Jack, then he at least wants them to be close enough where he has the advantage, and Jack doesn't see it coming.

Catherine Streller

After all of these years, who hasn't had an... entanglement with this impish Abarra? Catherine is no exception to Jack feeling like her clan as a whole can't be trusted, but even he would admit that sometimes temptation supersedes better judgement. If Jack underestimates anyone, it would probably be Catherine, though he doesn't see it as underestimation, since he really just thinks she's as empty-headed as she comes across as being. He sees her as easy access to insider information since she somehow knows gossip about everyone, regardless of the clan, and given that, he finds her presence to be just as useful as it is pleasurable.

thumb-193098.jpg
Dorothea Aven

Whether you like or dislike Dorothea, it's impossible to deny that she's powerful, elegant, and if you ask Leo in a moment of weakness, just about perfect. So maybe he's fantasized about ruling the vampire world with her one day... no big deal, right? Everyone has fantasies. Despite Dorothea being the biggest player who stands in his way of eventually ensuring that Ventari rules the world, he's enamored by this Lucinius vampire. He finds her to be beautiful, intelligent, and well-spoken, and his heart eyes for her probably allows him to ignore just how much of a threat she probably is. He isn't chasing her like a lost puppy, and his crush on her isn't known to the masses, but the way he approaches her and sees her certainly differs in comparison to how he views other vampires that are technically threats to them.

Adrien-Sahores.jpg
Alexandre Ancel

Leo thinks of Alexandre as being a punk. It's probably not fully deserved, as he's barely any worse than the rest of Lucinius in terms of his ego and entitlement, but still, for whatever reason, he just never liked the guy. He doesn't think of Alexandre as being much of a threat, and that's not even speaking from a condescending standpoint, as historically, Lex has never caused much of a rift in the vampire world. He would have preferred that Marcos be killed later in life, as he assumed that eventually, Lex would be groomed into the successor of the Lucinius empire given Marcos's hard-to-rationalize interest in Lex. He would have been any easy target to take down. Either way, he doesn't see Lex as being more than an annoyance, and a minor one at that. On the surface, he can play cordial with the guy, though his mere presence does rub him the wrong way sometimes.

Catherine's Relationships

Abarra

  • Ojore: Ojore plays a big brother figure to Cat that she sometimes doesn't want, but definitely needs. They sometimes have different views on what constitutes a priority, but it never aggravates Catherine quite as much as it seems to bother Ojore. Cat loves him nonetheless and does listen to him more than she would anyone else, even if that's not a 100% thing in itself.
  • Leah: Catherine and Leah are quite close, having a sister-like relationship. Leah is just as fun as Catherine is, and is always down to get into some trouble. While Cat might not understand why Leah cares so much about her business and other boring, serious things like that, she does enjoy Leah's presence and always has fun around her.
  • Khalil:
  • Angel: Angel is mean and harsh, but not in any way that is even remotely off-putting to Catherine. Somehow, she finds Angel's personality to be alluring rather than a turn off, and she considers Angel to be sister-like. Even if she doesn't take a lot of what Angel says seriously or to hard, on a more genuine note, she does think the girl is fully badass and admires how skilled she is. Catherine can fend for herself, and her managing to make it all of these centuries speaks to that, but her ability to fight, feed, and defend herself is more of a learned survival mechanism. Angel is basically a full blown ninja, and it's cool as hell.
Ventari
  • Selene: Yawn. A boring clan, led by a boring lady. Catherine and Selene may not know each other well enough on a personal level where Catherine can deservingly judge her, but she doesn't need an intimate relationship with the woman to know that she's boring and takes life too seriously.
  • Leon: He's fun to play with every now and then, but Catherine doesn't have any legitamate feelings for the blonde. His features give him a sort of boyish charm that has only grown more attractive over the years, and he keeps her entertained (and tipped well) when he comes into the club for a few drinks, so she thinks of him fondly.
  • Theodore: While many of the clans prefer to socialize within their own group, Ventari is sometimes the common ground. Catherine doesn't play politics to an extent where she cares about whether she's hanging out with Ventari or Lucinius, but she does see Theo as a friend, and him being Ventari probably makes that easier than if he were a Lucinius member. She appreciates his kind nature and finds similarity in how he can sometimes be sensitive to criticism or retribution within his own clan, as she sometimes feels that way too. She always enjoys seeing his face when she's working at Leah's place and he comes in for a few drinks.
  • Lynette
Lucinius
  • Dorothea: She's way too serious for Catherine to enjoy her presence. She's pretty looking, like a Barbie doll, but she isn't fun, so any allure to her ends at her appearance.
  • Jack:
  • Mara:
  • Lex: Lex has a pretty face, and it's hard for Cat to resist things that look nice. She and the Lucinius male have fooled around a few times, often after serving him more than a handful of drinks at Leah's club. Their interactions don't really extend beyond a surface level sexual and friendly sort of thing. Friends with benefits, though the "benefits" occur infrequently enough that Cat doesn't think of him as anything more than a friend.

Mizuki's Relationships
Lucinius:
  • Dorothea Aven (Leader):

Mizuki finds strong, independent women to be inspiring, especially since they remind her a lot of her mistress, Elenora, who saved her from her own dispair. When it comes to Dorothea, specifically, Mizuki has vowed that she would very much lay down her life for their current leader, as she would for any of those in her clan. Any of those for whom she loves deeply.

There is not a day that goes by that Mizuki is not reminded of Elenora whenever she interracts with Dorothea, which is why she's so fond of her. While the death of their previous leader affected her greatly, shaking her confidence and sense of security...Dorothea made it easy. She was kind and maternal, and they easily got along. Talking to her was just as...just as easy as breathing. She gladly would take any order, any reprimand, any comment on how to improve from this woman...especially since she secretly aspires to be her right-hand, a fact she had only ever muttered out to Gisella. Ah, but that was a far away dream, and for now she was just happy to do what she could to make Dorothea's life as easy as possible, especially with all the chaos. She didn't know if she was allowed to call herself Dorothea's friend, but Dorothea was a friend to Mizuki.

  • Gisella Lazar:

Mizuki finds Gisella to be her moon sister, since the very first day that they met one another. Despite her long travels, despite the helping hand Elenora stretched out towards her, she was missing something. Camaraderie. And, who better to understand her than her own species? When she first joined the Lucinius, she was honestly a little nervous, wondering if they might even take a liking to her...but it was Gisella who broke the ice for her, who helped her out of her shell little by little.

They bonded over their shared interests in flowers and the arts, Gisella being a great inspiration for many of her pieces. She constantly went to the woman to bounce ideas off of, and found the woman's unique perspective to be fascinating and fresh!

Mizuki views the woman with great warmth, and even sometimes asks her if she could pose for her while she dressed her up in the most unique garments she found at the local flee market. Not that she told Gisella, though. That was a secret. They'd share long talks in the evening, with Gisella downed a glass of whiskey and Mizuki a steaming cup of tea. Mizuki was happy to learn of the woman's experiences, as she would lay her head down on the table, cup nestled into her hands, while she smiled up to the vampire rather fondly. Of course, in exchange for the pleasant talks and the little photoshoots, Gisella would drag her around at night to go to parties and help her to loosen up, but of course Mizuki was more interested in filming the night life. While going out at night wasn't entirely her "cup of tea" (pun very much intended), she would happily go anywhere that would make Gisella happy.

  • Alexandre Ance:

Mizuki could easily describe her relationship with Alexandre to be a pleasant one. She didn't know if she was allowed to call him her friend, but she was certainly friendly with him. Due to them being in the same clan, they often found each other in the same room, passing by the same hallways. At first, she'd offer him a kind smile and a bow to the head before moving past him, though soon...she found that he spoke so confidently and eloquently, and he spoke of complex topics and his opinions were thought out and thorough. Overall, she was impressed, even left a little speechless. She swore she could simply listen to him all day.

Since then, she'd try to approach him and softly ask if he could shed some light on something that was mentioned in a previous meeting that she didn't entirely understand, or something that had been discussed with her with peers and she didn't feel comfortable enough providing them her opinion since she admitted she didn't know much about the topic at hand to really know what to say...so, she'd approach Alexandre the following day. She would ask him if her constant approach was bothersome and if so, then she'd respectfully back away. But, she couldn't help it. She enjoyed her talks with him. They could easily bond over their shared pet-peeve of people's ignorance and insistence of speaking when they knew nothing of whatever the topic was. Whether it be politics, arts, history, or language...

In general, she found Alexandre to be a generally calming presence and a friendly face. He was always very kind to her, and that was something she would always appreciate. Despite how she was somewhat intimidated by his knowledge, she knew she was still simply learning. Truly, they were all learned...as that was life, wasn't it? Just one...long lesson.

  • Jack King:

Since he's associated with Dorothea, plus they're part of the same clan, Mizuki finds it easy to like Jack. She likes his confidence, and she likes how clever he is. She admires him silently from a distance, and aspires to have the bond he shares with Dorothea.

They haven't shared many words, but that didn't seem necessary for them to bond and look over one another. They had these moments where they might find each other in the kitchen in the middle of the night, and Mizuki would share her snack with him, maybe even show him a funny picture to get him to smile. It was a bond without words, but Mizuki could say with confidence that she found comfort in his presence.

  • Marabelle Weathers:

Mizuki's relationship with Marabelle was a passive one, rather casual, actually. They of course knew of one another, and Mizuki was happy to greet the woman cheerfully in the mornings, offering her breakfast, even. They could bump into one another in the common area, for example, and were perfectly comfortable in each other's silences, occasionally talking about common interests here and there. It's overall very cozy and pleasant. However, they haven't had many moments where they could sit down and speak of their life's adventures, nor did the moment ever felt natural. Yet.

However, Mizuki is always itching to want to get to know the woman as she enjoys her calm, yet confident demeanor. As if she was asking to the world to give it its best shot. It helps her to be around people like Marabelle as sometimes she overworks herself a little in her own head, so being around people like that helps her take a small breath.

Ventari:
  • Selene Vulcan:

Japan has long been known for its widespread respect for its seniors and a powerful sense of obligation to care for them. These were principles Mizuki grew up with, and even in her ageless life of a vampire, she seemed to hold those values tightly. She treated anybody older than her with great respect, especially when that someone was in a position of power.

While Selene wasn't her direct leader, that did not mean that Mizuki did not view the woman as anything less than. Selene was an authoritative figure in her life and she viewed her as such. If the vampire required for her to come in fifteen minutes early to the meeting, so be it. If she needed for her to go out and get her some coffee, then she would comply happily.

Their relationship was cordial and warm, as Mizuki clearly held a deep respect for the woman and even looked up to her. She was graceful, to the point that she almost looked as if she was walking over the air itself. She was firm. She was a born leader. Mizuki hoped that she could learn a thing or two from the woman, hoping to be as confident as her and many of her other sisters...one day. For now, she was happy to listen and happy to take orders. Whatever was needed to achieve peace...right?

  • Theodore Griffith:

Mizuki finds Theodore to be impressive, overall. He's well-known in the creative community, and when she learned that he was part of the Ventari clan, she was ecstatic to find that they had something in common! Gasp! Maybe she could even meet him and, dare she say...talk to him? She was honestly a little nervous the first time she met him during one of their meetings, watching him from a distance and finding that he had impressive bone structure. He was nothing like she would have imagined, yet at the same time...he was exactly who she imagined as she read through his articles and journals. She'd always wonder if she could offer her services to him, offer to take pictures for his journalism. But, ah...did he recognize her work? Would he even want her to do that for him? She wasn't sure. Her main focus was fashion photography, but after forty years honing her skills, she wanted to insist that she could do anything. She could even present to him a portfolio for him to skim through. She'd get a little flustered trying to come up with new topic ideas to bring up around him, hoping to impress him. But, ah...it seemed like that wasn't necessary. He noticed how nervous she was, he noticed that she had her eyes on him all night and he approached her. He was so kind, and if she had a proper working heart she'd be all blushes. But, for now, she was all laughter and smiles as she insisted that it was honor to meet him and that she had been following his work for a long time now. He stated that he was writing an article about new costumes for the most recent showing of the ballet, and she was more than happy to accept his work.

Since then, it seemed that they constantly bumped into each other, and occasionally they would invite one another to a watch a play together, or meet up to talk about the most up and coming and mainstream trends currently floating around the New York artistic scene. Sometimes even recommending one another for jobs and temporary positions, sometimes even informing Theo of a potentially interesting article he could write about. Ah, but it was purely work...Overall, she's infatuated and could be considered one of his biggest fans. Their relationship could be described as being friendly acquaintances, maybe even friends in the same line of work. But, she'd never dare call herself his friend, never make such an assumption. So, for now...she admired him from afar, hoping one day he'd accept her offer of being her muse...

...though, even she doesn't know that she confuses her feelings of admiration...for something a little deeper. Ah, but she would never dare to allow herself to think in such a way...

  • Leon Wulff:
  • Lynette Carver:

They haven't shared an actual conversation, but Mizuki is aware of who she is. From what she has generally heard of the woman, she very much looks forward to a proper conversation with her. She was her sister, afterall, and Mizuki loved all of her sisters.
Abarra:
  • Ojore Kante:

Mizuki understands why the other clans might look to them with slight contempt, even though it's not something she has ever voiced outloud. She understands why Ojore, another clan leader, would keep his distance from those who weren't the leader directly. She respectfully keeps his distance for him, but does make it known through actions that she very much respects him as a leader, as she does with Selene and Dorothea. They were all children of the moon, and she knew her place. Ojore is a leader, no matter what, meaning that he is her superior yes or yes. Of course, his word will never go over Dorothea's, but if he were to ask her for a favor she would gladly oblige.

While they haven't shared many interactions or words, Ojore has a lot of respectable qualities that Mizuki overall would admire and she would see them bleed through with ease whenever he visited. On every visit of his, if she was present, she would kindly offer him something to drink obefore retiring herself with a slight bow to her head.
  • Legia Reina Pรฉrez Florido (Leah):

Mizuki wouldn't necessarily call her a friend, maybe not even an acquaintance...but, she does get a little excited every time she sees Leah lurking the exhibition halls in the most popular art gallery in the moment.
Mizuki was known for her people watching, and has potentially been caught a few times here and there. People could probably assume she was a simple air-head, maybe even a creep...but what could she say when she was just so enamored by the human figure? And, Leah...Leah was beautiful, confident, and a total badass! The way she strode down the halls as if the world belonged to her was something Mizuki admired from afar, since it wasn't necessarily a trait she had herself. Ah, how the young vampire silently gushed over Leah.
One of her biggest accomplishments was even finding Leah in one of her exhibitions! It was an honor! She took this moment to finally approach her as the woman stopped in front of one of her many pieces...silently handing her the brochure for her exhibition.

Since then, it wasn't strange to occasionally find the two drifting towards one another when they found themselves in the same room, meeting halfway to provide their own perspectives over someone else's work. They've thrown opinions here and there, maybe even finding they shared conflicting views to the point where Leah would roll her eyes and walk away...but that only made Mizuki smile and cheekily wave to the vampire with the promise to see her at the next gallery!
She always wished the woman well, and when finding that she too was one of them, that they even found each other bumping into one another during meetings, well...she'd nod her head in respect and acknowledgement, smiling to her, before walking past one another. She's heard the rumors about the woman, she's come to learn her likings and despite how different they were from one another...Mizuki simply held respect for her. Hey, who was she to judge someone else? That was up to the gods. She, on the other hand...was just here to have a good time and wish her sisters well.

  • Catherine Streller:

Catherine was a funny one for Mizuki, someone she didn't entirely understand, but she didn't discourage a friendship with her, either. At first, like with all the other gorgeous vampires Mizuki was constantly surrounded with, she silently appreciated the woman's stunning looks and beautiful bone structure.

They mostly met within meetings they had with each other's clans, and their interactions were normally limited, but...there was something unique between the two women and how they interacted. Catherine always seemed to try and get a rise out of her through teasings and criticism. However, due to Mizuki's gullible nature, she simply took the woman's remarks at face value and would laugh them off. She always tried to be kind to the woman, which probably received odd looks from her clan mates and those she called friends. Maybe even from Catherine herself. They might call her dumb, they might call her innocent...but Mizuki generally found the woman rather humorous. So, while they were barely acquaintances, like with everyone else...Mizuki was hoping for at least a pleasant professional relationship with her.

  • Angelique Joseph:
  • Khalil:

Mizuki knows of Khalil, and it could be safe to say that they are acquaintances, but nothing has developed since then. They haven't interacted much, but from what she's heard about Khalil here and there, she had to admit that it did make her a little nervous or apprehensive to approach him, worries she might say the wrong thing and offend him. The small interractions that they have had, though, left Mizuki a little nervous and wondering if she made a good impression.

Character Relationships | Theodore Griffith

Lucinius
  • Dorothea Aven: After repeated failed attempts to reach out to Dorothea in order to speak about inter clan issues, Theodore has less than a positive impression of the future Lucinius leader. He's lucky to get even five seconds of her time before she brushes him off, most of the time he gets no response at all. She doesn't take him seriously, being one of the youngest vampires within the clans. Although the odds aren't likely, Theo still tries to break through her wall to prove himself as a capable mediator.
  • Gisella Lazar: Gisella and Theodore have similar tastes when it comes to luxury and have no qualms indulging in the many things that luxury entails. He's seen her about in many of the high end areas or parties he stops in from time to time, and she's always caught his eye. Theo was naturally drawn to Gisella's classic beauty and well refined poise. Her interest seemed to be a prize worth winning, even if just for the feel of living in a dramatic narrative. He tends to mold his charm around Gisella's established preferences, appearing more likened to the romantic character of Romeo than his typical tragic Dracula. Whether his attraction is purely for literary means or grounded in something deeper, Theo doesn't know yet. Their relationship hasn't gone farther than the occasional stop by chat or lavish dinner.
  • Mizuki Chiba: Having met strictly through professional means, Theo considers Mizuki a work acquaintance, possibly even a friend. Previously familiar with her appearance from making his runs to Lucinius for clan business, it was easy to spot her roaming the same streets of New York that he does. As of now, they mostly chat about objective things such as work and the current creative trends, yet she always leaves a positive impression on him after he leaves. Theo has invited her out to several plays and ballets, happy to be able to share his love for the arts with another. He's noticed that she gets quite shy and flustered around him, so he adjusts his personality to come across as more welcoming in the hopes that eventually she will become comfortable with him. Theo has noticed that when with her, many of his more troublesome personality traits and worries become soothed. As a way to hopefully prove his friendliness, he always recommends her first to people in his network as a talented photographer.
  • Alexandre Ancel: Acquainted but unfamiliar.
  • Jack King: Acquainted but unfamiliar.
  • Marabelle Weathers: Theodore has seen Marabelle many times within the small world of New York City that was known only to Vampires. His experiences with her have been positive, but shallow. He hasn't had a proper conversation with her other than general small talk about the weather and popular culture. Nonetheless, Theodore thoroughly enjoys his time with Marabelle, finding no faults in her character when put with his own.

Ventari
  • Selene Vulcan: Theo admires Seleneโ€™s forthright attitude and ability to get the things she needs done, done. Although occasionally intimidated by her strict ruling of the clan (sheโ€™s definitely made him cry on more occasions than heโ€™d like to admit), heโ€™s always aiming to please her and increase his own usefulness and status. Sharing similar traits, they tend to bicker at times, but his loyalty to her will always remain true. Out of everyone in his clan, Theo remains closest to Selene. She lifted him up from the trauma of having greedily killed a human and the fear of falling victim once more to that insatiable bloodlust. She taught him everything he knows on how to control his instincts, serving as the sole guiding force in his new life. Theo wouldn't know what to do without her.
  • Leon Wulff: Theo sees him around the Ventari clan quite often, but theyโ€™re not really acquainted well. Leon comes across as very protective to the clan members, which Theo can respect.
  • Lynette Carver: Theo doesnโ€™t really know what to call Lynn. A friend? A lover? An ex? Something and nothing of all three would be better suited. If found at the right time and the right place they may fool around, but any semblance of a romantic relationship ends there. If theyโ€™re around each other for too long, the situation becomes toxic, bringing out the selfish, manipulating qualities lying within them both. The relationship has its ups and downs, but when the dust settles, he would probably label her as a friend.

Abarra
  • Ojore Kante: Theo enjoys his time with the bold Abarra leader. Unlike other clan leaders (who Theo will not name), Ojore sits down and listens to many of the things Theo has to say, usually over drinks. He respects Ojore's loyalty to his clan and his protective nature, turning a blind eye to some of the activity Ojore seems to let run among his clan members. Theo matches his positive and upbeat demeanor when he is with him. He feels energized around the leader and it inspires him.
  • Legia Reina Pรฉrez Florido: Theo and Leah are....less than friendly. After witnessing her embrace her primal instincts in a way that he swore to never relive, his first impression of her was less than stellar. Over the years, Leahโ€™s flippant attitude towards human lives and overly indulgent behavior continued to feed the pit of dislike deep in his chest, until it evolved to what it is now, a cold apathetic distaste. He will never admit it to himself, but part of that dislike stems from his unresolved feelings for Celeste. Leah loves pushing his buttons when heโ€™s around for business with the Ventari, and he knows it. The two take frequent jabs, but he ensures to keep his dipped in honey to avoid any inter clan conflict.
  • Catherine Streller: Being one of the more subdued Abarra members, Theo considers Cat a good friend and a great ear. He often visits her bar to drink and talk about problems within their respective clans. He finds comfort in their mutual relationship of confiding in one another.
  • Angel Adair: Acquainted but unfamiliar.
  • Khalil: Theodore has fleeting feelings about the confusing Abarra member. From the moment they met, even with no specific interactions between them, there was a sense of avoidance and hesitation. Like two magnets repelled away from each other by an invisible force, Khalil and Theo typically find ways to avoid interacting with each other.

The Lucinius Clan
  • Dorothea Aven: Even while Marcos was in power, it seemed like everyone respected Dorothea as a near equal in terms of power and authority. She wasn't attempting to be their leader and never ordered anyone around, but she just presents herself in a way that is so well-collected and informed, that the respect comes with it naturally. Lex thinks of her as being incredibly intelligent, but sometimes quite hard to read, which can be frustrating at times, as he doesn't like being left in the dark. Dory plays something of an older sister role to him though, so they are close, and he does care for her a lot.
  • Jack King: Lex and Jack get along pretty well. They're different when it comes to interests and the way that they approach problems, but Lex respects Jack at the same time, for being able to handle things in the way that he does. He's a necessary part of their clan, and if if it ever came down to it, he would probably trust his life in Jack's hands/protection more than he would anyone else.
  • Mizuki Chiba: Mizuki is a really nice girl, and her sweetness makes it hard for Lex to understand how anyone could dislike her. He appreciates that she's passionate about the things that she loves, and that she likes learning new things. She has always come across as being very genuine to him, which is rare enough in the world that it deserves credit in itself nowadays.

The Ventari Clan
  • Leon Wulff: Lex feels pretty indifferently about Leo. He doesn't hold any strong anti-Ventari feelings to begin with, so he feels neither love nor hatred for Leo. He just kind of exists... and that's that. If they encounter one another, Lex isn't above a 'hello', but he would also never go out of his way to act all buddy-buddy with him.

The Abarra Clan

Ojore's Relationships
Abarra: Ojore is the leader of the Abarra clan, so naturally, its members are family to him. Though some of him are skilled at being nuisances to a point where even they can push his buttons, he's a ride or die type, and would gladly go to war for any of them. He doesn't think that people realize how difficult it is to lead a clan that doesn't fit into the system that they've got set up right now. He doesn't like the idea of having to live in the shadows of the human world any more than they do, but he also doesn't think they're prepared for a war. Not yet, at least.
  • Leah: She's typical Abarra material: a lot of fun, very wild, and sometimes unpredictable. Leah has a lot of energy in her and though she tends to use it for less than pure purposes, that doesn't really bother Ojore. He's no saint, himself. She knows how to push Ojore's buttons and yeah, sometimes she rubs him the wrong way because of that, but he knows that it's in good fun, so he doesn't think of her any less because of it.
  • Catherine: Catherine is the annoying little sister that Ojore never had... and also the one that he never wanted, or needed (at least as he claims). She's just as "bad" as the rest of the crew, but Catherine is unique because of her whimsical personality. She's quirky and absentminded at best, and sometimes it's hard to tell if she's intentionally being troublesome or not, just because she knows how to play the dumb card and have people think she's too innocent to do as much bad as she is capable of doing. Her laziness and irresponsibility has caused Ojore headaches in the past, and while she is still lovable, he wishes that she would get her shit together most of the time. She's the only vampire he's ever met who's maintained such a fascination with human culture, and yet wanted to get rid of them at the same time.
  • Khalil:
  • Angel:
Ventari: The Ventari clan is alright in Ojore's book. They aren't anything super special, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. He doesn't detest them in the way that he detests Lucinius, and he understands that they prefer to play middle ground and keep the peace. If it ever came time for war though, he would expect them to side with Abarra, because he's bit his tongue more times than he can count, as per their request, just to keep the peace.
  • Selene:
  • Theodore: The kid's okay. He's such a young vampire that it's hard to see him as anything other than an ignorant kid, but Ojore humors him from time to time with conversation, as it seems like his clan is trying to train him on being some sort of diplomat. He's an alright guy, nothing to write home about, but also pleasant enough that Ojore doesn't mind sitting down with him to talk when he has the time.
  • Lynette:
  • Leon: Eh, he's alright. Ojore doesn't think too much about Leo, as he's pretty much a behind-the-scenes dude of Ventari, but he doesn't feel like he has any reason to despise him.
Lucinius: They're pathetic frauds. They want to play the role of the hero, protecting the humans for god knows what reason, all while being just as true to their primal instincts as the rest of the clans. Ojore can't stand a fool who thinks 'rules are for thee, not me' and they're the textbook definition of that. He doesn't trust any of them, not a single one, and he's sick of them walking around thinking they have any sort of power or control over him and his clan. If you ask Ojore, it was only a matter of time before their leader, Marcos, lost his head. Walk around with all that bark, and you better got the bite to prove it, but unsurprisingly, he didn't.

SELENE'S RELATIONSHIP LIST

  • Lucinius leader (the likely successor): Dorothea Aven (female) electric electric -- It's crazy to say this but Selene finds herself shocked that Dorothea is a bit like her in some ways, and for some reason, Selene has avoided all if not any contact with Dorothea because she feels as though there is something about her that she just can't put her hand on. Selene might butt heads with her or they might be the most unlikely friends in the future.

  • Lucinius clan member: Gisella Lazar (female) diwa diwa

  • Lucinius clan member: Mizuki Chiba (female) Razvi-sama Razvi-sama -- Even though Mizuki is in a different clan then Selene's, she is surprised that Mizuki gives her the upmost respect when in her presence. Selene likes that Mizuki talks to her with respect and Selene is never in an argument with Mizuki (unlike a certain someone in Selene's clan). Selene likes Mizuki's nature and style, and especially since she is in the Lucinius clan, which is kind of like the Venturi clan when it comes to trying to have a balanced coexistence between the humans and vampires.

  • Lucinius clan member: Marabelle Weathers (female) cure cure -- Selene views Marabelle as an interesting character and definitely one that she will keep a close eye on. Especially since the death of their leader, Selene wants to make sure not to get too close to anyone from that clan, not knowing for sure what went down. Though Selene likes how reserved Marabelle is, and hasn't really heard anything about her swarming around from clan to clan.

  • Ventari clan member: Theodore Griffith (male) Pepsionne Pepsionne -- Selene and Theodore's relationship is quite interesting, and the reason for that is because Selene sees Theodore as a brother to her or at least family. The reason behind this is because when she found Theodore, he was fighting a bloodlust that nearly consumed him and she knew exactly what that felt like, especially because Theodore was still broken and vengeful of how Celeste, his sire, left him there to navigate through his new life. Selene first helped him get over his bloodlust, and in doing so, it brought the two closer together. Often times, Selene is annoyed with Theodore because he follows her around the clan, and the two of them are usually caught bicker or Theodore is on the verge of being emotional due to what Selene had said to him. Though the two of them get along just fine, and Theodore and Lynn are the only two that she is close with, that she sees as family. It took her a while to open up to the two of them, but some can say that Selene still has a heart. Theodore and Selene's relationship is in good standing for now, but there are secrets Selene is keeping from Theodore.

  • Ventari clan member: Leon Wulff (male) starstruck starstruck

  • Abarra leader: Ojore Kante (male) electric electric -- Selene and Ojore probably have the same number of men they've killed throughout their years. Ojore has an aura of authority within him that Selene likes since she loves a strong leader to guide their clan. Selene has had interactions with Ojore, and he seems alright to her, though the only thing that she wouldn't like about him is how he tends to control the conversation and steer it in a different direction. Selene often times get frustrated when he does so, but she doesn't show it and tries to be civil about it.

  • Abarra clan member: Legia Reina Pรฉrez Florido (female) Girl2Fine2 Girl2Fine2 -- Selene and Leah (Legia) have had some encounters and what Selene can say about this girl is that she is quite the flirt and is always finding an excuse to speak to Selene, even if it's about the smallest of things. Selene tries to not give her too much satisfaction, so she tries not to feed into the game that Leah is playing. The reason why Selene might be moving away from Leah is that she sees herself in Leah when she was just a fresh newbie at this whole vampire thing and would lure men to their demise. Girls like Leah love to play around, unlike Selene where she plays, but the game is quickly cut short with blood-stained sheets.

  • Abarra clan member: Catherine Streller (female) A_Writer A_Writer -- Catherine in Selene's eyes is someone she would describe as the most carefree vampire she has ever seen. Selene knows that there are two different kinds of carefree vampires; the ones that have no humanity left in them and so they just do as they please and don't care who they hurt. Then there are carefree vampires like Catherine who sees the little things in life and doesn't seem to let anything bother her. Selene sees Catherine as the humanity that every vampire should need in them, but just the thought of it makes her get goosebumps. Selene has never talked to Catherine, though she can say that she has overheard her chatting about some ideas of crafts or businesses. Selene definitely sees Catherine as having some kind of potential though Selene criticizes her for not going after those dreams/ideas. Selene despises an unmotivated female, especially one that has no drive to finish what she has started.

Lucinius

Alexandre Ancel

Dorothea Aven - Utmost respect, thatโ€™s how she views Dorothea. Gisella thinks of her as somewhat of a role model because of her standing. If she is what Gisella think she is, then her loyalty is within her and the coven. She values her take on life seeing that she is older than her. It can be said that whenever Gisella is troubled, there's a high chance that she seeks her guidance and opinion.

Jack King - Lovely and a very jovial man. Gisella highly reckon that he compliments the attitude of beautiful Dory. Heโ€™s not exactly exuding paternal instincts, but heโ€™s a reliable friend and someone she can depend on to.

Marabelle Weathers

Mizuki Chiba - Her relationship with Mizuki is great even from the start. Gisella is older and far more outgoing than her that she figured itโ€™s her job to bring Mizuki out from her introverted self. She finds her endearing and lovely, and her company is one of the things sheโ€™s looking forward to at the end of the day. Of course, it helps that Mizuki is a very doting and affectionate friend that she lets Gisella vent her woes of the day. She sees her as an innocent and gullible being that protecting her is part of her instincts.

Ventari
Leon Wulff

Selene Vulcan - Thereโ€™s nothing but pure respect and civility between them. Selene is a ruthless woman but Gisella understand whereโ€™s sheโ€™s coming from. Experiences made them hard and cold as a rock, though sometimes some people or vampires are just plain dicks and abhorrent beings.

Theodore Griffith - Gisella finds the young man charming and articulate. For someone who belongs to a different coven, she truly enjoys his refreshing company and finds him very endearing and lovely especially that he matches her wits and tastes about arts, society and the finer things in life. Suffice to say the girl is slightly intrigue with the said vampire and she thinks spending time with him is worth her day.

Abarra
Ojore Kante - no interaction has even occurred between them but according from Gisella's sources, Ojore can be tenacious when it comes to the people outside his coven.

Legia Reina Pรฉrez Florido
Catherine Streller
