So, yes. I do realize that I am currently idea dumping on this site, but I am simply itching for a good roleplay.
A little bit about myself: I'm a 19 year old female, I prefer to go by she/her. I'm mostly looking for people who are comfortable with playing male characters. Your gender does not matter to me, but I would prefer it if you were over 18. I am usually a pretty active writer and I realize that my preferred method of roleplaying can be a bit different. I like exchanging multiple (shorter) replies during the day, when it is possible of course. I do not expect people to be free all day every day. My responses are usually around 6000-12000 characters, though of course that depends on the scene. Sometimes there is only so much one can write.
Now that you know a bit about me and my preferences, we can move over the the vague excuse of a plot:
This roleplay would be set in a large city, perhaps a capital of some sorts. It can be fictional or based on a real life city, you decide. Under the mortal human's eyes this very city would be managed by darker, more sinister creatures. Our creatures… or rather Vampires would be split into two groups. The Pure ones and The Primitive ones.
The Pure group have long ago left their predatory behaviors behind, learning how to survive without draining the blood of humans. They see themselves as the higher-ups, the superior group, though they do not think that humans are below them. They take on the jobs of politicians, doctors, business men, and so on. They have the most control over the wealthy parts of the capital, thriving in the riches.
The Primitive group could be described as a near opposite of the Pure ones. They look at themselves as the ultimate life-form. Unlike the previously mentioned group, The Primitive ones still hunt humans, mostly for food, though some do find pleasure in ruthless killing. This group thrives in the more run down parts of town, priding themselves on their rugged and tough demeanor. They are responsible for the town's casinos, bars, black market and so on.
The two groups manage to keep peace between one another by having clear borders in the capital. The different parts of town have different laws and permits, one of the most important rules being “No feeding in The Pure zones.”
Then we finally come to our two characters. I’d like them to be from different groups, so that there is plenty of drama and tension in the roleplay. How they meet and why they stick together is what I would like to brainstorm with you!
