LORE WIKI
Welcome to the Valorous Order wiki!
Valorous Order is a long-term series of science-fantasy and action genre roleplays, created by Serobliss in October 2018, and has been put forth into action as an official roleplay series on RPN on April 21, 2021. While Valorous Order may seem straightforward in its roleplay descriptions, the series is rather convoluted as it covers a multitude of arcs and consists of intricate, expansive lore that is to be revealed throughout the roleplay.

Valorous Order provides a one-character limit for main characters in one roleplay, and the roleplay is fixed on a particular story/genre. However, the GMs provide context clues with their posts in order to guide the players along, and the players are also welcome to create side scenes with other characters within the Discord thread. Additionally, the Registration thread is permanently open, allowing for those who show interest in the roleplay to create a character if they so wish, though the application will remain pending until approved by a GM.

OVERVIEW
The galactic superpower known as the Empyrian Empire, more commonly known as “Empyria” stands fierce in the year 709 of the empire calendar, located within the sixth of the seven realms that make up the universe. The empire reigns supreme dominance over a single exoplanet located in the Milky Way, named “Agartha” by its founder, Eleanor Priscilla Ophelia. Along with its homeworld, the empire exercises sovereignty over its multiple moons and other planets that are located outside the Empyrian space, such as the Vecturias Kingdom and the Eldrion Dominion, two former mighty nations that sold their loyalty in exchange for Empyria’s military assistance. The supreme power of the Empyrian Empire exceeds even its intergalactic reputation, considered by many to be the ideal civilization built by survivors of tyrants. The legend of the empire’s founding empress remains to be influential on a universal level.

Besides the unadulterated strength of the Imperial Armed Forces, the domain is well-known for another reason, the remarkable Vicarius energy that exclusively originated from the core of Agartha. The energy is far above valuable and rare, in addition to it being renewable. Due to its versatile status, the energy can be used for powering devastating weapons and grand space crafts, making it one of the most demanded resources from the outside world that looks to replicate the source, though such attempts have resulted in massive failures. The Empyrian Empire utilizes their Vicarius energy for nearly everything, powering their massive chain of civilizations and deploying weapons of mass destruction to defend itself from unknown threats, as it is the primary target for many dominion and factions that may look to jeopardize the peace of Empyria for the sake of their own stolen prosperity.

The world is divided into twelve autonomous provinces, under the supreme authority of the royal House Ophelia. Each of the twelve provinces exercises their own local government system that abides by the constitution of the Aeterna Imperium, the absolute law of the empire written by the Founder. Those who have proven their worth and swore their unremitting loyalty to the crown are rewarded with the title of “Collbrande of Ophelia”, a group of twelve powerful individuals that rule and regulate the provinces in the stead of the ruler, protecting the interests of Empyria until the end of their days. Those who have been granted this title have full executive control over the government of the province they hail from, though limited due to the constitution. The Collbrandes are the most politically powerful group of people in the entirety of the Empyrian Empire, their command just below the seat of the throne.

However, while they remain to utilize legal control over the provinces that make up the empire, another triumvirate group exists above the Collbrandes, known as the Cardinal Caliburn Order, the immortal pillars of global stabilization that exists to keep the power divided between the people and the crown. As a triumvirate, each of the three members are inherently immortal by nature, purely ageless. Each member symbolizes the ternary principle integrated into the heart of Empyria: Valor, Revelation, and Divinity. These principles epitomizes the empire’s greatest assets, with Valor highlighting the formidable might of the Imperial Army, Revelation representing the unrelenting thirst for astronomical knowledge, and Divinity promoting the clarity and prosperity of the people. These three principles lay the foundation of Empyria, with its members symbolizing them for all of eternity, until the end of the empire.

DESCRIPTION
The vast history of Forged Destiny hints that the origin of the sword dates back thousands of years before the establishment of Empyria. It is among the seven legendary swords of Empyria, also known as the Astarte Collection, and is ranked 4th on the list in terms of power. It was formerly wielded by Siegfried before she passed her heirloom down to her daughter, Karvein Ouroboros where she uses its blade to continue its prolonged legacy.
ABILITIES
The Forged Destiny is a sword imbued with the blood of the Ouroboros that could slay non-draconic organisms with its high corruptible incarce. The wielder is naturally immune to its poison, whether or not they hold the blood related to the Infinity Dragon.

Intertwined Fates: As The Forged Destiny possesses a consciousness of its own, this ability allows for the incarce of the sword and the incarce of its wielder to become one. The brand allows for its incarce to befit the affinities of its master and vice versa. The incarce that is imbued within the blade determines the degree of its resolve to attain victory by any means possible. The more frequently the incarce is distributed between the sword and the swordsman, the more memories become shared between the two, meaning that while the user obtains the history of its previous wielders, the sword collects the memories of its current master. As a result, some of its previous wielders have become allegedly insane from stress and overload of information.

Sophistication: This passive ability causes the user of The Forged Destiny to see the world in a different color over time. For example, when the user sees something that is blue, they associate the color with its metaphorical representations and become reminded of how melancholy the world is. “Sophistication” leads to the development of imposter syndrome, in which the current user of The Forged Destiny remembers previous users’ life experiences as their own. Due to these two developed mindsets, the wielders of the blade tend to become natural sociopaths. In this case, they typically hyperfocus on how a situation could provide them the ultimate upper hand and cause them to rise as the victor. The effects of “Sophistication” permeate the mind of the wielder over the course of a millennium. Karvein, the current and fifth successor of the sword, has only experienced 200 years of its effects, yet it is enough for her to understand the bane of wielding the sword. However, as she is completely absorbed by The Forged Destiny, she is unable to detach herself from it.

Eternal Athanasia: As is stated in its name, the Eternal Athanasia grants those who were once mortals immortality, while those who were immortal previous to obtaining the sword remain immortal. In order for this immortality to be maintained, there is a condition that must be met, which is to maintain one’s resolve. If the user is completely rid of their resolve, then they shall be rid of their immortality as well. This being said, mortals would die immediately after being stripped of their immortality, while immortals would remain immortal, but the memories they obtained from the sword would stay in their minds indefinitely.

The key to the immortality of the Eternal Athanasia lies between the user’s lungs, in the form of a crystalline pearl stored in a newly formed organ. If one were to stab through one’s chest and crack the pearl, they would perish immediately, regardless of immortality status. When this occurs, the ownership of the sword becomes lost and thus must be transferred to a new host.
