General Description
About the Character
Sertoria Feuersturm, while often confused as the chief mastermind of the notorious Arcalion Syndicate, is actually one of its founding members and the de facto leader of another group, called the Golden Path Organization, an Elesrith terrorist organization aimed towards dismantling the aristocracy in the province. Possessing a plethora of exceptional skills, she is considered a highly competent individual with the prowess of an elite operator, despite never having served in the Imperial Army. As the Arcalion Syndicate's public figurehead, Sertoria often dons a disguise to cover for Corvus, ensuring that he remains an anonymous criminal in the eyes of the Imperial Security Directorate. Her sharp, perceptive persona exudes a natural aura of leadership, and as such, the entirety of the Arcalion Syndicate, along with its subsidiaries, views her as the genuine leader of the organization.

Sertoria's debilitating condition of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder is a source of great concern for her associates. Often triggered by memories of her childhood aspirations to become a Collbrande - a powerful imperial protector - she displays tendencies of paranoia and psychosis, raising fears within the upper echelons of the Golden Path Organization that she may bring the syndicate to its ruin. Nevertheless, Sertoria has demonstrated sufficient control over her unusual conduct, earning Corvus's trust in delegating crucial responsibilities to her, which she executes with effectiveness.

Sertoria is a strikingly confident individual who exudes a strong sense of independence. While not the founding member of the Golden Path Organization, her unwavering personality and dedication revitalized the former far-left militant group. Her persuasive words had a profound impact on multiple political parties, causing them to reevaluate their outlooks and adopt her agendas. This behavior did not go unnoticed by the Arcalion Syndicate, who offered her a chance to join their ranks. Sertoria, however, refused without hesitation, recognizing that their goals did not align with her own objectives. Her resolute commitment to her principles compelled the syndicate to organize a deal, which Sertoria accepted only after ensuring that the terms aligned with her values.

When a bout of her mental disorder strikes, Sertoria transforms into a ruthless figure at her core. Her followers are reduced to mere pawns in her eyes, dispensable resources that she positions with calculated precision, prepared to sacrifice her most loyal soldiers at a moment's notice to maintain her sanity. In these moments, she becomes an obsessive perfectionist, with little regard for the practicality of her plans. Her primary concern is her own reputation, as she envisions herself as the perfect leader, determined to become the idealized version of herself that exists only in her mind. Strangely enough, her disorder seems to imbue her with a heightened sense of animation, injecting her normally expressionless face with a depth of emotion that is captivating to behold.
Exousiarch
Ephemeral Ashes - Phase 5
From birth, Sertoria possessed an ultimate-class Exousiarch inherited from her House Feuersturm lineage. The Feuersturms are renowned for their mastery of kinetic fire control, and Sertoria was no exception. Her Exousiarch, Ephemeral Ashes, grants her the ability to summon a powerful, sentient phoenix from her left arm. The phoenix, which behaves majestically and seemingly of its own volition, serves as Sertoria's loyal familiar. Made entirely of empyromantic flames, it ignites anything it touches, save for its talons.

Sertoria commands her phoenix with precision, often directing it to launch aerial assaults against hostiles and unleashing devastating anti-material flame strikes. This incredible power earned her the moniker "Phoenix of Ignitus," which has become synonymous with her fearsome reputation. While the phoenix cannot be killed, it can be contained, making it a powerful asset in Sertoria's arsenal. Her control over this mythical creature is a testament to her unwavering discipline and mastery of her Exousiarch.

In addition to its empyromantic capabilities, the phoenix also possesses a destructive potential that can cause widespread devastation. Following its summoning for an extended duration of approximately fifteen minutes, the magical bird begins to overheat, leading to the expansion of its internal organs that now contain an immense amount of heat. Consequently, the phoenix grows in size and scope, augmenting the potency of its attack over time. Once it reaches the dimensions of a fully grown pterodactyl, it can no longer contain the tremendous heat and takes to the skies, awaiting Sertoria's orders to unleash its deadly strike upon the targeted area. The sheer force of this explosive assault has the potential to lay waste to entire cities and ignite surrounding regions. However, the cost of utilizing this ability is steep, as Sertoria is unable to summon her sentient phoenix for the next twenty-four hours.
Background
Character Backstory
Sertoria is the disastrous product of a noble family attempting to usurp the throne through unorthodox means. Born and raised on the outskirts of Sanguinum, she was the seventh child of the noble Feuersturm household – a family of megalomaniacs obsessed with their authority. Her egoistic grandfather was the center of the disease, passing down his narcissistic demeanor to the young bloods, shortly after the death of his sons at the hands of the Rythen Empire during the War on Raignork. Sertoria was the last of the children that her father left behind before being conscripted into military service, being ordered to be on the frontline of the war zone along with her siblings. However, that ultimately led to the death of the middle-aged heir to Feuersturm, leaving his children to succeed their grandfather who currently held the position of head. Sertoria’s early childhood was considered normal for a nobility, being taken into private schools to conduct her education while training to become an eloquent woman.

At the age of 13, without warning, Sertoria and her siblings were deliberately pulled out from their education and were forced into harsh military training from their own grandfather within their own land. The estate they lived in eventually became a battlefield on its own, as her grandfather’s verbal teaching began to manipulate the mindset of his grandchildren, as over time they began to grow more violent towards their siblings to the point of physical harm. All to strengthen the blood of House Feuersturm, her grandfather went to extreme measures to make certain that one of his grandchildren would one day conquer the seat of Collbrande, efficiently retaking the control of Sanguinum – as House Feuersturm were the pioneers of the province, formerly holding the seat of Collbrande for three generations before being denounced of their position by Emperor Xathaniel after being overpowered by House Vamperius. The Feuersturms became increasingly more violent over time, her grandfather being the prime example of the hundreds of years of petty conflict between two noble houses.

Overtime, Sertoria began to understand her situation for the better. From the wishful authoritarian of her grandfather to her siblings that were slowly becoming more influenced by their caretaker’s words, the entire household suffered for years before an incident occurred, where her elder brothers began striking bounties on each other’s heads, wanting the heir title no matter the cost. This action eventually garnered the attention of their grandfather, as they praised them for their will to conquer the round table, believing that they would one day take the Collbrande seat back from House Vamperius. However, Sertoria’s grandfather began day dreaming the impossible, as his delirious fantasies began to expand towards the horizons of the unreachable, claiming that he was distressed with the capabilities of the royal house – especially after the fiasco behind House Ophelia’s massacre a few years ago, where Aeryn Kure Ophelia usurped the throne through violently slaughtering the entire remaining bloodline.

These ambitions grew exceedingly more powerful as he disregarded the younger children, denouncing them of their family title including Sertoria. This was especially done after she and her older siblings were forced into illegal incarce surgeries to operate the linings of her magical circuits, to more competently cast spells without having to resort to countless hours of magic training. The amount of pain that she went through would cause multiple psychological damages to her mentality, later being diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive personality disorder from her grandfather’s training, attempting to shape his grandchildren into perfectionists. This would later infuse with her childhood goal of becoming a Collbrande prior to her grandfather’s interference in accelerating that objective, further traumatizing her as she forgot the reason behind her childhood dream. Sertoria became paranoid overtime behind her own existence as her grandfather scolded her for being weak and worthless, despite owning a powerful Exousiarch.

Around the year 702 at the age of 18, the Sanguinum province became the center of attention of the global news. It was later confirmed by the Imperial Army that Sertoria’s father was murdered by his own brother during the final phase of the war, as the former initially survived the conflict with minor injuries, but was later missing after the drop of the nuclear warhead on Raignork. He was presumably considered KIA before the Imperial Army further investigated the situation, until later providing evidence that his own brethren slaughtered him. This investigation in particular was private until the suspect pleaded guilty, earning the death sentence straight from the Sovereign General instead of the monarch. The execution of the death row inmate was later publicized by the imperial news network, where the perpetrator admitted to being guilty behind his own brother’s murder, while also blaming the head of House Feuersturm for his malicious intentions. The Collbrande of Sanguinum later launched an investigation to House Feuersturm, later convicting Ezekiel Feuersturm for conspiracy and abuse of children.

While the house survived after his incarceration, Sertoria – after learning the truth behind the melodrama that had occurred, left Sanguinum for the better and became a lost individual. Her mind was broken, her reason to live was confiscated by her own blood, and her dedication in becoming anything influential was burned to ashes. She would later find herself at the streets of Aucteraden, evading the police force sent by the Sanguinum’s provincial security to retrieve her. She had no reason to leave – nor did she have any reason to run away, but continued running away for the longest time until she was eventually cornered, having to resort to violence as she unleashed her Exousiarch, harming multiple police individuals and even killing a handful by accident. This incident would later lay the foundation behind the countless other murders behind the Sanguinum police force in Aucteraden, as Sertoria was starting to lose her mind completely – resorting her pain and suffering towards those that were out to incarcerate her.

Sertoria later joined the Golden Path Organization after discovering her new ambitions. Although, while the ISD speculates that the uprising of the Golden Path Organization was due to the “Phoenix” and their contribution to the criminal organization, the truth speaks differently. In reality, the original founder of the criminal institution fell in love with the distorted mindset of the Phoenix, a psychotic and demented affection towards a mass murderer. Sertoria merely used this advantage to seize his wealth and the institution he built up, later usurping the position of leadership by secretly disposing of the founder, becoming the de facto leader of the Golden Path Organization. Her first objective was to cause as much calamity as possible with her empyromantic abilities in Sanguinum, until later growing her own, respectable goal – to remove both the legislative and extraterrestrial branch of the Empyrian Empire along with the monarch, to install a new democratic government for equality. Only the closest to her cause understands that her ambition is nothing but a masked deception to cause total calamity.

General Description
About the Character
Syriel is a former special operations soldier under House Kaiser who is one of the secretaries of the current Collbrande of Aucteraden, Draigh Kaiser, and is the first of the current generation of the Kriegsheld Cadre. Her position also gives her duties within the Imperial Security Directorate, or ISD, as cooperation with them is required by Imperial Law. She serves as one of few liaisons between House Kaiser and the ISD, occasionally providing consultancy and tactical support to ISD personnel for the Directorate’s operations in Aucteraden. Professions aside, she has personal histories with her liege and some of the Kriegshelden.
Exousiarch
None
Syriel is a commoner and thusly has no access to an Exousiarch. An arrangement that she barely talks about in spite of her achievements being well-known.
Background
Character Backstory
Syriel was born as an only child with the gift a good magical affinity to a commoner family in the hinterlands of Aucteraden that had a basic military background. Her father was an avid hunter and once an Imperial Army soldier that served as an infantry marksman who continues hunting to this day after coming back home. Her mother was the simple average housewife. The little Syriel stated that she wanted to be like her father back in the day - a soldier. Of course her mother rejected at first, fearing for her safety before eventually relenting after much convincing, while her father received her intentions positively, seeing it as an opportunity to help her grow into a better woman while his family could contribute more to Empyria as it had generations past.

When she came of age to serve in the Imperial Army, the military was preparing for the Invasion of Raignork and was looking for manpower for such a massive undertaking. Seeing the opportunity to finally put all the years of training and practice she had with her father’s help into use, she decided to seize the initiative and sign up as a soldier who would serve under the banner of House Kaiser. During her military training course and subsequent years in a conventional unit, it was found that she was eligible for special forces, once again seizing the opportunity to train under them, honing her skills and aptitude which were formidably put to the test on the Rythen homeworld of Raignork. She was only 22 at the time when she was deployed on her first tour following the Empyrian declaration of war on the Rythen Empire, seeing what war was really like and a grueling reality about the Imperial Army that she was so eager to serve in later on during the invasion.

During the war, the special forces battalion that Syriel was part of was tasked with paving the way for Imperial Army formations that have made landfall on Raignork after preliminary trailblazing efforts. They were given special assignments aimed at destroying or sabotaging Rythen defenses that posed a threat to the boots on the ground and the rest that were coming in from the planet’s orbit. It was no easy task as the Rythens had the upper hand at this stage of the war, easily racking kill after kill that eventually wiped out entire formations as the Imperial Army tried its utmost to gain footholds on the planet. The Empyrians were fighting very hard for little gains, Syriel’s battalion was no exception as they lost platoon after platoon just to take out a single defensive emplacement at worst. She and her platoon heard the reports from the rear to their utter anxiety and horror until it was finally their turn to become meat for the grinder like the greenhorns they were.

It was here where they would get their actual baptism of fire and for the first time of their lives, see the horrors of war. It is one of the most memorable experiences of the young Syriel, traumatized as she found herself substantially wounded while being given a front-row seat to the demise of some of her friends and squadmates who died fighting to complete their objectives. However, their sacrifices were not in vain as what was left of her platoon and their allies had succeeded in their mission and allowed a large contingent of House Kaiser troops to advance, even if only a few kilometers. Albeit it was a hollow victory as almost all the troops involved were killed in action. Syriel was one of the lucky and unlucky ones, lucky to be alive and unlucky to be alive to remember all of it. She would get more bad memories later into the war, having been a witness to the Imperial Army’s atrocities committed against Rythen prisoners of war and evacuees in the invasion’s latter half.

In spite of all this, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Little did Syriel know that her life would change when she got the opportunity to serve in a platoon with Draigh Kaiser, then a Collbrande aspirant, during the invasion’s later stages in recognition of her earlier achievements. She fought alongside him and his other companions all the way, even during the victorious and decisive battle against one of the Rythen commanders, Reinkurey Eldridge, Remnant of Ouranos. Triumphant but wounded, their efforts had contributed to winning the Empyrians the war and Syriel returned home proud and grateful, but also disillusioned of Empyria despite her time in the war ending on a good note. She lived a normal life for 2 years aware that her service, camaraderie, and achievements have left an impression on Draigh, now the Kaiser Collbrande, the latter offering her a place among House Kaiser’s highly-esteemed Kriegsheld Cadre as the first of a new generation of Kriegshelden, a post she accepted and held for 4 years and counting.

Since then, Syriel has always maintained good or nominal relations with her fellow Kriegshelden and liege, especially the latter as the two of them once had a lengthy relationship that went beyond the bounds of the battlefield and the office that started during the invasion. The relationship has since been peaceably called off with the two still remaining as close friends and coworkers with absolutely no sign of a superior-subordinate dynamic. Relationships aside, she always was and still is quite the hard worker, always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty despite her shaken beliefs.

General Description
About the Character
Thessia is a woman of noble pedigree who serves as the right hand of the Collbrande of Anterås, Luria Cineris. She is also an elite operator of the "Ashen Embers" Special Task Force, a paramilitary formation under the direct command of House Cineris composed of its best agents. She is one of the best in the business of spies and assassins, serving as the eyes, ears, shield, and dagger of her liege.
Exousiarch
Umbral Kindred - Phase 3
Thessia can summon a variety of umbral familiars, much more potent than those that can be ordinarily summoned, that can be used for a number of roles. These include but are not limited to animalistic forms that not only deal penetrating physical damage, but can also directly damage the incarce circuits of their prey provided they penetrate its physical and magical defenses. The familiars have a timed life inversely proportional to their size, the smaller ones boasting a longer duration while the opposite is true for larger ones.

Furthermore, Thessia has spent most of her life honing her skills in the arcane, particularly her natural affinity towards Shadowmancy. Coupled with the second phase of her Exousiarch, her repertoire of skills is formidable in its own right such as the capability to generate shadowy mists to mask maneuvers, render herself invisible and silent, or even completely melding with the shadows around her among others.
Background
Character Backstory
Thessia’s childhood was mostly indifferent from any average noble of a minor Noble House, the young girl, the only daughter of her parents, being taught various subjects in the academe that she simply had little to no actual interest in, but still retained some useful information from her lessons nonetheless which would come to aid her later on in life from time to time, but not as often as one would think for an Elite Operative. She mostly failed in her lessons, only showing barely more than satisfactory performance but demonstrated exemplary performance in two things: martial prowess, House Tyrren’s niche, and espionage with the young Thessia having a good understanding on the latter that could be improved. A stark contrast compared to her older and younger brothers that excelled in the academe and statecraft, but barely passed in anything martial to their embarrassment. That gap has long since been bridged but they would still be behind their only sister in terms of martial skill.

Her failures in most of her lessons has led to her family to decide her fate. With her consent, she was immediately sent to the Imperial Army upon hitting 18 where she would immediately become an officer in the upper echelons of the officer corps of the Anteråsan Imperial Garrison due to her entry grades and noble background. She was assigned to work in the Anteråsan Internal Security Service, or the AISS, upon receiving her background test results and went on to serve there dutifully for 7 years, even resigning from the Imperial Army 4 years into her stint in the AISS, doing jobs on the desk, in the field, and sometimes even odd jobs, that honed her talents and skills beyond expectations that changed her into the person that she is now: a cold, calculated, and strict professional operative for the service.

Her hard work eventually paid off in the form of a senior official in the service putting in a good word for her to House Cineris and recommending that she be inducted into the prized household guard and paramilitary force of the House, the “Ashen Embers” Special Task Force. The recommendation was carefully considered for a time by Lucius Cineris, the then Collbrande of Anterås, and his chief advisers and retainers before finally accepting it and inviting the young Thessia to serve under them. It was an opportunity that she could not miss nor was it one she would ever get again. Determined, she accepted the invitation and immediately started her work as an operative of the Ashen Embers. She showed similar commitment to her new post as if it was her old one back in the service. She learned, adapted, excelled, and outperformed, quickly becoming one the Ashen Embers’ best operatives in a relatively eventful career full of operations big and small that would span 15 years, continuing into the present after the ascension rule of the current Collbrande of Anterås, Luria Cineris.

Having been recommended by the current Collbrande’s father and even catching her attention, Thessia was given a post of significance as the Collbrande’s right-hand man, her most trusted operative that serves as her eyes, ears, nose, and dagger. A new bond had formed easily between the two women that gave way to a productive professional and casual relationship that would likely be of much use later on. Under the advice of some colleagues and even both her past and present lieges, Thessia has since kept a small portion of her professionalism away due to the nature of her duties and the demands of being a spy for House Cineris. If she was to be at her best, she needed to be able to understand and connect with people. Being only in her 40s, she has a long way to go and much to learn. At a time such as the present, being set in stone is not the best idea.

General Description
About the Character
Edward is a captain in the Cinereous Citadel Guard Regiment, fully dedicated household guards under the direct command of House Cineris composed of elite special forces operators taken from the Anteråsan Imperial Garrison for their exemplary service to the House in times of peace or in times of war. He serves as a security detail officer in the Citadel’s main keep where he acts as a security coordinator and lobby receptionist where his second name “Clerk” is affectionately used by other guards and members of House Cineris.

Edward is in the prized formation for the former for his achievements in the fight against crime as part of a joint special mission group of the Anteråsan Imperial Garrison Gendarmerie and Imperial Security Directorate. He is also an Invasion of Raignork veteran, having been part of an Imperial Army unit under House Cineris that served as part of the then Cineris Collbrande’s security and surgical strike detail with several operations under his belt. He is a tenured soldier and policeman in his own right.
Exousiarch
None
Edward is a commoner and thusly has no access to an Exousiarch.
Background
Character Backstory
Edward was the first out of five children, all brothers who would later share a close bond, of a father who was an active superintendent in the Anteråsan Imperial Garrison Gendarmerie and a mother who was an inspector in the same organization. Both had resigned from their duties after Edward was born to care for him. Suffice it to say that military qualities and the will to fight against crime ran in the family as the Maxwells had a history of producing good eggs for the provincial gendarmerie but never held very high ranks.

Edward was the most keen out of all his brothers to continue the family tradition to the contentment and acceptance of his parents. After finishing his secondary education at his coming of age, he signed up and was assigned to the Anteråsan Imperial Garrison Gendarmerie after background and eligibility checks. He was later joined by two of his brothers in the gendarmerie while the remaining two were assigned to port maintenance and port security for the Imperial Army naval bases in Anterås of their own choice, not wanting to saturate the gendarmerie with Maxwells and to give their family a diverse skill base. Edward soon transferred to become part of the tactical units, receiving further training before being assigned to a special mission group.

Prior to the Invasion of Raignork, the special mission group that Edward was a part of carried out multiple operations against a number of organized crime rings or independent criminal entities within Anterås and occasionally in overseas assignments in other provinces given by the Imperial Security Directorate. The group’s many busts and other successes earned them a number of accolades and recognition from the then Collbrande of Anterås, Lucius Cineris, and were given posts in the Cinereous Citadel Guard Regiment where Edward, a squad leader, was promoted to captain and given the charge to protect the Citadel’s main keep as one of its chief officers, a security coordinator and the man at the front desk where he receives guests and sees them off. He easily became close to House Cineris due to the nature of his job that involved frequent exchanges with the House.

The Invasion of Raignork came and the Noble Houses were required to take part, House Cineris was to provide backline and special tactical support and Edward was automatically assigned to go with the then Cineris Collbrande to form the backbone of his security and surgical strike detail that would take on many dangerous assignments just like other groups of similar caliber. It was here where he would learn a plethora of invaluable lessons in a field that was so vastly different from the one he had been used to for his life up to that point. It was here where he would cement his place as an elite of House Cineris along with others who have survived and others who have died.

Fortunately for Edward, his four brothers had stayed home on Agartha at the time with half having already been honorably discharged from the military, leaving him as the only Maxwell of his generation that has gone to war which gave him a lot of relief. The loss of comrades was already enough for him, the loss of even one brother would have been devastating. Edward got out of the war relatively unscathed as his wounds in operations were never severe enough to kill him, but like some veterans of the invasion, were disillusioned of Empyria due to the atrocities and other shortcomings that had transpired at the time. Thankfully House Cineris had never been involved but that was besides the point.

Following the war’s end, Edward took a short leave before promptly resuming his original duties with the new and old faces of the Cinereous Citadel Guard Regiment while keeping in touch with his family. He is currently considering and looking for other duties to take as some things just did not feel the same since he returned home, thinking that a change of pace would be a good start.

General Description
About the Character
A man of progress and knowledge, Xavier is a former Lord General of the Imperial Army of commoner birth with a distinguished record that dates back to his earliest days as a commissioned officer that earned him the ire of his enemies and the envy of his colleagues. He has a knack for development that encompasses various disciplines, mostly military and logistics, which has led to some enhancements in army doctrines. His advocacy for more technologically sophisticated military and civilian infrastructure and equipment has led him to being called “Upgrade Man” by many, although the nickname started purely as a joke, it stuck through the years.

Now a reservist officer until his resignation or his death, he serves dutifully with pride in Anterås as the Executive Chairman of the Imperial Secretariat of Anteråsan Governance, using his knack for progress to help others as a way of giving back to the people for the past 30 years. He is known to be a close colleague of Luria Cineris due to common interests and her second-in-command in the administration of the Province of Anterås. A very known man helping an unknown woman with a multitude of matters as one of her mentors in her early life up to now. He currently works and resides in one of the Cinereous Citadel’s two barracks with his family, having the entire building to themselves.

Xavier is a commoner and thusly has no access to an Exousiarch.
Background
Character Backstory
Xavier was born in one of the less-developed areas of Anterås at the time to a mechanic father who was his only parent following an unfortunate separation due to parental conflicts. His early life was not exactly like most Imperial Army generals, having lived the life of a normal child who had a good education and occasionally helped his father in running the latter’s automobile workshop that helped in manifesting his good work ethics. Life was okay for him until the shop was put in dire straits due to lack of profit and his father coming under debt after a failed bid to better the business.

Predictably, the shop closed down and Xavier’s father was forced to head to Graustadt to get a new job, luckily finding one quickly, while he stayed behind to finish his schooling. He lived alone in their home using the money that his father sent him every month, it wasn’t much since his father had to live his own life in the city but it was enough. The relatively normal subsistent life that both had continued, Xavier even managing to finish his secondary education at 17 which was all he needed to get a job. Unfortunately, his father died in a work accident within the same year and left him to fend for himself with the aforementioned debt and living expenses, the latter he used to regularly be able to pay with his father’s help. He soon decided to leave home for good and moved to the nearest city where he could get a job.

With little luck, he found no vacancies or the places that he applied to never called him back and the need for quick cash got the better of him and landed him into a bit of an odd job as a freelance mechanic. Sooner or later, one of the few rich clients that he had serviced contacted him with an opportunity that he couldn’t pass, it was a job offer involving being the client’s exclusive mechanic and test driver for his automobiles with a pay that was much higher than normal. It was like a dream to him and he didn’t want to let go of it and thoughtlessly accepted. It didn’t take long for him to realize that his client was into the high-risk and high-stakes underground racing business which was at the time, illegal in Anterås outside of the oval tracks in stadiums due to the dangers of the mountain routes fit for racing as streets and highways were off limits. He was introduced to the business and encouraged to partake in it for more money which he accepted. A new chapter of his life was about to begin.

The 19-year old Xavier did as he was told, servicing, retrofitting, and testing the cars of not just his client, but also of those who race under his label. After 2 years of constant exposure to the craft day in and day out, he was enticed by his client to participate in the races themselves after having seen his potential. He had already paid the debts that his father incurred over time so as to not look suspicious to his creditors even though they likely wouldn’t have cared where he got the money to pay. Thus, his career as an illegal racer in both the streets and mountains started, hiding under another name as a precaution. He quickly became one of the popular racers in the underground community over the years. He raced everywhere from the Northern Regions all the way down to the Southern Regions, stocking up awards and prize money that made some of his rivals want to kill him. There were attempts on his life in which he survived, even managing to strike back at those who tried. He had a knack for detective work when it came to finding those that wanted him 6 feet under.

Eventually, he stopped racing at 25, managing to taste what a normal life was like and investing the prize money he accumulated through his wins and “stole” from his rivals into various business firms that act as his sources of income to this day. He would later on assist in the legalization and legitimization of racing in Anterås beyond the stadiums, using his power as a top Imperial Army officer in convincing the provincial government of its touristic benefits and how it was more effective to simply peaceably deal with the problem and investing in safety measures than investing in the means to shut the once underground business down. Many from Empyria still come to Anterås to this day just to see the races taking place in one of many mountain tracks within the province not just for the entertainment, but also to take in the natural beauty of the Anteråsan mountains.

He finally enlisted into the military at 26 after getting his effects in order, enrolling into an officer course for motorized division operations. It was in his time in the academy that he noticed that the Imperial Army of his generation was a bit too bookish, even romanticizing war and fighting with chivalric codes that he deems obsolete. It was natural, Empyria at the time hadn’t been in a war for a long time. However, constricting themselves to think within the box or the rulebook, especially for high-risk or unconventional operations was not exactly normal. To him, it would greatly cost the Imperial Army if utilized incorrectly and if nothing was done about it. He was quick to speak up but was immediately pulled down by those around him, most notably those of noble birth, dismissing him as an inane commoner with no experience. This kind of treatment wouldn’t last too long in his life.

Unlike most commoner officer cadets, he had the guts to stand up again. He worked his way up the ladder, regaining the favor of his superiors in the process, and attained a place among the generalship of the Empyrian Imperial Armed Forces at 32 due to his many stringently-tested papers on better and more efficient military organization, logistics, and more investments into improving the technology at the military’s disposal to especially aid in the former two. His papers also included some acceptable military technologies that can be converted for civilian applications. It was during these times that he started to be called “Upgrade Man” by both the military and the citizenry alike. His dedication to his work eventually rewarded him a post in the House of the Lords General a year later as the representative of the Western Regions, a position that he would hold for 12 years before ultimately resigning from the post in search of greener pastures. His journey however, continues.

Not even a year after his resignation, he was contacted by the then Collbrande of Anterås, Lucius Cineris, offering him the post of Executive Chairman of the Imperial Secretariat of Anteråsan Governance. Like the offer to be an exclusive mechanic in his youth, he was more than eager to accept but this time for a different reason, to keep serving Empyria and its people by giving back to them as a top provincial government official. This would be a post that he would keep for 30 years up to the present day, his tenure would even include being among the front line generals for House Cineris during the Invasion of Raignork where he raised practical and ethical concerns regarding the Imperial Army’s time on the planet in the war’s aftermath and later as a rearguard commander in the Saygien Conflict. He became good friends with Lucius over the years and became a mentor for the latter’s children on statecraft and martial studies.

Of course, one of these mentored children is none other than the very Collbrande he serves today, Luria Cineris, with which he maintains a good relationship with as a mentor, second-in-command, and family friend.

General Description
About the Character
An enigmatic person that has puzzled many an Empyrian since her rising to power, Luria is the obscure unseen hand that is responsible for the overall leadership of House Cineris and the province of Anterås in which it is based as its seat of power with its apex within the provincial capital of Graustadt. Her ascent to Collbrande was relatively quiet compared to her peers following her father’s sudden but silent abdication in the later half of 707 due to deteriorating health during which she was named his successor in the latter’s clandestine bid for his daughter’s candidacy for the position to the upper echelons of Empyria with her full awareness and consent.

Such a decision made behind closed doors however, would have consequences for the young Luria during and after her ascension to Collbrande in early 708. Given that she silently assumed her new station with very minimal press coverage outside of an announcement from her father’s office paired with her nigh nonexistent profile, the effects were a given. The House and its new head were immediately at more odds with not just a sizeable fraction of the nobility, but also the common people within and beyond Anterås. Both of which have very little to no idea on who or what just assumed power as the Collbrande of Anterås compared to her more renowned and respected predecessors and what this could mean for the province and Empyria at large as her rule is all but in its infancy.

House Cineris has been long known to delve into the vast trade and craft of information gathering, exchange, and security. Most notable is espionage, the clean and dirty kinds, which they deem to be their specialty that is further reinforced by the House producing some of the highly-trained and experienced spies, with a little mix of assassins, for the Imperial Army and beyond. This disposition towards such professions has given the House a certain reputation among the nobility and common folk alike that has garnered its share of supporters and critics that still persist.

Furthermore, to add onto that reputation is a Collbrande who has, simply put, appeared from thin air that raises more than a few question marks and produces some rumors, very few of which are of the unsavory kind. Doubts have been raised on whether Luria can meet up to what is expected of her and if she can even exceed them among other things that she wishes to hopefully dispel in the future. All she needs is the time and the chances to prove herself, and they will certainly come given the infantile state of her new tenure and her nigh-opaque profile, arguably the closest to a blank slate that a Collbrande has ever been. A critical mind however, would come to ask this glaring question: “Is the slate really blank?”
Exousiarch
Agartha’s Oculus - Phase 4
An Exousiarch that is centered around House Cineris’s field of expertise, it grants Luria the capability to achieve a meditative state where she can use a limited extent of supreme observation which gives her a degree of absolute sight. This in effect turns her into what is essentially an all-seeing eye with a real-time bird’s eye view of a wide area, the image of which can be magnified at will with no image quality loss whatsoever. She can also summon an arcane sphere that projects what she sees to convey the information to others.

Agartha’s Oculus can also reveal a variety of hidden things such as ordinary objects, traps, invisible entities, and to a limited extent, detect illusions and see through disguises. It also grants Luria the capability to see through terrain, walls, buildings, and more provided they aren’t protected by an enchanted barrier or spell tailored to countering similar powers. Whether she can penetrate these with her Exousiarch and how well she would see after doing so would depend on the barrier and her mastery over her Exousiarch and its power.

An obvious disadvantage of Agartha’s Oculus is that Luria must be in a meditative state which requires time and focus, she cannot actively defend herself from any assailants and must be protected by others should she use such power in the field. She can help those that are defending her see their assailants as well provided she is using her Exousiarch in the same area that she and her would-be companions are in or if there are means to convey the information to more distant defenders in the case of being a distance apart. Another disadvantage would be that she can only use her Exousiarch on areas that she knows geographically, requiring references such as maps or aerial or orbital surveillance photos or feeds or even landmarks unless the area is one that she knows by memory.

The operational and effective range of Agartha’s Oculus is bound to the planet that Luria is located on and how much she knows of it. She is able to use her Exousiarch from within the confines of a ship to scan a location on a planet provided the aforementioned constraints are satisfied and that the vessel is of sufficient proximity to the planet. However, she is limited to outside sources should she require information that is on a neighboring planet. It has been speculated that the efficacy of Agartha’s Oculus can be enhanced, improving various parameters across the board thus improving its performance. The full how’s and why’s are currently unknown outside of repeated practice and exposure.
Background
Character Backstory
Little is known of Luria’s background as she basically has no records on any public, private, or military network — a ghost. They do exist contrary to popular belief, just that they are kept safe in a family archive in the deepest reaches of the Cinereous Citadel and in the archives of the highest nobility in Empyria where they will almost never be accessed directly. This lack of “existence,” so to speak, has put her into doubt more than once and has sparked some rumors like those about her legitimacy as a Cineris. Such rumors were quickly quashed and debunked by her father’s office with the backing of the appropriate authorities but still shed little light on who and what kind of person she was as any further information from what was needed to debunk any unsavory rumors was deemed unnecessary, or not need-to-know, to disclose. Her choosing obscurity, be it because of the nature of her House and their ventures or otherwise, will still have consequences regardless.

Outside of the public realm and what very little information can be scrounged up on her thanks to her father’s self-imposed vows of silence on his personal life, family, and private ventures, Luria lived a supposedly normal childhood and later according to the standards of Empyrian nobility in spite of being a scion of an atypical noble family. Her general education lessons, statecraft lessons, and martial lessons were handled by the best people in House Cineris and in Anterås that the former could reasonably provide. The lessons were in no way easy, challenging her physically and mentally every step of the way so as to properly groom and prepare the young Luria for her future post of Collbrande of Anterås. It would be a safe assumption to say that it paid off given her initial decisions upon and after assuming power by maintaining current Anteråsan policy while promising to make improvements to an already more than satisfactory provincial system but it is still too early in her rule to properly judge.

Background-wise, Luria appears to be a typical noblewoman aside from her different upbringing molding her into a capable soldier, spy, and stateswoman. A natural thing with House Cineris albeit only a fraction of the full picture that is her life up to her current state.

General Description
About the Character
Aldous is the capable and mysterious leader of the Vanguards of Imperius, having been a member of it before any of the present generation of Vanguards and that of their seniors. Even before his liege, Evelyn von Bismarck, the current Collbrande of Elesrith, ascended to her father’s place. His old liege. When inquired of his past, he always either skillfully segues the conversation away from it or bluntly answers to those closer to him that it’s not something he wishes to speak of to just anyone. Those who would’ve wanted to look him up on databases or archives would come up empty. His only public information being a full recording compilation of the Tournament of Valor that he won in over a century ago, and an edited version of it that shows only his matches.

The lack of information on his person has sparked rumors that he admittedly didn’t pay much mind to as he cared little for them, and he still does. He instead opted to let his actions do the talking, proving himself to be a capable warrior and statesman. A fitting adviser for the Collbrande of Elesrith and for the Vanguards of Imperius as a whole. His tenure as a member and then a leader granting him significant experience that makes him a solid foundation that they can depend on. He is not someone to be underestimated or crossed if his achievements, especially the recordings of the Tournament of Valor he was in, are anything to go by. He has made it far, and for good reason.
Exousiarch
Infernus - Phase 5
Aldous turns into a raging elemental golem of arcane fire and molten earth that can incinerate anything in its path and instantaneously turn the environment around it into a hellscape by raising the environmental temperatures to extreme degrees coupled with the capability of forming miniature volcanoes sprouting like plants from the ground below and release large amounts of volcanic material, but most importantly, lava to melt and incinerate anything in the burning tide’s path.

Furthermore, Aldous can summon a retinue consisting of up to 10 weaker versions of his elemental golem form. This is not yet including much weaker constructs of fire and molten earth that he can summon like golems, elementals, and familiars such as lesser phoenixes that automatically return to him once they have reached their expiration. Or elementals made entirely of lava that douse Aldous’s enemies with it. To top it off, Aldous can create few intelligent elementals or familiars that can think, feel, and communicate.

Other than the destructive purposes that Aldous gives them, the summoned elementals can also be used to assist in any number of tasks without burning anything in their wake or causing an environmental inconvenience thanks to Aldous’s fine control of his powers. His place of work is often dotted with elementals of fire doing the work of a small staff and the work of a security detail. He even keeps a sentient blob of lava as a pet that he calls “Smokey.” An insight into his potentially horrible naming skills.

General Description
About the Character
An unwavering warrior, resolute in her quest to vanquish the Forbidden Tomb and eradicate the malevolent presence that looms beneath its sacred soil. Yet, she also wears the guise of an enigmatic persona known as "Yaksha," a shadowy figure who operates as a solitary informant, bartering priceless information for precious commodities or knowledge of equal worth

Precise, disciplined, and observant. Her craft is her foremost priority, above all else. Some may deem her cold and calculating, a reputation she's earned from those who have previously toiled by her side. Yet, her intentions are never malicious, merely practical, and rooted in logic.

Kyouka is a woman fixated on her goals, unperturbed by the distractions of companionship or affection. Her mind is honed to a razor's edge, cutting through distractions and obstacles with ease. Her devotion to her craft demands nothing less than excellence, and she never hesitates to deliver pragmatic answers when probed about her methods.
Exousiarch
Decadent Wings of the Untamed - Cursed Phase 3
Kyouka possesses a unique ability - to switch with her alter ego, a persona hidden deep within the void of her heart. This alternate self is none other than her deceased twin sister, Kyuma - a being far more malevolent and audacious than Kyouka herself.

There is no restriction on the duration of Kyuma's dominion, but Kyouka retains the power to reclaim her consciousness at will. In this way, Kyouka can harness the strengths of both her personas, allowing her to confront any challenge with unfettered power and unbridled determination.

Unsanctified Rule In a cataclysmic event, Kyouka's Exousiarch was awoken by a surge of apocalyptic energy that flooded her body, overriding her incarce circuits with an alien potential. The sheer force of this power permanently locked her Exousiarch to phase 3, preventing her from accessing the higher phases of 4 or 5.

This limitation extends to Kyuma, as well. No amount of willpower or determination can surmount this obstacle, for the Exousiarch is an immutable force that abides by its own rules. Kyouka is forever bound to this singular phase, though it is not without its own strengths and unique abilities. Despite the limitations imposed upon her, Kyouka remains a formidable force to be reckoned with.

Exousiarch (Kyuma): The Bird of Hermes As Kyuma undergoes a metamorphosis, her form transmuting into a being of otherworldly power. Four mighty wings burst from her back, surging with apocalyptic energy that spills forth into the air, a torrential cascade of raw power. As she takes to the skies, her body transforms into a vessel of destruction, unbound by the constraints of the earth below.

The wings provide not just flight, but also unmatched aerodynamic capabilities, allowing Kyuma to twist and turn through the air with consummate ease. But it is her control over the apocalyptic energy that truly sets her apart. With a mere thought, she can conjure up imaginary objects, shaping the energy to her will, creating whatever she needs to triumph over her foes.

To unleash the full extent of her power, Kyuma invokes "The Bird of Hermes". In doing so, she gains an unlimited reserve of apocalyptic energy, but at a grave cost. To prevent her incarce circuits from being fatally damaged, she must continually release the overflowing energy from her body, unleashing it upon the world below. Thus, she is forever bound to a cycle of destruction, a force of nature beyond human comprehension.

General Description
About the Character
Corvus, a former operative of the Archangel branch of the Order of Eden, is widely believed to be the architect behind the notorious Arcalion Syndicate's insurrection. Known for his covert skills, Corvus was one of the most formidable assassins in the Order, with an uncanny ability to emerge unscathed from his missions.

However, the circumstances that led to his defection from the Order remain shrouded in mystery, as does the means by which he was able to remove the cursed seal that had been placed on his Kaleidoscope. Fleeing from the wrath of the Order, Corvus found refuge in Sector Twelve, where he established the Arcalion Syndicate with the assistance of other outlaws.

Under Corvus's leadership, the Arcalion Syndicate grew in strength and influence, expanding its reach across the territories of Empyria and eventually venturing into the depths of Agartha. Though the specifics of Corvus's plans and motivations remain unclear, there is no denying the potency of his vision, nor the ruthless efficiency with which he has executed it.

Tyrovein Ouroboros, also known as Corvus, was taken under the care of Siegfried at a young age, when he was found starving in the polluted streets of Sector Zero. Lacking basic literacy skills, Siegfried took it upon herself to educate him in addition to subjecting him to rigorous combat training, with the intention of molding him into a future covert operator for the Order of Eden. Despite being originally trained for the Edenguard, Corvus's lack of innate ability necessitated Siegfried's decision to place him in the Archangels branch, with the hope that he would prove himself to be a valuable asset under her command. Siegfried's efforts proved successful, as Corvus would go on to become one of her most loyal operatives for several years.

Tyrovein, known by his operational alias "Corvus," rapidly ascended through the ranks with unparalleled success, thanks to his unique Kaleidoscope. However, his loyalty to the Order of Eden was shattered when he discovered the heinous secrets concealed by Siegfried, his superior officer. Specifically, Siegfried had been abducting homeless children from various sectors and conducting experiments on them, using William Ophelia's cells and DNA to create a new design for the Kaleidoscope. These atrocities sparked intense anger and resentment in Corvus, who shared a similar background with the victimized children. Nevertheless, he bided his time, waiting for the day when he could rid himself of the sacrilege seal that Siegfried had placed on all members of the Order of Eden.

With every breath, every step, Corvus knew that his escape from the Order of Eden would be the greatest challenge of his life. Through the polluted streets of Sector Zero, he fought with every fiber of his being, driven by an unshakable determination to break free. Though he managed to encourage a handful of others to join him, the escape was brutal and unforgiving, taking the lives of all but three of his fellow operators.

Even as he ran for his life, Corvus could feel the hot breath of his pursuers at his back. Michael and Karvein, two of the Order's most ruthless operatives, were determined to see him dead. In the end, it was only through sheer willpower that Corvus managed to evade them and escape with his life intact.

But the victory was a hollow one. Fatigued and enraged by the senseless loss of life, Corvus fled to Sector Twelve, where he sought refuge with his allies. There, he began to lay the foundation of what would become the Arcalion Syndicate, one of the most powerful criminal organizations in all of Empyria. With each brick and stone, Corvus poured his heart and soul into his creation, fueled by a burning desire for vengeance.
Kaleidoscope
Rutilant Dimensional Escape
With the power to forge a separate world, Corvus wields a remarkable ability, one that he uses with skill and artistry. By crafting a temporary second realm that mirrors reality, he can escape from danger, rendering his attackers powerless. In this dimension, Corvus and his companion are invulnerable, safe from harm and unable to inflict it upon others. Though this power is potent, it is not without its limits, as Corvus can only invoke it once every 5 minutes and can only remain within it for a maximum of 4 minutes. Nevertheless, with this rare talent, Corvus stands as a master of the unseen and the unexpected.
