Kilian nearly laughed because Peyton nearly kissed Allison. "Hey old man, you know her like a day and you already want to kiss her, don't tell me you wanted do built this town because you are a sex offender and were thrown out of every other city." He gave Peyton a playful punch on the shoulder and then took a portion of the food.

"But I can understand you, she is young, looks nice and can cook and you are old, and desperate because why would you build a town with people that stumbled out of a forest?"

"I have no trouble getting women. I did that towards Allison out of habit... It's an old habit... From the days when I still had my wife." He looked at the other man, then turned to Abel. "How was the meal my boy?" He has a few guesses as to what the boy might say. He knew he wanted more, and he wasn't even starving before hand.

Allison walked back in after Killian. His response didnt do anything to ease her worries, but she would let it go for now. She found it odd that everyone would be thinking back to their pasts, but she supp-

The redhead quickly stopped in her tracks and ducked away from Peyton as he seemed to lean out to.. kiss her? Backing up a bit, she watched Peyton turn away from her, apologizing. She could feel her face turn almost as red as her hair. She smiled and brushed it off like it wasnt a big deal, but it embarrassed her a little. Watching Killian joke about it and Peyton explain a bit sheepishly as to what had happened, she began to relax. She actually let out a genuine giggle, and continued to blush at Killian’s compliments.

Finally she decided to take a seat beside Michelle, who still seemed to be somewhat in her own world. Allison hoped she was alright. Finally she turned back to Peyton.

“Dont worry about it! It was an honest mistake.” she desperately wanted to ask what had happened to his wife, but refrained. It probably wasnt a very appropriate question, and she didnt want to bring down the mood anymore than it already had.

Abel remained silent, acknowledging Peyton's comments with a nervous smile. He didn't often eat meat, but whoever cooked this meal certainly had some skill. He would devote his time to eating as much as he was allowed and hope that Peyton focused on the good memories. If not, he was a pretty fast runner. Knights as he knew them were brutes with more strength than any one person should have. Even so, he wasn't quite sure about this one.

Mitchelle just looked at them as she just smiled a little as she was slightly tired as she just yawned looking around seeing Alison and the others she hated being alone but with these guys here she felt happy for the first time" I'm sorry I was looking a bit gloomy ma'am I was just missing my parents they died but I'm happy now I'm gonna get strong i love your food" she smiled. She just yawned as she was slightly bit tired she just looked at the others she never tried wine before but she knew she was still young the taste probably taste horrible" sorry for worrying you Ma'am" she says"I'm Mitchelle Woods" she say as she was trying to look happy

Allison smiled at Michelle and nodded.

“Mhm, i remember from building the shop with you earlier this morning! Also, you dont have to call me ma’am, my name is Allison! Its a pleasure to meet you and um... im very sorry about your parents... i couldnt imagine losing mine..”

Although for the most part it was true, she couldnt imagine her parents dying, it felt like she had already lost them. Lost their trust, their pride in her...their love. Shaking her head, the redhead refused to fall into the gloom that was already taking over the house. She gave a sympathetic look to Michelle, hoping that they would be able to talk more soon. But for now, she was very tired from such a long day. Tomorrow she would wake up early and clean up.

“Well.. im very tired, but uh..im not sure where i should stay tonight? I dont want to intrude...”

Kilian look at Abel, and the others. "as Allison said, I'm tired and I will now go to bed. I will see you all tomorrow and if I sleep too long, please wake me up." Kilian bowed to the woman and waved at Peyton and Abel. "you can find me in my shop." Kilian left the building and went over to his shop into the little room in the back.

Peyton sat for about an hour, thinking about the memories that had come to him today. Eventually he stood up from his seat and and decided to retire for the night. He walked into his bedroom, and took his scabbard off, leaning both it and the sword it contained against the wall next to the headboard of his bed. So many people. A total of 5 spread amongst all of 2 houses, and one of them was small. He would have to work on Allison's house tomorrow. Here would be slightly bigger, with a barn with stables below, and a large apartment above. He figured he would give the barn 10 stables, and then work on fencing in a large field for cattle, and a large section for crops. After his thoughts began to slow, he finally fell asleep.

Allison opened her eyes blearily. After the events of yesterday, she had slept in later than intended. Sighing, she pushed herself up and stretched, her arms aching badly. The harsh sunlight streamed relentlessly through the windows, making the redhead squint at her surroundings. She had fallen asleep where she had sat down. No wonder she was in so much pain..

Getting up slowly, she realized she needed a wash badly, but before that the animals needed tended to. Walking outside, she sighed. The sun mightve hurt her eyes, but it did wonders for her aching body. Heading over to the cows and the horse, she untied them from the post they had been stuck at all night. The poor things had eaten nearly all of the grass, and they didnt have anything else to eat.

Leading them to a fresh spot, she realized she didnt have anywhere to tie them, so she tied the ropes to each other. If the animals tried to pull away, they would feel a tug and keep still. She remembered doing this back at her home... fighting to keep the tears from spilling out of her eyes, she pat the beasts and left them on their own. She would make sure to keep an eye out for them every so often. She would need to make time to break in the stallion as well...

She wasnt sure when Peyton would wake up, and she certainly wasnt going to go wake him. He had had a tough night last night. It seemed that everyone had. So she would make due with what she knew how to do until the older man could give her more intructions.

Kilian stood up and walked out of his new home, he smiled when he saw the sun. When he saw Allison he waved. "Morning, good to know that not all of us are sleeping in, how are your friends?" He walked over to Allison and looked at the horse. "Funny thing, I never learned how to ride one of those monsters, my father thought that this isn't really a skill I should learn..." He tried to imitate the deep voice of his father. "Son, we are hunters, if we wanted to ride animals, then we would ride an elk..." He laughed. "My brother really tried it once, he was drunk as hell and he ran faster then I've ever seen before, in the end, he was chased by an elk and two boars."

He looked over to the main house and asked himself if the boy from yesterday is still in there, maybe he should check it, they shouldn't trust anyone.

It was then that Peyton woke up, sitting up in his sleep suddenly, and breathing heavy. Yet another journey into his past, journeys that seemed to be happening much more frequently than normal. He climbed out of his bed slowly, twisting to the side first before setting his feet on the ground and standing up. He strapped his scabbard to his back, drawing his blade to check it for rough edges, an old habit from his days of war. There was something peculiar about this sword, he had purchased it nearly 3 years ago, and it hadn't grown dull or lost it's edge once, he had never had to sharpen it. He quickly abandoned the though and put the sword back in it's scabbard, unlocking his bedroom door and walking out.

Peyton knelt down and loosened yet another rock that had intentionally been left loose with a hollow inside. He pulled an axe from it, and threw the handle atop his right shoulder, whistling slightly as he walked into the forest like it was any old day and started cutting down tree after tree. 5 minutes of swinging, one large tree down. 10 minutes of swinging, 2 down. It wasn't long before he lost track of time and got into the rhythm of things, losing track of how much work he had gotten done.

Allison was caught off guard by Killian's sudden greeting, and jumped a bit as she turned to wave back. The she gave the man a small smile at his cheerful greeting.

"Mornin' Killian! The animals are fine, a little hungry though... I'm hopin' Peyton wakes up soon so I can talk to him about some stalls and maybe a fence to put up for 'em." She sighed as she thought about all the work that would be needed for these animals. Allison turned attentively to listen to Killian's story, laughing as he recounted the adventures with his brother.

"That sounds like a ton of fun! And if you're wantin' to learn how to ride, I could teach you? I have to get this stubborn thing broken in though. When I do I'll let you know, and maybe you'll be up for it then! Also you wouldnt happen to know where one could get a good wash around here? I'm really gross from yesterday." She laughed a bit and tugged at her clothes to make a point.

Abel stood and stretched a little. He did not know when he had fallen asleep, but in the end, it didn't matter. The sounds of working hands made their way into his ears-- something that would normally have deterred him from stepping outside. Still, the forest was beautiful and the earth beneath his bare feet was inviting. The soil had much to offer in more ways than one. He'd stay quiet for now. Besides, watching the others slave away was a little entertaining. Just what were they building anyhow? He shrugged and smiled a little, amused by the ease with which the lofty trees met the ground. "I bet the little rodents wish they'd shared their nuts now," he chuckled to himself.

Leinad swung his axe at another tree, it was insane, the majority of his project required stone, the fencing was what would require wood. So why cut down 30 trees? Oh because you lost count... Oh ok.... I will go back to narrating and mind reading. Ya sorry sir. Peyton wiped the sweat of his brow, sitting on the trunk of one of the trees he had just cut down. Moving all of this wood would require a horse that had already been broken in, something they didn't have. He might be able to chop the trees into smaller pieces to move them, but it wasn't effective. It would take all day to move them. He walked back over to where Allison and Kilian were talking, wiping the sweat from his brow, and taking a long sip from his flask. It was then that he spoke with a large grin. "Morning fair lady, and expert huntsman! I require a broken in horse to move the trees from there, to here. Or some way of moving them. "Boy! Over here! I require your assistance. Does anyone know if the Maiden is up yet?" (I swear my notifications aren't working for this thread, and I was busy this weekend and not with the super bowl.)

Kilian thought about Allisons question. "I saw a few streams deep in the forest but nothing like a lake and I heard that bandits are in this area, so you shouldn't go alone when you don't have a weapon."

He watched Peyton while he was cutting the trees. "is he going to cut down the whole forest?" Kilian laughed and answered Peyton when he came over to them. "Good morning my lord, if you need help with those trees, I could help, we still have enough food so I don't need to go hunting and maybe those branches could be used to make new arrows."

(couldn't write sooner, my life made some bitch moves)

Allison smiled at Killian’s concern.
“Well I suppose I should take Michelle with me then... she’s skilled with her bow isnt she?” suddenly she turned, hearing Peyton call to them.
“Good morning Peyton! If its a broken in horse you need, Im afraid we dont have one of those...but I was actually going to start training this beast today, so you should have one in no time dependin on how willing this guys is to learn... I meant to ask you about some stables for them as well... we are going to need a place to feed and water them.”

Mitchelle

Mitchelle just woke up as she rubbed her eyes she was slightly tired she was trying to get the sleep out of her eyes as she smiled brushing her hair she walked outside as she had her hair braided hearing her name. She had her bow and arrow she had her sword and shield took away she really didn't know how to use it" Morning Y'all" she says happy" did Y'all miss the awesomeness" she giggled as she was looking around she was good at the bow and arrow she didn't exactly do good with fighting but she taught herself how to be strong or at least she tried. She looked at the others as she smiled she wasn't that close to them just yet she just looked down she liked Alison but she hasn't really talked to anyone not that much she missed her family but she was okay she has a home now she really like Alison's food.

Kilian walked past Peyton. "So, when the horse isn't ready yet, then our manpower should suffice." He stopped when he heard Mitchelle. "Now the day got better, good morning young lady."

He looked over to Abel. "Now boy, you will help Peyton and me to drag those trees." He pretended to whisper to Peyton but was loud enough so everybody hears him. "We should keep an eye on him, Allison wants to clean herself and I know how young boys are." He waved at Abel with a wide grin.

Allison blushed at the comment and avoided Abel’s gaze, instead turning to Michelle.

“Uhm..if you dont mind, would you come with me down to the stream so i can wash myself? I dont want to trouble you... I want to take a bath before I try to break this stallion in.”

Michelle just looked at the Lady as she nodded" yes ma'am I don't mind besides I need a bath too I'm all dirty" she say as she smiled she just held onto her bow" you can call me mitchy if you want ma'am" she say happily she was comfortable work Alison she wasn't comfortable with the boys yet

Allison smiled happily and gave a small nod.

“Sure Mitchy, but you gotta stop callin me ma’am! Call me Allison! Or Allie if its easier.”

She shrugged and began to walk in the direction Killian had pointed to towards the streams. She beckoned Michelle to follow, happy to have company. Especially a girl’s company. She never really hung around girls all that much before, but she found their presence to be much more comforting.

Mitchelle

Mitchelle just looked at her as she giggled" sorry Ma' i mean Allie sorry I was always taught to respect people that are older than me man I really need a bath" she said as she giggled. She saw Alison was walking with her towards the stream she was excited about the bath" Hey Allie if you want you can stay in my room if you want " she says as she just heard something as she saw some tracks she never had killed anyone or hurt anyone it was only a animal as she smiled she wanted to let it be" we almost there Allie I hear the water stream" she told her as she pulled on her sleeve. Peyton ran off after them, pointing in the direction of the spring he uses. "Right through that patch of trees. It is fresh, and near enough to where if you need our help you can simply yell loudly, and the trees are dense enough to still offer privacy." He looked at Kilian with a laugh. "You do need to hunt at some point, so I would suggest doing so right after the trees. I need to work on my own hunting skills, so I can join you if you would like, I got the sneaking part down from my days of war."

Allison smiled at Peyton, thankful for his direction and gave him a small nod. Then she turned to Michelle.

“Oh really i dont want to intrude. I felt bad enough accidentally falling asleep in Peyton’s house! He told me he would build me a house as well, but i think he is going to work on the stalls and fence first! Those are the most important things. Then ill help him build whatever he needs help with!”

As they were talking, she didnt realize how fast they had approached the bubbling water. It was gorgeous here, and she stopped to admire her surroundings before stripping and stepping into the water. She was grateful for Michelle’s company. Allison was really beginning to like the girl. Although Michelle was a few years younger than the redhead, they seemed to be getting along quite well.

As she sunk into the cool water, she shivered. Finally though, it began to warm up. She was thankful that she could strip without having to do more... with William, whenever she would get dressed in the mornings, he always asked for more. More more more. And it was never enough for him in the end. Just thinking about him made her blood boiled, and for a minute she forgot where she was, just staring off into the distance angrily.
