In a world very much like our own, beings, that are nothing like us, hide in plain sight. These beings are only told about as being myths, legends, stories and most of all, supernatural and therefore unreal. Yet, nothing is less true. However, the humans of Nibenor are nothing wiser than we are. Or perhaps, Nibenor is no different than Earth after all, we will never know…

For as long as the citizens of Dolgas can remember, there have always been two colleges. The first one being Dolgas Academy, a bit on the East side of town. Just your normal everyday college, nothing special about it. Very easy accessible with a train station just a ten minute walk away for students from outside of Dolgas. The other college however is a completely different story. Valendor is hidden away in the heart of Vlidale, a forest north of Dolgas. There is only one road towards it, and it is a good hour drive from Dolgas. The citizens of Dolgas never really bothered, those who tried to venture the ground where stopped at the gates before seeing much. So it goes without saying that Valendor is a rather exclusive school, only open for those who are invited in. And the few rare glances the people did get of Valendor students only confirmed the suspicion it is a school that requires quite some money to get into.

However, disaster strikes! A storm rages over Dolgas and while most of the city is spared, Dolgas Academy is brought down to nothing more than ruins. Luckily, it happened at the first weekend of winter break, so only few students are still staying at the Academy dorms. And fortunately, all of them had been evacuated to the hospital in time. Though this is no place where the students can stay. Valendor comes with an answer as the school, for once, allow the gates and doors to open for these students while Dolgas Academy is rebuilt. And the students of Dolgas will, or will not, quickly find out that Valendor is indeed a very exclusive place to be. Not because of high scores and super intellect and not by being insanely wealthy. No, Valendor is exclusively for the supernatural… And not all of them are happy these humans suddenly roam around…

  Demon spawn, abomination, devil, are just some of the things that she’s been called, both to her face and behind her back. Absinthe takes it all in stride. she merely grins and agrees with those labels, wearing them with pride. She’s a wild card with a knack for getting into trouble in some shape or form, even when she doesn’t mean to. Absinthe or Sin as she’s often called, is the wrong crowd that people warn their kids about. The type of person who makes other people cross the street or lock their car doors. She’s a profanity-using, fight starting, rulebreaking being who tends to do as she pleases without a care in the world. consequences and feelings be damned. Absinthe is the calculating and cunning sort. Her devil may care personality leads people to believe that she’s not intelligent or doesn’t think things through. She’s a manipulative person with a knack for reading people, pinpointing their weaknesses and using it against them.   While her mother knew that she was going to be anything but a normal child, it was very obvious after she was born. Like all cambions Absinthe possessed all the signs of a stillborn, such as no pulse and breathing. This continued on up until she was seven year old however. While she looks like a normal human most of the time Absinthe does possess razor sharp claws and teeth that she brings forth when she wants. Her eyes are also able to bleed to black.

  Life-Force Absorption - Absinthe is able to feed off of the life-force of others through touch. Her feeding usually leaves the target feeling weak, as if their energy is being drained. If she holds on for too long it will result in death. The draining speeds up if she’s been too long without feeding.
  
  Supernatural Condition - She’s more durable than humans and even some supernatural creatures. Absinthe’s senses are enhanced, from her being able to see in the dark to hear things that are far away. Her strength is also enhanced, as well as her stamina, agility, speed, and healing. Absinthe can heal from mundane wounds, such as gunshots, stab wounds, and broken bones, in a short amount of time.
  
  Demonic Magic - As the daughter of a demon and a dark witch Absinthe has the ability to use dark magic. This ranges from hexs to potions and necromancy. She has a range of tomes with all sorts of knowledge on the dark and demonic arts.
  
  Darkness Manipulation - Absinthe uses this power of hers in many ways, mostly in the form of transportation, hiding or manipulating the shadows of objects or living things. Absinthe can solidify her darkness, creating shields or even weapons.

  Holy Object - Holy Object have the ability to hurt and kill her depending on how she’s exposed to it. Items like crosses, holy water, and rosaries burn her when they come into contact with her skin. Absinthe is unable to enter churches or any other sacred places, if she’s placed into one she becomes weaker.
  
  Demon’s Circle - Demons are usually summoned with the use of sigils and salt, creating a circle that can trap them in order to force them to do something for the summoner. Absinthe is no different and can be summoned using this method. Unless the circle is broken or she’s sent back to wherever she was with the correct phrase she cannot leave the circle.

• powers/magic/abilities — Being a Cú Chulainn (irish warrior), Isaac has supernatural senses, speed and strength. Although when in human form they are lessened, if he goes into a battle frenzy (known as ríastrad in irish) Isaac gains incredible strength and speed. The downside to this is that during the battle frenzy he will attack anything - friend or foe it does not matter. The battle frenzy will only overcome him in two situations. The first is self induced - Isaac can forcibly put himself into this state although he has never tried before. The second is emotional. If Isaac feels a certain emotion strong enough then he will enter the battle frenzy. This has only happened to him once and he would never like to repeat it. The battle frenzy turns Isaac into an unrecognisable monster. His eyes glow a dark, ember orange. His face is blank but body enlarges almost an extra foot. To leave this state when in it is extremely hard. Isaac has to somehow recognise himself, the last time this was done, his father used a mirror to do this.
  
  strengths — Along with his increased senses, speed and strength, Isaac has the ability to learn weapons and fighting style quicker than humans, usually within a year or two.
  
  weaknesses — Every ten years he must enter the frenzy or risk death. While in the frenzy, if he does not leave that state within twelve hours, his former self will be lost to the monster of ríastrad. His abilities can also be nullified by simple magic.
  
  tell tales — A distinct smell for those who have a heightened sense of smell. His scent reeks of both of pain and death. Another sign is his eyes will glow an ember orange if he is feeling one emotion very strongly.

  It would be a too long travel for a short time, since they live a nomad life. So it is not only going back home, but also tracking down the pack. Simply too much trouble (though he misses his pack very dearly)

  He has rather sharp features, with a very prominent and sharp jawline. His hair is as soft as it looks. He mostly brushes it through with his fingers and lets it be the unruly wavy mess it wants to be. His eyes are a very clear jade green color and often sparkling amused or interested when he is around other people. And of course, he has fully mastered that puppy eye look!

  As typical for his race, Aleksi has a pretty muscular build. Not overly muscular, since he is build for both strenght and endurance, but definitely well maintained. He stands 6'4" (1.93m) and weight 230 lbs (106kg). Again pure muscles. However despite how threatening his body could look like, he is one very big teddy bear and always makes sure to show a smile.
  
  Modifications
  Aleksi has no tattoos or piercings, since his skin is either too thick or too quick with healing. Despite the quicker healing of lycans, he has his scars from challenges and battles with mutts. He has a very noticeable slash over his chest from when a mutt attacked him in wolf form, while he was still in human form. More scars linger over his arms, legs, sides, and back, but are barely noteable.
  
  Fashion
  Anything that is comfortable and not to expensive. With his changes and behaviour he often ends up ripping or shredding his clothes, so he tries to keep the costs to a minimum. Mostly you will see him wandering without a shirt anyway. He is oddly found of his leather jacket and he will wear a open vest or something over his bare body when it is required to cover up. For shoes he mostly chooses sneakers. He can dress up, but he will feel very uncomfortable when he does and it will show in his behaviour and posture.

• Best attributes
  Responsible - He is reliable and trustworthy. Even though Aleksi looks like some lacksadaisy person, he knows he is accountable for his own actions and he will never step away from the consequences his behaviour has. Wether he was aware of them or not.
  Loyal - Perhaps it is a wolf trait, perhaps it is also part of himself, but he is loyal to the bone. He will always have your back and you can always count on him.
  Outgoing - He is very social, he loves making friends and he is easy to approach, despite his somewhat scary appearance to some. He loves just hanging out with people and he likes to accompany his friends, or even total strangers, with the dullest of errands to make it a fun adventure.
  Optimistic - He always can come up with a something positive and bright even when it seems impossible. He is not someone to just give up when things get a bit more difficult. He will always (try to) find a good thing about something that seems so bad.
  Humble - He doesn't have an ounce of arrogance and will treat anyone with the same respect. He is just himself and will be honest to everyone. He won't pretend to be more or better than he is and he stands for what he believes in.
  
  Worst attributes
  Temper - Though he is overall very sweet and friendly, if you rub him wrong or push him too far, he lashes out. His anger will come quick and it will just be a lash out, but it can be very violent. Don't worry, he will give you plenty of warnings on beforehand. Luckily he is not one to hold grudges!
  Invasive and intruding - Privacy is a concept that Aleksi does not understand. He knows a locked door means 'do not enter' and a closed door mean 'do not disturb', but other than that he will barge in whenever and however he feels like. Even if he might knock, his waiting time for a response is five seconds. On a good day.
  Territorial - Growing up in a pack means sharing everything and he doesn't mind. Most of the time. There are just a few things that he does claim as his own and you better do not touch those. This also applies to his favorite humans, and definitely if he has a lover/mate. Jealously and possessiveness will spike then and he will try to claim every second of your attention.
  Overprotective - Especially over those he views as weaker or younger than himself.
  Highly competitive - Aleksi is highly competitive, and he is not a good loser. He will make almost anything into a contest, especially if it involves his own strenghts. The urge to prove himself is stronger around males, then females. But yes, showing weakness or letting someone else have the better is not in his nature as a lycan, beta and just his person.
  
  Hobbies and sports
  Working out - If you could not tell from his physique already, Aleksi loves to work out. He does so daily, both for building muscles as cardio for his stamina. He prefers to do so in the woods, or at least outdoors.
  Hiking - He loves to go on a good long hike. Definitely if it involves some mountain climbing.
  Running - Again, just for keeping the stamina and part of being lycan.
  Cooking - Lycans need a lot of food, so he is a great cook and he absolutely enjoys spending time in the kitchen. Especially pancakes and waffles are his favorite to make, since it makes people so very happy.
  
  Petpeeves
  Being grabbed or touched around the neck and throat - While he is a very touchy feely guy and loves close body contact and skinship, he hates it when someone touches his neck or throat. It is just a defense mechanism that he cannot shut off.
  Being tickled under his feet - He doesn't understand the fun of it. He will kick, accidental or not. Just don't try.
  Strong perfume or (chemical) scents - He has a sensitive nose. So it irritates him and gives him headaches.
  Having to wear clothes - He really doesn't like it. Especially sweaters will drive him crazy. He will do it, but boy, he won't be happy about it.
  

  

  
  
• Power and abilities
  Transformation - As pretty general well known lycans can transform into wolves. However this is not an easy and quick progress. It will take some time and it will hurt to have your body adjust to that of a wolf and vice versa. Unlike popular believe, the moon has little to do with the progress as they can change out of free will, though the urge to run and change does get stronger with full moon and he will have more energy with a full moon. During their (full) transformation, lycans are at their most vulnerable, stuck between their human and wolf form they are unable to protect themselves in any way or form. Lycans can also do only part tranformation, though this takes a lot of concentration and exercising. After a full transformation a lycan will always be stark naked as the day he or she was born.
  

  

  
  
  Strenghts
  Enhances healing - He is not invincible or immortal, but lycans do heal quicker than humans. They can also sustain more sever wounds than a human.
  Enhanced smell and hearing - Even in human form they have an enhanced smell and hearing.
  High endurance - Wolves are known for their high endurance and ability to keep on going for along time and long distance. This is no different for lycans, though it needs to be well maintained and trained.
  
  Weaknesses
  Silver - Most well known weakness of a lycan. There is something in their DNA that gives them an allergy to argentum (or silver). It can cause the lycan to go into anaphylactic shock, which can be lethal. Depending on how the lycan comes into contact with the silver it can also cause metal poisoning. If the contact with the silver is only short it can cause burning of the skin or hives over the skin. Silver in the eyes can cause permanent or temporarily blindness.
  Mooncycle - It can be seen both as a weakness and a strenght. Where the full moon gives them extra energy and strenght, a new moon leaves them often to be moody and tired. Their natural enhancements are not as stong during a new moon either. During a lunar eclipse, lycans are at their most vulnerable and have no advantages to an ordinary human.
  
  Tell tales
  Eyes - When a lycan is hurt their true eyes will shine through for a moment when the sensation of pain hits. In Aleksi case, this means his eyes will turn dark golden.
  Behaviour - Definitely if they are in a pack, you can see the chain of command and the pack behaviour very clearly. When they are alone, it is a lot harder to tell, but if you observe them long enough, you can see some signs of the wolf blood that runs through their veins.
  Body temperature - Lycans have a higher body temperature then humans. It is mostly around the 38 - 39 degrees celsius, which would be a fever for humans.
  
  Stance on other races
  The Eryna pack is a pretty lonely pack, so they don't come into contact with other beings much. Apart from mutts, Aleksi is pretty much easy going and open to anyone else. However magic does make him a bit uncomfortable, just because it is something that he does not understand.

  Azuris has a bit of a baby face, which is probably due to the oval shape of it and the bundle of black curls on top of it. He has wide set monolid eyes, that are deep onyx in color. He has slightly pouty lips. His expression is mostly rather bored and unimpressed.
  
  Body
  He has a pretty much average looking body. Nothing really special about it. His aprreance is really not that impressive, standing only 5'6" (1.68m) and weighing no more than 126lbs (57kg). However he does have quite some muscles in his shoulders from swimming. Even though most power comes from his tail, this does not translate to overly muscular legs.
  
  Modifications
  He has no modifications of the body yet, though he is looking into tattoo arts. It really intrigues him, but he has no idea how his body will react to that.
  
  Fashion
  Azuris loves to cover up, even if he isn't that cold. Without water surrounding him or being able to cover up in scales, he feels naked and vulnerable. So, you will mostly see him wearing hoodies or sweaters. Turtlenecks are an absolute favorite for him. As for pants, he doesn't care that much. Simple jeans will do, but he doesn't shy away from dress pants or jogging pants either. He, however, does dislike a lot of print or a lot of different colors. So he will mostly pick one (bright) color for his sweater and keep the rest simple in black or demin.

• Best attributes
  Resourceful - Azuris can take care of himself and he can easily adjust to all kind of situations. He doesn't need much to survive and he is rather skillful at making use of whatever is provided to make things comfortable for himself.
  Diplomatic - He knows the rules of social interaction and he knows how to calm down a fight, as long as he is not one of the involved parties. He can help others see each others point of view and help them come to a solution
  Creative - He is a very good out of the box thinker and can come up with the weirdest solutions that others might not have thought of. He also has a wide imagination, which he can use to distract others by telling the craziest stories.
  Curious - Despite not being the most approachable person around, he is a very curious being. He will often try to hide it, and try to find whatever information he desires in the books or by other means than asking someone to teach him.
  Truthful - He won't ever tell a lie or bend the truth to his own benefit. He is not one to manipulate another being, mostly for it would take way too much effort to do so to be of an actual use to him. However this can also make him a bit blunt, or even rude at times.
  
  Worst attributes
  Evasive - Azuris doesn't like letting others get close to him, both in relationships with him as well as in a physical way. It is a way to protect himself, as well as the other, as well as a certain unease to not knowing how to handle the situation. Thus if someone gets to close, he will start to avoid them.
  Inhibited - He has trouble with truly expressing his emotions, so it is simpler for him to surpress all of it. Merpeople are beings of logic, rather than giving into silly impulses and urges that would not be benifitical.
  Arrogant - While he may not think he is the best. He thinks himself as being better than most others. Often even ignores those that he thinks are not worth his attention.
  Inconsiderate - Azuris often forgets to take other peoples feelings in account. He does mean no harm, but he often forgets that other people might not follow his believes, thoughts or have a different opinion or feelings.
  Vengeful - If you (purposely) hurt him, he will hurt you. He is a star in keepin grudges and he might not immediately retaliate if you insult him, but it will come. In time. When he finds the perfect moment to return the 'favor'. However, if you do apologize, he will accept that and not continue his revenge.
  
  Hobbies and sports
  Swimming - Not much of a surprise there, is it? It is just a natural thing for him to want to be surrounded by water as much as possible. Preferable the ocean, or at the very least natural waters.
  Oregami - He has no idea why, but he likes folding things. Challenging himself with more difficult patterns and being able to make them is very satisfying. Working on the little pieces is calming and almost meditative.
  
  Petpeeves
  Being asked how he uses a fork - Or anything else relating to the little mermaid. Those jokes are getting old and boring. If it is brought up, he will just grab his stuff and get out.
  Unnecessary body contact - He absolutely can not stand being touched for no reason at all.
  
  

  

  
  
• Power and abilities
  Tail - When in (salt) water, Azuris can transform his legs into a tail. It both helps him with speed as well as agility under water. He can chose to keep his legs, but transforming to a tail will feel most natural. It will also happen when he happens to fall asleep in the water or if he is brought into the water in an unconcious state.
  Underwater breathing - Azuris can filter oxygen out of the water, just like a fish. So he can stay underwater basically his whole life if he wants too.
  Echo location - Underwater you can't really talk so most mermaids communicate in a mix of sign language and clicking and whistling sounds. However this only works underwater.
  

  

  
  
  Strenghts
  Protective scales - While the scaled tail is the most common sight of a mermaid, Azuris can cover every bodypart in scales if he so wishes. Their scales are very durable and almost impenetrable. Scaling up his skin can also happen when he is extremely mad or when he shocks. It is a natural reaction to pain and the risk of getting hurt. They can also become very sharp, like little razorblades, if he is in an extremely dangerous situation.
  
  Weaknesses
  Draught - While Azuris can withstand high as well as low temperatures, drought or dryness is something that he cannot coop with. If they are too long out of the water, even in the form of a bath or shower, they will lose their strength. After a mere 8 hours, they will start to feel weakened. Around 24 hours without any access to water they will start to dry out, which shows in scales losing color and their skin starting to flake and peel off. Having no access to water in any form for more than 48 hours could very much be fatal.

Why did you not go home for the winterbreak?
He was working on a few projects that he can't stand to leave, so he decided to stay at school over winter break to work on them (luckily he wasn't too badly injured when the school collapsed). That remains his excuse for going to Valendor for the time being, but in reality he has a couple of other reasons. First of all, they would never pass up the chance to see the Valendor (it's just too mysterious, it's irresistible). And second, he loves his family, but he isn't entirely ready to deal with their concern over him and his injuries.

Spoiler: Appearance

Face: He has brown hair that's usually a bit messy (he just combs it in the morning). Their eyes are a chocolate brown, but look a but more caramel-y in certain lightings. He has a few freckles scattered across his face, but they're a bit faint (they get a lot more noticeable if he's been in the sun for a while). They almost always have a goofy-looking grin on their face.

Body: He stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall and is fairly boney (they weigh about 109 pounds). He has a bit more muscle mass on his legs (calves and thighs primarily), but not an extremely noticeable amount. They have various scars dotting their body (they've been accumulated over many years of being clumsy) which mainly congregate around their arms and legs. For the most part, he looks like your average teenager.
Currently, he has a few various injuries from when the school collapsed. He's been released from the hospital, but some stubborn cuts and bruises still dot his body. A noticeable bruise sits on his jaw, there's a cut on his bottom lip, and a scrape on his forehead. Their left wrist is currently in a brace (they should be able to remove it in a week or two).

Modifications: None, he hates needles too much to get any (ignore the ones in the faceclaim, I realized they were there a bit too late)

Fashion: Finn prioritizes comfort. Their wardrobe consists mostly of hoodies (usually plain in color), t-shirts (usually brightly colored with various phrases and pictures in them, their favorite just says "vest" on it), jeans, jean shorts, and a pair of sneakers that he wears literally every day (they're black and white with a few light blue accents).

Friendly - Imagine a golden retriever. Now turn them into a person. You now have at least some idea of what Finn is like. They love making new friends, and hanging out with old ones. He's always willing to do someone a favor (even if they haven't been as kind to him in the past). If he sees someone left out, then he'll be sure to drag them into the action.
Clever - Finn always has a few ideas brewing in their head. They are quick on the uptake and their approach to problems is... odd, but (more often than not) effective. His ideas are out of the box (though, some might say that this is due to him not knowing where the box is).
Energetic - With Finn, there is never a dull moment. They are always on the move, even when they aren't entirely sure why. While this does result in a lot of fidgeting (beware those who sit at a table with them, their leg bouncing will shake it enough to upset anything placed on it), it comes in handy in the ways of productivity. He is always working on something (or, to be exact, many somethings). He wouldn't be Finn if he didn't have 27 and a half projects going at any given moment.
Cheerful - Finn is relentlessly cheerful and optimistic. The sun could go out and he would go on smiling. They are determined to be a light, no matter how dark everything else gets.
Curious - Finn is always curious. If he is even vaguely interested in a subject then he will take any opportunity to learn about it. How does a bee's venom work? Why does that one kid always seem to have a peppermint with them? What's your theory on the meaning of that one chapter in that book you've been reading? He wants to know it all. If you want to ramble about a niche topic, then Finn wants to listen.

Five worst attributes:
Gullible - The extent of his friendliness is oftentimes ridiculous. His trust is boundless in the worst of situations. If you gave them cookies and then made a point of aggressively telling them that they weren't poisoned, they would still eat them (and then, after suffering the consequences of whatever poison you definitely didn't put in there, they would still believe that it was just a coincidence because you would never do something so mean).
Oblivious - Socially speaking (and sometimes just in general, depending on how focused they are on whatever they happen to be doing), Finn is oblivious. Sarcasm often flies over his head. As does most "hints" that people may give about various things. This, combined with the fact that they are quite distractible, has made problems for them on many an occasion.
Impatient - Have you realized how long ten minutes is? Finn has. Depending on what you're doing, it could be a horribly long amount of time. Six hundred seconds? Are you kidding? That is a very long amount of time to do nothing for. They just need to be doing something. It doesn't have to be important, but it must be something. And don't even get him started on waiting for something he knows will be exciting. What do you mean they have to wait an entire day until they can do it?!
Impulsive - This has quite a bit to do with his impatience. He's a little bit impulsive on a good day, but get them bored enough and they will decide that it's time to see what cereal and mayonnaise tastes like together. Finn has a tendency to act without thinking. By the time he's realized that he wanted to climb a tree, he is already six feet off the ground.
Repressed - His cheerfulness, though uplifting at times, is not always true. After all, no one is happy all the time. They have a tendency to repress their emotions (especially recent ones about a certain building collapsing on them). Though they can stay bottled up for a concerningly long amount of time, they have to come out eventually. Too much stress and that bottle isn't just gonna pop, it'll shatter.

Hobbies and sports:
Running - Running is the one thing that can begin to keep Finn's energy in check. They are one of those annoying morning people who get up early to go for a run. Without his morning run, Finn will be even more fidgety and energetic than normal (they like to compare it to a morning coffee). They do not do it as a sport for any school team.
Baking - Finn loves baking and is pretty good at it. They can't promise that the product will be pretty, but it will certainly taste good. Cookies (especially macarons) are their favorite to bake. They can't resist stealing a bite or two of raw dough (Salmonella? Never heard of her).
Gardening - He likes growing his own plants, both ornamental and functional. His favorite plants are succulents because they're easy to keep alive, but blackberry vines are a close second (they have one at home). In his old dorm he had many potted plants (some thriving, others very much not), but they're just among the rubble now.
Fleeting interests - Finn has taken up (and dropped) many, many hobbies. As a result of this, they have extremely basic (and sometimes less-than-basic) skills in a number of hobbies. This includes: lockpicking, embroidery, various video games, table tennis, and darts. Once again, it is worth noting that he is by no means good at any of these hobbies. In some, he is not even average. He just partakes in them (or used to partake in them) on occasion.

Petpeeves:
Slow walkers - Impatience. Constantly is moving. Need I say more?
Slow talkers - Gosh, he doesn't want to be mean, but if he has to sit here for another minute while this person talks at the speed of a kindergarten teacher, he's gonna start climbing a tree out of boredom.
Loud noises - Finn has never liked loud noises, but their dislike has been heightened recently. It's become a bit less of a pet peeve and more of an extreme dislike of all things that sound like a crash, boom, or crack (some might even say a fear. But no, never. Finn? Being scared? They're happy all the time, that would never happen).

Powers/magic/abilities: None (at least none that are supernatural. They do have the ability to cook a really good macaron, though)

Strengths: Physically speaking, Finn is fairly quick (he is a runner after all). He also has high stamina (he runs long distance). At the end of the day, he is still human, and his abilities lie only within what a human can do.

Weaknesses: He's not very strong, not even for a human. He also has very little experience with fighting.

Body: Hannicus stands at 5'11 and is leanly built. He does not (yet) have any overt Deep One features, but when under significant stress, hints of gills might sprout from his neck and mild webbing from his extremities. Hannicus has the mark of Nyarlathotep carved into his back and assorted symbols on his chest.

Clothing/Accessories: Typically wears what he finds at the top of his wardrobe. Hannicus favors casual, unassuming wear like swearshirts and jeans. However, in gatherings of great religious import, Hannicus keeps around the ceremonial Pastafarian garb- black robes with green and gold markings in a lost, horrific tongue, and the red hood he kept from his days as a cult follower.

Easygoing- Besides matters regarding his faith, Hannicus is not a pushy fellow and pretty easy to get along and work with.

Fanaticism- Additionally, when he believes he's received a sign from Nyarlathotep or one of the Great Old Ones, Hannicus will act upon it without hesitation or restraint, no matter what the deed may be. He has committed great atrocities in the name of his God while serving in Virreur.

Indecisiveness- Due to his reliance on spiritual direction, Hannicus can prove somewhat lost when forced to make difficult decisions without the guidance of Nyarlathotep or Azathoth. In that regard, he is better in a supportive role in group situations.

Bad Liar- Hannicus is generally lousy at making shit up, and tends to be crap under such pressures.

Callousness- As someone who was part of a pretty extreme cult, Hannicus has seen and done some horrible shit. As such, he is more willing to overlook and ignore injustices than most.

Backsliders- Although he generally can get along with those of other faiths, if there is one thing that Hannicus cannot abide, it is those who were on the path of the God of a Thousand Forms but have fallen off the path, either due to cowardice or loss of faith.

Supernatural:

Like most would-be Deep Ones, Hannicus simply has ancestry that at some point involved Innsmouth and mating with a Deep One- likely his great-grandfather who was either taken by some fish-folk against his consent or for some reason decided he enjoyed the feeling of scales on his member. Either way, Hannicus will eventually transform fully into a Deep One (to his dismay) where he will join his kind under the sea.

At the age of 15, Hannicus joined the Virreur Clergy of the Black Wind where his devotion and zealotry led to him becoming a member of the clergy. They engaged in unspeakable acts of worship in the cursed city, , with Hannicus having the great ambition to rise to become one of Nyarlathotep's acolytes, even his high priest. Alas, this was not to be- at some point, a man called Robert Hirschfield- who became known to all in the circle as the Great Heretic, the Accursed One- made off with a great text- the Long Scripture of Nyarlathotep. Without this guidance, the cult fell apart, and Hannicus lost direction in his life. He and a few devotees tracked Robert to Dolgas, where he received a calling for the first time in over a year- he would reconstruct the Long Scripture through the arcane knowledge within Valendor's libraries- as a being of supernatural heritage, he was the only one capable of this.

Although in reluctant transition to a Deep One, for now Hannicus possesses little of their superhuman strength and aquatic abilities. However, as a former member of the Virreur Clergy of the Black Wind, Hannicus is privy to a handful of black arts.

Black Speech of Nyarlathotep: When in sync with his sovereign, Hannicus becomes capable of speaking in the tongue of the Ancient Ones, appealing to a deep and primordial fear in all earthly mortals and causing a great degree of intimidation and horror.

Long Claws of Nyarlathotep: More rarely, when he has established a true spiritual connection, Hannicus become capable of performing true magic in the name of the Great Old Ones.

Aquatic Tendency: His heritage means that Greencoast is an above-average swimmer- which means he's on the level of a pro-swimmer in the water despite his average physique, but nothing remotely supernatural.

Weaknesses:

Unreliability- The extent of Hannicus' black magic is reliant on his connection with his Dweller in the Dark....which isn't exactly at a high, especially after the theft of the Great Scripture. As such, with his Deep One features still basically vestigial, much of the time Hannicus is...

Only Human- Hannicus is basically a regular joe, and one with a mostly average physique at that. As such, he stands little chance in direct combat with the likes of vampires, werewolves and demons.

Fish out of Water- Despite being in early stage of 'development', Hannicus is still more tied to water than your average person, and tends to suffer more in humid/hot weather than your average person.

Tell Tales: Hannicus sprouts faint, blue gills on his neck and webbing between his fingers and toes when under great stress. His slightly green hair also hints at his heritage.

Powers: Sam has the ability to manipulate shadows, and is able to make orbs, or shapes out of them, as well as cloak a room in darkness. He also has “living” shadows that are always present, usually crawling over his sin like tattoos that look like arrows or snakes. They can talk to him (and anyone, really) and each have their own distinctive personality. They can also travel away from Sam, and get him into trouble.

Sam also has wings, and can fly.

Strengths: Sam is well versed in physical combat, and can hold his own in a fight. He is loyal, steadfast and to those he likes there is no better friend. He’s very intelligent and doesn’t take any crap.

Weaknesses: Sam is arrogant, angry and sometimes rude. He doesn’t like people, so he doesn’t have many (okay, let’s be real, any) friends. If his wings are injured he’s all but incapacitated. Sam doesn’t allow people to touch his wings as they are extremely sensitive.

Sam is tall, about 6’5” of hulking muscle and crankiness. He has dark brown, almost black hair that falls across his forehead, which is offset by his light golden tan. His eyes are grey-green, an odd color but his nonetheless. His wide eyes are fringed with long, fluffy lashes. He has a gently sloping nose, and a nicely proportioned mouth, often set in a scowl. As Nephillim, much like fae, vampires and most other supernatural creatures, Sam has sharp, elongated canines that he is quite fond of baring.

Extending from his back, Sam has large, feathered wings (do not ask him is he’s an angel). The feathers are mostly light grey, with a few darker grey, white and gold feathers thrown in for fun. His shadows give him the appearance of having tattoos, but he only has one, over his heart, which covers up a large scar. It’s a stylized snake.

• Power and abilities
  Anti-Aging - Vampires are often believed to be immortal, but they are not. They can be killed, but it just takes very specific ways to kill them thanks to their superb healing. As long as they have access to blood, they can heal from almost every wound and injuries. So how do you kill a vampire? Beheading is one way, as they cannot regrow limbs. Another way it taking the heart out of the body, since they need it to pump the blood through their body. Burning them completely to ashes, at the very least make sure the heart is burned, for they can heal from severe burnings as well. Bloodletting, if you suck a vampire dry of blood it will die (how ironical). So, typically they just age very slowly and a regular meal of blood keeps them young.
  
  Gravity manipulation - Tehuri can manipulate points of gravity of herself, her victims, enemies and allies, and objects. She can change it so that there is either no gravity pull, a much stronger gravity pull or the center of gravity comes from a different directions. This can either root someone in place, or make them survive a fall from a fifteen story building by letting them gently float to the ground like a sheet of paper. With adjusting the center of gravity, she can climb up walls and even walk among ceilings as if it is nothing out of ordinary. Objectwise it can appear that she has telekinesis by making them float towards her, or their destination, with the help of changing gravity points.
  
  Memory control - When she feeds of her victim, she has access to their most recent memories. She can also erase recent memories, like the fact she is feeding from you. This power can also be trigger when the person she is touching happens to go through an extreme emotion.
  
  Hemokinesis - She can control blood, as long as she has a blood source. This can either be her 'own' blood, or from any one else, as long as there is an open wound. She can purify blood in case of poisoning, she can stop (lethal) bleedings, she can command and bend blood to her will by solifying it and crystalizing it into weapons or shields. The last thing being a rather dangerous thing to do, since it does cost a lot of blood to do that.
  
  Changing/Turning - As a full blood vampire, Tehuri can change other beings into a vampire as well. However this doesn't happen on the first bite. First the person will have to be injected with a special venom from her fangs that will bring the vampire gene into their bloodstream. After this the person will be a half vampire. If it is not renewed, the halfling will graduately lose their vampire gene and return to their former state. Most of the time the gene stays around for about half a year to a year. One can only be fully turned by drinking the blood of a vampire, after being injected. Then the person will be a turned vampire, and this will be for the rest of their life. They will have all strenghts of a vampires, and all drawbacks as well. And they will always have to respond to the their vampire sire demands.
  
  Strenghts
  Enhanced senses - Like every vampire, Tehuris senses and reflexes are very much enhances. This includes also perfect night vision.
  Enhanced healing - As mentioned before, vampires can heal from almost every wound and injury. They also heal faster than most being. However for sever injuries, fresh blood will be needed to heal up. There are limits however, she can not reattach limps or body parts that are fully cut off from her body and she cannot regrow bodyparts.
  
  Weaknesses
  Sunlight/UV light - Tehuri is an ancient being, so by now she has gotten some resistance against the light, but she will still burn fairly easy. Long exposure is deadly for vampires, because it will eventually burn their heart, if they have no access to blood to heal. She can stay out in the sun for about an hour, but will have a severe sunburn by then. When she can stay in the shadows or it is an extremely cloudy day, she might be able to push it to two, or even three, hours.
  Stroboscope/flashes - Her enhanced vision is made for darkness, thus she cannot handle light that well, let alone sudden light. Definitely ongoing flashes (such as stroboscopes tend to do) will keep her completely frozen in place and basically blind. Flashes (for instance from a camera) will lead to momentarily blind spells.
  Holy objects - Vampires have a sever allergy against all that is holy, thus it will cause extreme burnings or hives. Sometimes even so sever, it will leave scars. This also means they cannot go on holy grounds or buildings. Nor feed on the blood of angels, or their nephilims.
  Bloodlust - If she doesn't feed regularly, or is extremely injured to the brick of death, she will go into bloodlust. Her eyes will be blood red and her fangs will be even longer than they are in their usual state (like those of a venomous snake). She will feed on anything with a beating heart and thus a bloodstream.
  
  Tell tales
  Eyes and teeth - Even though her eyes are usually emerald, when she uses her powers or hasn't fed in a long time, the bloodred color will slowly shine through. Her canines are naturally longer and sharper than those of a human, the longer she doesn't feed the more obvious they become.
  No heartbeat - Tehuri has no heartbeat, other than up to an hour after feeding.
  Unable to enter without invitation - Tehuri is unable to enter personal spaces without an invitation from the owner. Younger vampires however do not seem to have these problems, but it is still very strong in the ancient vampires. It most likely has to do with most houses being blessed back in the day against evil, and by inviting someone in it was show that person was not a evil threat, thus the blessing would not work against them.
  
  Stance on other races
  She is civil and respectful to all races and beings, but she certainly has her preferences, based on the taste of their blood.   Mori has short, usually disheveled, dark brown hair. He keeps it a bit long on all sides as well as the top, which means it’s always falling down over his face. His eyes are almond-shaped and accompanied by thin, curved eyebrows. They are very deep brown, almost black in color in most light. He has a triangular jaw, a long, straight nose, high cheekbones, and full lips, thought his bottom lip is a bit thicker than his upper one. His face is completed with a clean shaven look.

  Mori, like the rest of his species, is very short, standing at a total height of 5’4”. Since foxes don’t particularly like fighting or confrontation, Mori has very little muscle mass, so he weighs only 185 lbs with a very lean body type.

  While Mori cannot get tattoos drawn onto his skin the way humans can due to his enhanced healing abilities, he does have markings that resemble tattoos. In his human form, his tails assume the form of a tattoo on his lower back. The tattoo is of a fox, who at the present time, has three tails. Each time Mori gains a tail, another tail appears on the tattoo. He has no scars.

  Clever - Despite sometimes having difficulty catching on to things, once he does, Mori is very quick to understand them. He learns very quickly and can easily come up with ideas or plans for things others may struggle to. He loves to think outside of the box.
  
  Resourceful - Mori can make something out of pretty much anything. He is very in tune with his surroundings, and if he needs something he doesn’t have with him, he’ll make it out of something else or come up with something that will do the same job.
  
  Level-Headed - It is very hard to get Mori angry. Whenever he starts to become annoyed or mad, he chooses to find a civil, diplomatic way to handle the situation rather than resort to more unkind or violent means.

  Mischievous - As a fox, it is in Mori’s very nature to be a trickster. Due to his age, he doesn’t really bother with small pranks any longer, but he loves to play games, and he try will to turn everything into one.
  
  Manipulative - This kind of goes hand in hand with Mori’s tendency for causing mischief. He doesn’t have any issues telling little white lies or influencing another person or a situation for his own amusement.
  
  Oblivious - Due to spending his first century of life as a fox before he learned to take on his human form, Mori can be very oblivious to what goes on around him sometimes. This means that he sometimes doesn’t know when he’s being hurtful, and can come as apathetic or unkind. It also means he usually can’t pick up on flirting or unkindness directed at him.
  
  Insubordinate - If there’s one thing Mori can’t stand, it’s authority. He hates being told what to do, and if you patronize him, you’re basically asking to make an enemy. Being talked down to is intolerable to him, even if the person is older than he is.
  
  Possessive - If Mori believes something belongs to him, he will be very attached to it and he will protect it with his life. However, especially in the instance of friends or lovers, this means that he can very easily become jealous when their attention falls on someone else and doesn’t like to be separated from them for long periods of time.

• Power and abilities
  As a Thunder Kitsune, Mori’s strongest and most prominent power is his ability to conjure and control lightning and electricity, which he calls Fox Fire. This power is always available to him, but without contact to a source of electricity or a natural thunderstorm, his power can become drained and he will have to replenish it before he can use it again without harming himself.
  
  Another ability Mori possesses is that of dream-walking. He can insert himself into the dreams of others in order to talk to or communicate with them, or can manipulate their dreamscape to show them whatever he wants them to see. This gives him the ability to turn dreams to nightmares and vice versa. However, Mori can only do this when he is asleep, and it makes him very tired himself. If he overuses this ability, it will cause painful migraines and in extreme cases, inability to distinguish between dreams and reality.
  
  Mori’s final ability is transformation. He possesses the ability to shape-shift between the full form of a fox and a human form. There is no limitation to this transformation, and he is able to change by his own free will. He is unaffected by full moons, but new moons trap him in his fox form until the moon cycle restarts. His fox form currently exhibits three tails and is orange, black, and white in color. When he earns his ninth tail, his fur will turn solid white to show his mastery of his form. Along with this ability to shape-shift comes the enhanced healing and senses of his fox form.
  
  Strenghts
  Mori’s greatest strength his ability to take extra power from sources of electricity and thunderstorms, though power taken from thunderstorms is far stronger and longer-lasting than that from sources of electricity. His other strengths include his ability to shift quickly between fox and human and manipulate dreams.
  
  Weaknesses
  Mori has three main weaknesses. The first is canines. Whether it be natural dogs, skinwalkers, or werewolves, Mori is deathly afraid of canines. He can handle being around supernatural canines while they are in their human forms, but if they come too close to him in their canine forms, it cause him to involuntarily shift into his fox form and hide.
  
  His other two weaknesses denote the ways to kill him. One is his tails. Like an Angel’s wings, a kitsune’s tails are highly sensitive to injury, and damaging them can leave him crippled and in agony. Cutting off all of a kitsune’s tails is one of only two ways to kill them. All kitsune also have one most prized and well-guarded possession: their star ball. A kitsune’s star ball is their life force contained in a single place. Taking a Kitsune’s star ball away from them allows the thief to control the kitsune and bend them to their will. Destroying a kitsune’s star ball is the only other way to kill them. Mori keeps his star ball in an amulet that he wears around his neck.
  
  Tell tales
  There are three main ways to tell what Mori is without seeing him shift or having him or someone else tell you. One is that Mori is surrounded by his aura, which is like a fire in the silhouette of a fox around his body. It is not detectable by the naked eye, but it is picked up in photographs. Another is that should Mori lose control of his emotions or become too relaxed, characteristics of his fox form can show through. Primarily, his tails will appear, his eyes will turn orange, and fox ears will sprout from his head. Lastly, the tattoo on Mori’s back is infused with his fox spirit, and it will sometimes move, running along his skin in a playful manner.
  
  Stance on other races
  Mori does not have any particular like or dislikes for any species, but he tends to avoid werewolves and skinwalkers, as he and his fox spirit are terribly fearful of them.   While Corinna isn’t exactly athletically inclined, she does have a moderate amount of muscles. She was a flat stomach with small, barely visible abs, and slightly toned arms and legs.   Intellectual – Corinna likes to think outside of the box, especially when regarding her studies. She’s very intelligent and spends a lot of her time in the library reading dusty old books and researching all the words great, mysterious myths and legends, a subject which she is very passionate about.
  
  Intuitive – Corinna has no issues following her instincts. If something sees strange or out of the ordinary to her, she will go out of her way to investigate it. Powers/magic/abilities:

Shapeshift- Aspen can shapeshift into the form of a Red Deer. The animal isn't as manly as he would like, so he only shapeshifts if he really feels like he must.

Pacts and Deals- Any living creature can make a deal or pact with the fae in order to gain some sort of advantage or blessing in their life. The Fae can be tricky, and one must word their deal carefully to ensure they don't end up getting swindled.

Minor Fire Manipulation- The fae of the Autumn Court are born with the ability to manipulate fire, with the Autumn King being the most powerful. Aspen and his twin sister are the youngest of the King's children, and as such their fire abilities are weak compared to those above them. Aspen usually uses his magic as some kind of party trick or pick up line as opposed to something practical.

Weaknesses:

Iron- The metal is deadly to the fae. Aspen avoids it as much as he can, but sometimes that's hard in the modern world.

Cannot lie- The fae are unable to lie. At best they can tell half truths. The fae will do what they can to manipulate others.
