Introduction
Vale City is a peculiar city where the unordinary is the normal, and the mundane can become extraordinary. Those who live in the city think nothing of the oddities and some become integral pieces of the very things that make the city as enigmatic as it is. As for myself, well, I'd like to believe I'm one of the few ordinary people in this city, but I'm most likely another oddity among its streets. If you look hard enough you'll be sure to find yourself caught up in some sort of mess without even realizing it. Or maybe you'll be the one to cause a scene. Regardless, you can't really say Vale City is calm, but rather that it has its periods of serenity before things become loud again. Who knows… maybe tomorrow I'll end up finding myself mixed up with an urban legend. Anything is possible in Vale City.
What is Vale City X?
Vale City X is a modern fantasy roleplay in which you will play as an individual of your design who ultimately will affect how the stories progress throughout the duration of the roleplay. The roleplay as a whole is inspired by Durarara, an anime with great animation and astounding storytelling (at least if you ask me) in which the strange is not so strange for the main characters.
As such, your characters will also be encountering various unique storylines that will affect future storylines as well as the development of NPCs and PCs alike. Romance, violence, mystery, the mundane, and a dash of fantasy are all things you can expect to find in Vale City X.

Q: Why is there an X in the title?
A: It stands for Cross, but if that bugs you then you can see it as flair instead.
Q: What kinds of things specifically can I expect from Vale City X?
A: Just about anything to be perfectly honest. I'll most likely have three to five plots active at a time, two if which will be mostly PC oriented. If you don't want to be a part of those plots you can make up your own minor plot within reason.
Q: What kind of characters can I make since it is a part fantasy roleplay?
A: Allow me to clarify why this roleplay is part fantasy. Yes, there will be fantasy aspects such as magic and monsters, HOWEVER they will not be a constant presence throughout the roleplay with some exceptions. Your characters may obtain fantastical elements at some point, but the character you create and begin with will be your normal human unless I ask you specifically otherwise.
Q: How detailed is this roleplay?
A: That depends as the complexity can fluctuate based on current plots, complexity of PCs, and the level of details in a person's post. At some times it can be very simplified with short posts and basic story plots while at other times it could become very intricate with lengthy or very detailed posts, plot twists, and the number of individual characters involved in an event.
Q: Can I contribute to what makes this roleplay what it is?
A: Yes! If there are various things you'd like to add, simply ask me about it. Depending on what it is I'll let you add it to the roleplay with no further questions, but if it's something more detailed such as a plot line or major location, I'll talk with you and plan accordingly in order to implement it into the story. Location additions will almost always be accepted so long as you provide an image as well as a description as I have no set size for the city and will only provide major locations as well as constant minor locations.

- No crazy occupations such as being a leader of underground communities sich as the black market or mafia
- No non-human elements unless I tell you otherwise
