Robyn could tell the other girl wasn't used to such casual speaking and Robyn thought back to how many people from her old life had told her she spoke to formal, she smiled when the girl said hang. "Thank you for the compliment." Robyn knew that it was the closest thing to a compliment the heiress could probably say to somebody not in the family, perhaps she had misjudged Azure in the beginning. So far the other hadn't insulted her or done anything to slight Robyn, she saw her eye turn yellow and despite knowing it had meaning couldn't guess what the color meant.

Robyn watched as the girl stood and pushed her way through the line to return with two salads, when one was placed in front of her she stared at it for a moment before looking at the other. She could count the number of times someone had given her food on one hand and still have fingers left over, and when they did there was always a deeper cost.

After studying the heiress and finding no hidden meaning in the strange action she gave a genuine smile, "thank you, Azure." She savored the salad, it wasn't just leaps better than her previous tray but filled her with a warm feeling. She mused that perhaps she had read the heiress all wrong, there was still a sinister possibility that this was a ploy but on the chance this act was genuine then Azure would have been the first.

Orion wandered around the halls of Beacon aimlessly as he thought on the class he just had. Professor Sharp didn’t seem to bad of a man, but Orion knew that the class would just get more boring. Weapons and Dust theory was nothing new to him as he spent most of his childhood (Read: Non-existent) reading books about such matters. He wandered though, searching for places to clear his mind and such, but could not. That strange dream he had in the class was bugging him, and he didn’t know why. He felt like he knew the girl, but obviously a name and a face eluded him. Making up his mind, Orion made his way to the cafeteria.

In the cafeteria, Orion looked upon the many students in the room. It was a diverse crowd with Mistraltans, Atlesians, and more. He even saw a few faunus among the crowd, but chose to ignore everyone in favor of getting food. People who saw him walking their way would move as they sensed the aura of darkness surrounding him. He didn’t mind, let him get lunch faster. Making his way to the line, Orion got a simple sandwich, a cookie (which actually looked decent) and a bottle of water. Making his way to a table, he looked for Azure and his teammates.

Finding Azure and his teammate Robyn at a table, Orion sat across from Azure and put his head on the table, giving off a light groan. “Azure… what’s our next class?” he asked quietly as he began to poke at his sandwich with his finger. He just wanted the week to end so he could vent out in the forest.

It was odd seeing her teammate being so grateful for being given a simple salad, and not even that great of one at that. For a moment she suspected that Robyn was putting up some kind of act, but as Azure watched her so thoroughly enjoy the simple meal, she realized the appreciation was in fact quite genuine. In Atlas, gratitude was something not lightly given. When she would perform as a dancer at a benefit, hosted a banquet or assisted in the day to day running of the SDC, she was never praised. Never thanked. Only criticized for her shortcomings by her mother, her grandfather and those around her, pushed to give more and more of herself. To see such sincere thanks for such a small act caught her completely off guard. Perhaps most of the people here are the same manipulative sycophants, but not all of them.

Her eye grew into a deeper shade of yellow as she regarded her teammate who was eagerly devouring her newly required meal. It was far to soon to tell, but maybe, just maybe Robyn was someone she could come to trust. And then have my heart ripped apart? You know how this works, don't let a few smiles fool you! As the thought entered her mind, the yellow shading that had grown in Azure's eye slowly shifted to its natural sapphire state before she returned to picking at her own food.

Things remained relatively silent after that, neither girl seeming able to carry on the conversation, until her dear brother Orion gracefully flopped onto the table. It seemed he was already quite drained from, and hey had only just finished their first class. Granted, Azure had barely managed to suffer through it, but she tended cover up such feelings far better than her dear brother, who wore his frustration on his sleeve. She wasn't sure whether or not to be envious of that. "History of Remnant mein bruder. Isn't the excitement to much to bear?" While Azure was clearly not being serious, it was still difficult to tell whether or not she was trying to make a joke, the impassive way she spoke making everything sound so serious. Inwardly however, the heiress allowed herself a small chuckle.

'Man, this class was tiring.' Akashi thought, stretching out of his desk. While he did enjoy the class, it was rather taxing. Akashi stood up when the rest of his team had began to leave, but didn't leave until they did, staring at his points of interest. First off, She-Schnee's gloves. They looked important, and considering she never seemed to have a weapon, those were probably why. He committed it to me memory as point 2 came along. Robyn's thermos. Possibly the easiest to mark, she seemed to like her tea. He just let The edgelord pass, he had nothing on him. After randomly winking at the mouse faunus next to him for no apparent reason, he left the room.

Akashi entered the dining hall in high spirits, grabbing a meat centred dish, and sat down at an open seat next to Robyn, but was silent as he pulled out some head phones to listen to rap music. Nobody was going to talk to the "cursed heir", anyway.

Looking up from his seated position across from his sister, Orion took in the sight of Akashi’s form listening to the music. Narrowing his eyes ever so slightly, Orion yawned once more and put his head back down. Whatever he had done to anything they owned, Orion knew at least one rule of the universe, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” It was his own funeral really, and Orion was just going to sit by and let it happen, watching with the barest hints of amusement. Hearing something, Orion looked around for anything interesting, only seeing absolutely nothing interesting. Getting bored, Orion got up and walked out of the cafeteria.

Walking down the halls of Beacon, Orion once more felt isolated. He ignored everything around him, until he came upon one place in particular, the cliff where they were launched off. Sitting on the edge, he rest Broken Requiem on his lap as he closed his eyes and listened to the nature around him. He could hear the slight sound of wind, the leaves rustling and the sound of Grimm below. He just sat there and took it all in.

And So The Days Go By....Wrapping up the day went by pretty quickly. Third and fourth-period teachers were met and Tuesday and Wednesday were all around uneventful. Having their second period still unavailable as Professor Shamrock was out on an expedition. As the week progressed it is finally Thursday and after first-period weapons class with Professor Sharp it was time for Professor Shamrock's Grimm studies class. The first time the second period class was open as Professor Shamrock has been on a mission since school started. What he is like is a complete mystery to some of the students. Eager to find out just what their professor is like students have already begun filing in for their second period class of the day.

Setting
  • Currently, it is Thursday of the first week of class at around 11 am the 2nd-period class will begin in 30 minutes.
  • The weather is warm, but cloudy although later on it is supposed to clear up.

Orion knew the next class was probably going to be as boring as all the previous classes had been. None of the classes so far had sparked any interest within him as he just slept most of the time, and this class was no exception to the rule. Walking to class, Orion noticed the air of excitement around a bunch of fellow students who he shared Grimm studies with. Not knowing why, he listened in on some of the conversations they were having. Most of the conversations seemed to be about their official professor showing up from a mission and actually being in class for once. Sighing in both tiredness and anticipation, Orion continued to class.

Entering the classroom, Orion paid no heed to the chattering of students. He walked towards the back and sat down in his seat, one where he could sleep if he wanted to. Taking out his scroll, he texted Azure "Where are you?" and sent it to her. Seeing he wasn't going to get a reply soon, Orion leaned back and closed his eyes. For the past days since getting to Beacon the same dreams have been plaguing his sleep with many restless nights. He didn't know why, but they just kept happening. Almost falling asleep, Orion failed to notice his scroll dying from low battery.

The days passed by both to quickly and at a snails pace for Robyn, some of her classes she had no idea what the teachers were talking about while in others she was an expert. However this was the first time second period hadn't been canceled and she was curious about her professor, ignoring those that couldn't stay quite she walked into the classroom and saw Orion. After a brief internal debate she began making her way to him and sat in front of him, after a moment she turned to face him. "It would appear we were faster than the other." It was an odd sentence but she could think of little else to say, it occurred to her to late that the male might have actually been asleep instead of faking it. Though if he was faking it then she just ruined the reason he would be, to get out of needless chatter.

Though in the last few days she felt no closer to her teammates and had deduced that their silence was the cause, not that she really wanted to get to close. After all they might all die and then she would be expected to feel sad. However, small talk would allow them to bond as a team without having feelings potentially destroy them later. Her plan was simple, yet if everyone played right it would be a success.

As second period finally rolled around, only one solitary figure remained in Professor Sharps class, short white hair draped over her face and a less than lady like snore emitting from her. More often than not Azure had trouble falling asleep, but the issue had only gotten worse since the heiress did something no Schnee ever dared to do. She got a job... Of course she didn't need one, Klein had been of great assistance in keeping the twins well supplied, but Azure left Atlas to become independent and create a new life that she could call her own. And that meant not relying on her parents and the SDC for giving her everything she needed. So it was that the night after their first classes was completed, Azure got herself a job at a nearby club as a dancer out one of the nearby nightclubs. It was one of the only practical skills she was able to use. Thankfully it was a classy establishment and didn't require her to expose her body in any way, but the hours were late and the work was exhausting. Still, each night she snuck out of the dorm, not wanting her teammates to think less of her, and more importantly to keep Orion from worrying, to earn her keep.

The only thing that kept the sapphire eyed girl from being late was the sudden buzzing of her scroll, Azure startling awake, wiping away the drool on her lips before she hastily gathered her supplies. While she looked calm, her motions were frantic, and the looming threat of being tardy hung over the Schnee heavily. Essence sake, I will not be late on the first day of this class!

Summoning a Glyph, Azure propelled herself through the halls, flying through in a blur of black, white and blue, scattering passerby's and knocking over any unfortunate enough not to move in time. She didn't slow down until she made it to the doorway, slamming the door open and knocking down one of the nearby students, the heiress landing gracefully on her feet upon him. Without even offering an explanation or apology, Azure made her way towards her teammates, a small yawn escaping her lips as she attempted to rub the sleepiness out of her eyes.

"Good morning brother, Robyn. I see the Snake is taking his time once again." She stated with an air of indifference, as if the chaos of her entrance had never happened.

"That's kinda mean, Azure. Considering I got here before you." Akashi called from across the room, where he was sitting around talking to a couple people near the front of the classroom. "Man you were so close to being late. Like you didn't sleep at all last night." He added, hopping of one of the desks to join them. "I am actually looking forward to this class." He said, taking a seat next to his partner.

"Morning Robyn. Sleep well?" Akashi asked his usual question. These last couple days, while not leading to anything special, he did get to map out more of the school, pleasing his father. He also managed to scope out and plan more for his team wide prank. He had sat in the dark corner of his common room at night for a while now, but always fell asleep before he would have actually went to bed. It was surprisingly comfy.

Class should begin any second now. Akashi was actually looking forward to this class, wanting to see the last of his teachers. But he sensed that others weren't as spirited. He smiled, and leaned back in his seat.

Robyn couldn't help but stare as Azure came glyphing in and despite herself she let out a giggle, to see the usually calm and collected heiress using that particular mode of transport was one of the funniest things she had seen all week. Though that did leave the question of why the girl was in such a hurry in the first place, Robyn could have sworn that she heard the door open and close at odd hours. Then of course there was the matter of spotting the heiress on one of her late night flies, she hadn't pursued and was not going to bring it up but it was odd to say the least.

She blinked when Akashi spoke up, she had assumed he was away from them on purpose but now she realized that she may have ignored him by sitting with Orion at the beginning. At hearing the Faunus's question she gave him a small smile, "indeed I did, thank you for asking. And yourself?" She was slowly becoming the master of small talk and she allowed herself small praise in that fact.

As if to make her morning just a tad bit worse, Akashi piped up to announce his presence, Azure having to keep herself from letting out an agitated sigh. It wasn't enough that the boy was a Taurus, but he seemed to enjoy making a nuisance of himself, bothering Azure whenever he was able. "It's hardly mean Taurus, you do generally seem to enjoy taking your time getting to classes. I can only wonder what keeps you so preoccupied." Her Faunus teammate did often seem distant, even more so than the rest of her team, and the heiress couldn't help but wonder what he was up to. Probably just looking for new ways to annoy her, but she couldn't help but feel he could be up to something even less savory. Unfortunately she didn't have the time or energy to find out, so she let it be.

Hearing Robyn address Akashi, Azure hoped she'd manage to keep the boy preoccupied as Azure pulled her sash over her good eye, leaning back and trying to grab just a few more moments of precious sleep.

As the bell rang, Damien Shamrock was still nowhere to be seen, but he was running. All the way from the airship he took for his previous mission, which took longer than he expected. His pack still on his back as he was running as fast as he could. Shamrock felt like he was back at Beacon when he was a student, running to make it to class in time, which only brought a smile to his face.

The halls were empty as he ran to his classroom. Once he arrived, he slides to a stop in the middle of the main floor to his lecture hall. Gasping for air, he took a moment to catch his breath. Taking his travel pack off his back, he combed his fingers through his brown and green hair as he called out to his class,
"Welcome Everyone! I do apologize for not being here at the start of the week. It seems like my mission took longer than I intended it to be. Let me introduce myself. My name is Damien Shamrock and I am your Grimm Studies Professor."

Shamrock took a bow to his students. Straightening up, he looked at all the new first years. With a large smile, he walked around behind his desk, taking his pack with him, and began the lecture.
"Now then let's try to catch up to the past three days that I have been out," he began to talk quickly, "Let's get to talking about the kind of Grimms that roam outside the kingdoms. I can talk very fast so don't hesitate to tell me to slow down."

Shamrock turned his back to the class as he began to write on the chalkboard. As he did, he informed everyone of everything he was writing. He talked fast but it was just slow enough to make out every word he was saying. Here and there he would tell a story from his travels, based on the Grimm he was covering at the time. His class mostly consisted of his tales than information about the Grimms. Then again his tale did say a lot about the Grimm and how to tackle the type that roams in different areas.

Orion looked up from his place at his desk (he was woken up by whatever commotion was going on) and took in the sight of two people bursting in. One he had expected, which was Azure, using her glyphs in a way that would probably be frowned upon by their mother. Thinking of their mother made Orion scoff a bit and shake his head to clear his thoughts. The second person, one he did not expect was their professor. Damien Shamrock, he said his name was. From what Orion could gleam, he didn't seem capable of being a hunter. Of course appearances were deceiving and Orion knew better. The man held himself in a way where he could kill in an instance, be ready to fight, or even defend. His eyes held a dullness, when someone has witnessed death. Raising his hand, Orion spoke.

"Professor..." he called out. "What mission exactly made you miss class for the past three days?" he asked in his monotonous voice. Orion of course was ignoring everything else going around him, such as "The prince speaks!" or "He can talk?!" Orion did not care for those whispers and cared solely on the professor's next answer.

Azure was just about to fade into a peaceful nap before Professor Shamrock burst into the room, nearly causing the girl to fall out of her chair in shock, a small yelp coming from her. It didn't take long for her to regain her composure, pulling out her notebook as she prepared to try and keep up with Professor Shamrock who had a frantic air about him as he desperately attempted to catch up for the past three days he missed. The heiress diligently kept up with his fast pace, pushing past the tiredness that seemed to cloud her mind. What was distracting her even more than her exhaustion however was the professor's mission. Did he really expect to just waltz in three days late with no explanation.

"I am curious about this as well Professor Shamrock. It must have been quite the mission to delay you for so long. I'm sure we could learn much from what you experienced." Even as she followed up on her brothers request, awed whispers of some of the classmates around her assaulted her ears. Did they truly have such dull lives that they had to marvel every time any of her team so much as spoke.

"How about you all quit gawking and give the professor the attention he's due." The heiress hissed at them, a glimmer of red in her eye as she spoke, causing the whispers to cease and everyone's to either bring their attention to the professor or their books, though a few looks of disdain didn't escape her notice. Not that she cared, after all these were the exact kind of people she had attempted to escape at home. What did it matter if they despised her?

Robyn had taken out her notebook to start taking notes, though she wondered if it would truly do much good considering she already knew about different kinds of Grimm. That said she didn't have a name for most of them and it might be helpful to learn their weaknesses, she also reasoned that if they learned about lesser known Grimm that it could help them in a fight later. When Orion asked his question she blinked, she herself was curious as to where the professor had gone off to but would never dream of asking out loud. She smiled slightly when Azure echoed her brother as well as tell off the noisy classroom, it would make sense that the pair would have each others backs even while in the classroom. Robyn turned her attention back to the professor and waited for his reply, she was not the only one waiting now though part of her wondered if he would just rather not say.

"Pretty good actually. You know, when you get tired, everything gets a lot more comfortable. Like, I slept on the common room floor last night." He answered slowly rocking back and forth in his chair. Robyn was a cool girl, someone you could hang out with. Not him, of course. As convincing as his act was; and it almost got Akashi himself; Akashi saw no reason to interact with any of these people other then for beneficial purposes. They were all tools, instruments to further his own interests and goals. 'Well, back to the game I suppose.' He mused to himself in thought.

Akashi was actually surprised the professor showed. He half expected a sudden change of plans that would lead to class being canceled. But no matter, he felt he would enjoy this class, not like most of his other classes. He took some complex notes based off of a Grimm diagram. Then something truly unexpected happened. The one that was made responsible for the wellbeing of this little group -he couldn't bring himself to say leader- spoke up. Albeit a dull, and frankly annoying voice, he still asked a rather good question. What could have made a professional hunter take so long? Forcing himself to dumb down his speech and envelop himself in his act, then added his own opinion into the matter. "Yeah, what did you do? More so, what did you kill?" He asked, the dark prince leaning forward in his seat in childish excitement.

Shamrock was well into a story about one of the Grimms he had gone up against when he was asked elaborate on the reason for his mission. He tried to find the two Schnees in the group of first years and announced, "Ah, a student that asks questions is a student that really learns." Shamrock took off his glasses and cleaned them off a bit before he continued with his answer. "Thank you, Mr. and Miss Schnee, I do enjoy when my students are willing to ask questions. If you wish to really know, I was exploring outside the king down for the cause of the rise of Grimm activity. I was in the middle of a Lancer nest when my crew and I were heading back to vale. They damaged the ship pretty badly, so we had to wait for another airship to arrive," he answered.

"If there are any other questions please do not hesitate to ask," he announced as he continued with the notes he was writing on the board. "Speaking of Lancer Grimm, let's talk about a good way to get yourself out of a hoard of them. I don't think you will ever come across a hoard so soon in your Hunstmen career, but it's never too early to learn." Shamrock continued to talk about the Lancer Grimm, as well as others as he jumped from story to story from his past missions. He also answered any questions that his students asked along the way about Grimm.

"Now, I am not one to encourage the hunting of Grimm when you see them, since they are very intelligent creatures who have evolved into knowing when they know they can win the fight, so-" Shamrock was well into one of his many stories, his fifth one today, when it was cut short by the bell ringing. Shamrock straightened up as he cleared his voice and announced to the class, "We'll cover that tomorrow. Oh! I almost forgot!"

Shamrock dug into his pack as he pulled out his large scroll and read out an announcement, "I have been informed of field missions will be handed out soon. It's first to come, first serve, so be on alert if you wish to participate in the missions. If you do not take a mission you will have to stay behind, plus side there will not be classes during the field missions." Closing his scroll he nodded to everyone in understanding.

"Have a nice day everyone, and I'll see you tomorrow!" he called out as the students began to pack up their things and began to head out to lunch. Shamrock turned around as he cleaned up the chalkboard. Once he was finished he picked up his pack once more and followed the students out of the lecture hall, hoping to drop off his things in his sleeping quarters.

While the explanation wasn't as detailed as she would have cared for, it still piqued her interest. The Lancer Grimm were a type she wasn't all to familiar with, and gladly wrote down any useful bits of information the professor pointed out in regards to the beasts. The harpoon function of their stingers was curious, but what was even more concerning was their intelligence, which seemed to be above an average Grimms. Definitely something to watch out for when her team finally made it out into the field.

Just as they seemed to be getting into the juicy part of the lecture however the bell rang, Azure reluctantly closing her notebook as she prepared to leave class. He may have kept them waiting, but it was worth it, Azure gaining more useful information today than all of the other classes combined. What's more, it seemed her Team would finally have chance to prove themselves, specifically to her. She had no concerns over herself or her brother, she knew they could both handle themselves easily in combat. It was the other two she had concerns about. Robyn seemed decent enough, at the very least she hadn't give her any reason to distrust her. Hopefully she would prove herself an asset. Akashi was a completely different matter. Putting aside he was a Taurus, he was unpredictable. So far he had been quite distant from the rest of the team, only occasionally speaking to Robyn. I'd best keep an eye on him when we head out.

"I'd suggest we keep an eye out for the upcoming missions. I will be less than pleased if we end up left behind." That was a severe understatement, this was her first chance to truly test herself as a huntress. She wasn't about to miss hat opportunity. Gathering her things, Azure left her teammates in the dust as she chased after the professor. Perhaps the rest of the class was satisfied with the general answer he gave about the mission but she was not.

"Professor! Pardon me, but I was hoping you could elaborate on something. You said the purpose of your mission was to discover what is causing the increase in Grimm activity, but failed to say what your findings were. So... What were they?"

Forest stretched, glad that class was over. While the subject certainly was interesting, he could have done without all the personal stories. "But, to each his own I suppose." he chirped aloud. He looked around at the rest of the first years that were preparing to leave, including his team. STAR was an...interesting lot for sure. He was aware of who the Schnees were, though some of the things he heard people say were fairly ridiculous. Like they'd let them in because of their parents? As if. He didn't know what people were talking about when the called the snake faunus the "Dark Prince". It's like we never left middle school with stupid nicknames. And the red-eyed girl, Robin. She seemed nice, albeit a bit distant from everyone. HAZL seemed far more upbeat. The other first years all seemed to keep to themselves for the most part. Though he couldn't help but notice that some of the girls were really cute.

He realized how crazy the last couple of weeks had been. A month ago he had been working a part time job back home.. He was confident in his fighting, but he had never expected to be accepted in to his father's old school. He had put in applications to all four, but it was Beacon he had wanted to attend to most. Then there was the fact that they made him the leader of the team.

So strange, being handled the mantle of responsibility. Mom and Dad seemed thrilled though. It'll be an interesting four years, that's for sure.

He looked at his teammates, Assessing each one. First there was Autumn, his partner. He had seen both her weapon and Semblance during the initiation and found them to be quite formidable. Although the choice of a punch dagger was unusual to him. Surely a knife would have been better, or at the very least more practical? Perhaps it's a family thing? And botanokinesis as a semblance? Rare for sure, and something to figure out how to work around. Particularly is more urban settings. That's my job to work with her, and the rest of the team, I suppose though.

Next up was Zenith. Zenith was, to Forest, an odd person. Not in their personality, per se. But their general apathetic attitude that they have displayed doesn't seem suited for a Huntsman. But, who was Forest to judge. Everyone had their secrets and their reasons for being here. Just because he could find them, didn't mean he wanted to know them. Zenith's weapon intrigued him though. It was a sword, and nothing else by the looks of it. No other forms, no dust capability, nothing. Forest didn't know what Zenith's Semblance was just yet, he hadn't seen it nor had he thought to ask, but the fact that Zenith didn't seem to carry any other weapons spoke volumes. Depending on the semblance, it could just be that he was confident in his swordsmanship, which only made Forest want to face him and find out. He was still the Atlesian Fencing Champion after all, and good opponents were hard to come by.

The final member of the team was Clare. The daughter of one of his dad's teammates she seemed the most likely to have wanted to come here between his three teammates. Outside of her tendencies to space out, she seemed genuinely happy to be here. He had, at first, underestimated her during the mission. All he had seen was this tiny thing carrying a great weapon. But it soon became apparent that she knew how to wield her mace with frightening strength and accuracy.

If he had to sum up his team...he liked them.

"So guys" he asked his team aloud. "What's next? And I suppose I should ask if you all feel up to taking on a mission yet or not. I know they made me leader, but it's far from a dictatorship here."

Cerise followed the professor’s every move, taking everything he can from this distance. It wasn’t much but as he watched him, he eventually picked up on his writing style as he took notes. As the class went, they slowly began to look identical to Professor’s Shamrock’s handwriting. He was more focused on the Professor himself all class, that he didn’t recall anything he said. I at least have the notes... I should pay more attention. He got up from his seat and looked over to his teammates.

“So are we going to going to take up a mission?” he asked, his voice smooth and calming as he began to collect his things to head to lunch. He had been getting to really know his teammates, happy that he can be someone new to them, compared to his past shy guy. He leaned on the desk and waited patiently, and looking at everyone just mainly at their team leader, Hunter.

Cerise glanced at the other students as he checked out some of them, taking interest to some, but he could focus on love later. He only really for to know the other teams through passing on the first day and before the initiation, but since they started school, he had been focused on his team. It was obvious he was not too happy to associate himself with team STAR since they were too intense for him, but some seemed fun to get to know. As for Team FALW, he was happy to know they seemed nice to be around.

Hunter paid close attention to his professor's lecture as he took important and detailed notes about the Grimm they had been studying. Hunter was certainly happy that he had finally got accepted into Beacon academy, but was a little nervous once they had made the decision to make him team leader. It was a responsibility he was happy to be given, but not one he thought he was ready for. After receiving the news that he would be leader Hunter began to take his classes and research far more seriously then he already had. He didn't want to be the reason his team failed nor did he want to be the reason for the injuries they could receive if he ended up making a mistake. He was nervous and a little bit distant from his teammates as he would constantly bury himself in books about Grimm often making dozens of strategies to safely take them out should the need arrive. He became lost in his train of thought until the sudden ring of the bell made snapped him out of trance making him jump a little bit due to the sudden loud noise.

Hunter began to collect his things quickly as there were a few other things he needed to study until his attention was caught be the voice of one of his fellow teammates. Hunter had never honestly thought about the missions up until the sudden mention of them as he was constantly busy with his research. Hunter began to rub the back of his head not sure what exactly to say. Although nervous he had full confidence in his own combat ability, and from what he saw from his teammates they to shared extraordinary talent and abilities that would make them quiet the unstoppable team. However, anything could happen in the field and Hunter wasn't sure if his team even wanted to go on a mission in the first place.

"Personally I have the ever most confidence in our ability as individuals and as a team, however I think it should be discussed if one of us doesn't think we're ready for such a thing yet. Even though I was made team leader I believe we should all hold an equal footing when deciding on particular subjects such as this one. So what do you guys think?" Hunter said with sincerity in his voice.

The past few days have been, in her eyes at least, eventful. Of course, anything here at Beacon was a wonderful change of pace compared to her home life, which had fallen into a boring routine that was repeated daily. And, while, yes, school was like that, Zorina rather enjoyed all of her classes so far. And her team seemed like a talented bunch, and a group's she liked already; despite the fact they were all taller than her, but Zorina could over look this tiny factor. There was Hunter, their leader, who seemed a little nervous about actually being a leader. Then Cerise, who, hopefully wasn't as...princely, as he seemed. Then of course, Tsana. The Faunas was Zorina's initation partner. She liked her a great deal already, as she proved to be a capable fighter during their trials. Zorina had high hopes for their team, but of course, the other teams were to be skilled as well.

Though, coming Vacuo, her definition of skill may differ slightly than these other students. From the moment you're bofn you had to fight in order to survive, so out of all of these students, the one barely pushing five feet and three inches may have the most experience with them. But, who knows? Zorina didn't know any of their backgrounds, so she could just be silently boasting about herself. Which is something she often fried to avoid. Anyway, with class now over, she sat listing to her teammates. Cerise asked if they were going to take a mission, and Hunter suggested they all talk about it first. Zorina chuckled, "I'm up for it," She said happily, "That's what we're all here for right? These missions are part of the learning process."

Orion opened his eyes blearily, and raised his arms (or arm), in a stretch. Yawning, and with his vision semi blurry, he grabbed his scroll and was pleased to see the lesson did indeed record. Saving the recording for later, he pocketed his scroll, and stood up from his seat, signalling his team to follow once he reached the bottom of the lecture hall. Without even having to glance her way, Orion saw his sister zoom off to ask the professor more questions about his mission. It was predictable to Orion that should would be interested in a mystery. Orion then turned to walk out of the classroom, stretching once more, and yawning as well.

"So team..." he drawled off as people continued to whisper among themselves when he saw Orion talk to his teammates. "Do we go take a mission right now? Or do we wait for my nerd of a sister to get back?" he asked as he continued walking down the hall, his voice still carrying its usual emptiness even with the joke of his sister's habits in the mix. He simply put his hands behind his head and continued walking, ignoring everything going on around him, focusing solely on his teammates' responses.

"YAHOO!" Tsana happily jumped up from her seat and shouted in elation when lessons ended. She hated the more theoretical classes in Beacon, preferring practicality to reading and writing. She of course knew that all the stuff in the books was important too, but it was just so boring. Running outside to catch up to her team once she noticed them leaving without her, she stood by them, her ears twitching every few moments, and her tail swishing back and forth. She enjoyed her team, they were all upbeat and just fun people to hang out with. Her partner Zorina was really cool too! For such a small package she sure knew how to kick some butt! Anyway, back to the topic on hand Tsana. "I say YES!" Tsana cried out as she jumped up in happiness. "We came here to beat bad guys and slay evil monsters! Let's go!! I just have to go to the dorm real quick! I'll be back!" Running down the hall Tsana couldn't help but remember how she got here.

It was initiation day, and she was late.Of course Tsana knew the importance of being punctual, but she was having a good dream involving cookies and cute girls. Yes, Tsana was lesbian as well, but when she woke and realized where she was, she panicked. She ran to the initiation site, and was relieved to make it on time. After being launched, she couldn't hlep but giggle remembering how she and Zorina partnered up. She had literally fallen on the girl. Reaching the dorm, and grabbing what she needed, Tsana ran back to her team.

As was the case in just about every class so far, Autumn found herself completely and utterly bored, tossing one of her seeds in her hand. It wasn't much but at least it did something to alleviate the boredom. She had heard great things about Beacon, and Autumn was sure they were true, but she saw no value in sitting in a room all day listening to someone prattle on. The best way to learn was hands on. If they were to learn about Grimm, the teacher should bring them out to hunt them. It was how her mother taught her, how her people passed down knowledge, and they got along just fine. But apparently this was what it took Huntress, so she suffered through it with silent dignity... Aside from the occasional exasperated sigh and squirming about in her chair.

By the time the bell rang the fox nearly leapt out of her seat. "Ugh, finally!" The Mistralian exclaimed, stretching her limbs after having to keep them still for so long. As she did so she heard her apparent partner and leader talking to... Himself? The poor boy must have been even more bored than she was. As far as partners went, she was fairly happy with hers. They had certainly met in an interesting fashion, which even now made her cheeks turn red with embarrassment. It was shortly after she landed, and the forest had been unnervingly quiet. When she heard rustling past some tall bushes she immediately went on the attack, using her semblance to ensnare whatever was near her, bursting through the foliage like a true predator, ready to claim her kill. Unfortunately it wasn't a Grimm she caught. It was a Forest, hanging upside down, an amused smile on his lips. Or was it a frown? "Well then, you certainly know how to make introductions." He stated towards her, yet Autumn was still speechless, wanting to bury her head in the ground for making such a foolish mistake. Yet Forest never held the incident against her, instead treating her with respect, even kindness. She was grateful to have found a partner that was able to overlook her odd, 'primitive' tendencies. Furthermore he proved to be a skilled fighter with his daggers, the two working quite well alongside each other during the trial.

Then there was the rest of her team, Claire and Zenith, both of whom proved to be worthy hunting companions as well, Claire able to wield her massive mace with impressive skill and grace. Moreover she was incredibly sweet, having a surprisingly gentle soul for so fierce a warrior. Zenith meanwhile seemed to be a masterful swordsman, though that was about all she knew about him. Autumn had no issue with him but the boy seemed incredibly passive for a Huntsman in training, and a small part of her wondered how committed he really was to being one. But it was unfair to judge him to quickly, Autumn knew what that was like.

Upon hearing Forest mention going on a mission she rushed over to him, grabbing him by the shoulders as excitement overtook her. "Mission means we get to not sit about all day, yes?" Childlike wonder seemed to shine in her silver eyes, overjoyed to hear that the time for Hunting was almost upon them. "Can we go now? Please?"
