Hello, I tried to change my username to Lunar, and it said it was taken. So i looked into members but I couldn't find a user with the name Lunar, is it possible to actually get my name changed to that somehow?

Probably not possible, because what if that person was just biding their time and is about to use that account again right this moment?

Seems unlikely because they've been inactive for a little over a year, last activity was the day they joined so i would assume they wouldn't come back but you are correct, its also unlikely to get a username thats already taken, thanks! I will use Lunαr though ^-^

IPS allowed special characters in usernames, but as far as I know, xF doesn't, so using something like α won't work. You could always try the double "r" like Ictora suggested or maybe use something like Lun4r? iLunar? (Sorry, I'm terrible with names)

xF1 doesn't allow many special characters. xF2 fixes that entirely because it encodes the database to allow emoji like IPS did, its one of the few things iPS did right.

Well in that case, is there any chance i could get the Lunar username since the current owner is no longer active?

I don't think that's going to happen. I've seen people come back after 2 years. And this site doesn't delete users, same as you can't delete your own account if you wanted to.

I understand that, but also read higher in the thread and look at the guys profile. Hes been innactive since ge join in 2015.Yes you are completely right, but iI can almost 100% guarentee you that this person will not be returning.

Yeaah XD well i'll just wait it out, the current Lunar is innactive with 0 posts, so there is hope!
