A meets B on the evening of B’s wedding to a foreign diplomat. A is working on the catering hall for the event and encounters B crying in her dressing room before the ceremony begins. A thick language barrier obstruct communication between them but it’s obvious to A that B wants nothing to do with this marriage. As the processional hymn begins and the wedding party begins to walk down the isle, A makes the split decision to take B’s hand and sneak her out of the venue. B knows that her husband-to-be is a dangerous man and despite her fear that they’ll be pursued. B goes on the run with A.

#2 Mile High Club
A and B are on a flight to an island for a destination wedding. A is about to be married to B’s best friend. The bride and groom-to-be are on separate flights due to A wanting to adhere the tradition of not seeing the bride before the ceremony. A is seated in first class with B and her maid of honor. Her maid of honor is fast asleep. Rest of the wedding party is flying coach. A and B stay awake for the majority of the flight’s duration, reflecting on shared memories and flirting with an attractions that’s been buried for the sake of both of their relationships with the groom-to-be. Spurred on by liquid courage, A propositions B for a one time, get-it-out-of-our-systems fling several thousand feet in the air. It’s their last chance to see what it’d be like to be lovers.
Will B take it? Will there be a wedding?

Muse A and Muse B have been together romantically for 2 years and they’ve known each other for almost 5 years in total. Since their second date they’ve sworn to a policy of telling each other the truth no matter what, which they believe has kept their relationship strong for so long. Lately, the honest couple has been incredibly busy with work and family obligations, barely having time to sit down together for a full meal before one has to dash off. Their anniversary date approaches and the couple promises to set some time aside for the occasion. Whether by pure forgetfulness, a lack of time to talk, or a desire to surprise their significant other, Muse A and Muse B have been keeping some news from their partner –news that each of them will share during the anniversary dinner. The couple dresses up and heads out to their favorite spot in town, each person waiting for the right time to confess what they’ve been hiding. While waiting for dessert, Muse A finally speaks up and says they have news to share. But so does Muse B, at the same time. Each insists that the other say what they have to say first and they ultimately rely on the flip of a coin to decide who spills first. Muse A is one month pregnant. Muse B is leaving (for someone else or for a job assignment thousands of miles away).
Who will lose the coin flip and have tell their secret first? Will the other person decide to keep their secret (or change plans) after learning what their lover has been hiding? Will the sharing of the secrets make or break the relationship?
#4 Young & In Love.
[SIZE= 9pt]Muse A and Muse B are young and in love. After meeting one summer at the beach, the couple hasn’t been apart for more than 2 days at a time. Though they are young and their futures are still uncertain, they are sure that they intend to spend the rest of their lives together. Excited that they’ve each found their soul-mate and eager to show the world, they decide to get married. Unfortunately, Muse A and Muse B’s parents both strongly disapprove, stating that it won’t last and they’ll regret the rushed nuptials afterward. Discouraged, but not totally defeated, the young couple plan to elope. They’ll get married in secret and run away together, starting a life on their own, without their parents’ help. Muse A and Muse B scrape together what money they can and run off in the middle of the night, leaving only a goodbye note behind for their parents. They get married in a quaint roadside chapel and find a cheap apartment to live in. They plan to find work and take care of each other from now on, however, it’s not long before they discover that it’s not as easy or as fun living independently as they dreamed it would be. Before they know it, they’re short on rent. Work leaves the newlyweds with little time for each other, and when they are together they begin to fight over their finances. [/SIZE]

#5 Un-teachable
Muse A and Muse B meet one night at the carnival that comes to town every year before school starts. They hit it off well—maybe they kiss, maybe more. They exchange numbers and agree to go out sometime—there was undeniable chemistry that they both wanted to explore. All of that comes crashing down when Muse A, who is in college, walks into class on the first day and finds Muse B sitting behind the teacher’s desk.
Will Muse B break it off before it goes any farther? Will Muse A be disgusted and beg to switch classes? Or will they work something out, both knowing that, if caught, Muse B will lose their job, and Muse A will be expelled—or worse?
#6 Beauty and the Boss
Muse A is the daughter of a man with a serious gambling problem. He’s a sweet man, always doting on Muse A with her favorite books and rare flowers, but he’s up to his ears in debt after borrowing money from the wrong people. One afternoon, Muse A’s father is confronted by Muse B, the ruthless crime boss of the city. Few people have ever seen Muse B’s face, as his henchmen usually do his dirty work, but everyone knows his name and cowers in fear appropriately. Muse A’s father owes Muse B a considerable debt, which he cannot pay. Rather than kill the man, Muse B offers a trade – the man's beautiful daughter in exchange for the forgiveness of his financial debts. He has one night to make this deal happen or Muse B will come for him. When Muse A’s father explains the predicament to her, she is willing to go, as long as it ensures the safety of her family and her father promises to put an end to his troublesome gambling habits. Muse A moves in to Muse B’s mansion outside of town the following day. From the moment Muse A arrives, Muse B is on his best behavior, lavishing her with gifts – a library wing for her, a pretty garden filled with the finest, imported roses – jewelry, and so on. Gradually, Muse A comes to see that Muse B isn’t a horrible person, behind closed doors, but the circumstances of their arrangement (and the terrible crimes he commits as a crime boss) make it difficult for her to fall in love with him as he’s fallen in love with her. Each time Muse B proposes marriage, Muse A refuses. Muse A becomes terribly homesick and begs to be allowed to visit her father. Muse B allows her to leave him as long as she returns to him within a week’s time. While Muse A is away, Muse B is attacked by a disloyal bunch of conspiring underlings. When Muse A returns, she finds Muse B wounded and left for dead in his home office. She realizes in this moment that she does love him and if he recovers she’ll marry him. Her quick actions save his life and once he is well enough, they marry.
Dark Twist: Once Muse B recovers, Muse A willingly becomes part of the crime business. Together they seek revenge against those who betrayed Muse B.
Romantic/Angst Twist: Once Muse B recovers, Muse B gives up his life of crime, since he’s assumed to be dead and he and Muse A run away together, with the condition that Muse A can never return home to her family.

When a soldier returns home from active duty, he shares a joyful reunion with his significant other. Romance rekindles the moment the pair sets eyes on each other; for a time, it’s as if they never spent a minute apart, though it’s been several years since they’ve had more than a video chat to hold them over. The lovers are finally able to start building a life together and plan their fairy-tale wedding. Only, it doesn’t take but a few weeks for the soldier’s experiences abroad to start impeding their efforts. Gradually, he becomes listless and quiet. Sometimes, he’s eerily distant and angry without provocation. Saying that the adjustment to civilian living is more challenging then he first assumed it would be is an understatement.
But the couple’s love is strong and neither is willing to give up just because there’s a few demons to fight. At their breaking point, the soldier’s love takes him to the spot where they first met. Then and there, they make a pact to stand together and never fall apart.
#8 Treasured
According to sailor legends, merpeople are beautiful and benevolent beings who guide lost ships to harbor and bring great fortune to kind fishermen who empty their nets for a chance to hear a merperson’s song. The song of a merperson is an ethereal treat that few people at sea (and even fewer on land) have the privilege of hearing, but those who do are said to be blessed for the rest of their days.
A is a merperson, born to a merman and a sea witch. Cursed by wicked blood, A’s song is doomed to bring misery and death to anyone who hears it. Though it is not their fault, A has been forbidden from singing to anyone (human or merperson) for as long as they live. Unable to sing freely like their seafaring kin, A is an outcast and believes they will never know the joy of changing a human’s life for the better. Always lonely underwater, A secretly travels to the surface in the hopes of finding companionship. Merely speaking to a human couldn’t hurt, they suppose. One afternoon, A encounters B strolling along the shoreline, pitching small pebbles into the surf. Fearing rejection from the first human they’ve ever seen, A thinks to swim away but B spots their shimmering tail and calls out to them. They keep their distance from one another as they speak, one on land and one at sea, but are too intrigued to part ways. As it gets dark and the air becomes cold, both must take their leave of the beach. Uncertain if A will ever see another human, A hastily promises B that they will bring them treasures if they come back. B is uncertain if its wise, but they agree to return. True to their word, A brings a valuable trinket from a shipwreck far below in simple exchange for B’s company. As the days pass and B continues to return, it seems that A has finally found a friend. All will be well, as long as they don’t ever sing to B.
#9 Braving the Elements
[COLOR= black]Muse A[/COLOR][COLOR= black] [/COLOR][COLOR= black]is coming of age in their magical family. On their 18th birthday, they learn what element (water, air, earth, or fire) they have been gifted with. [/COLOR]Muse A has been under the impression and hope that they will have inherited the same element that their parents and grandparents have been blessed with, however they come to discover that they have been bestowed with the opposite element. According to rules set forth in the family’s grimoire, Muse A must learn to master their gift from a witch/warlock who possesses the same elemental power as they do. Muse B, who has the same element as Muse A, becomes Muse A’s reluctant mentor. Muse B is brilliant and powerful, but lacks in the department of manners and compassion, especially when Muse A shows difficulty harnessing their new abilities. Muse B is condescending and impatient often without provocation. One day, Muse A meets their wit’s end with Muse B’s treatment and they demand to know why Muse B is so hostile toward them. Muse B reveals that they come from rival families and they are only teaching Muse A due to the terms of a 1,000 year old truce. Once Muse A has mastered their gift, however, the ceasefire will be over. And the families will once again be at odds.
#10 A Little Surprise ****
[COLOR= black]Muse A[/COLOR][COLOR= black] [/COLOR][COLOR= black]is annoyed when someone rings their doorbell late at night. When they answer the door, they’re even more annoyed to come face-to-face with their ex,[/COLOR][COLOR= black] [/COLOR][COLOR= black]Muse B[/COLOR][COLOR= black]. [/COLOR]Muse B, typically smug and rude, looks panicked and makes a plea for Muse A’s help. Bitter about the sour ending of their relationship by Muse B’s fault, Muse A is poised to slam the door shut in Muse B’s face. Just before they can, a pint-sized kid peers out from behind Muse B’s legs and asks to use the bathroom. Muse A may loathe Muse B, but they aren’t heartless, so they let the child in and begrudgingly also Muse B. While the child is in the bathroom, Muse A demands an explanation from their ex. Muse B breaks down and explains that the child is theirs but they only recently found out. The kid was left at their door by their other parent and they’re freaking out because they have no idea how to raise the child, especially not alone. Muse B came to Muse A for help because they have no one else to turn to. Muse A is sympathetic, mainly for the child, and only because of this does Muse A agree to help.
#11 Baby Project ****
[COLOR= black]As a health class a[/COLOR][COLOR= black]ssignment,[/COLOR][COLOR= black] [/COLOR][COLOR= black]students are required to take care of a baby simulator for 3 weeks. The teacher doesn’t give the students a choice of partners, instead pairing them up at random. M[/COLOR]uch to Muse A’s dismay, they’re matched up with Muse B, someone they absolutely can’t stand. Muse B isn’t pleased about it either, since they feel the same way about Muse A. Every decision they make as fake parents is a struggle from the very beginning, particularly scheduling who takes care of the baby when and for how long. Muse A [COLOR= black]and [/COLOR]Muse B are forced to compromise and spend time together with the baby for the sake of the project, which requires cooperative decision-making and documentation of their progress. Over the course of the project, Muse A[COLOR= black] [/COLOR][COLOR= black]and [/COLOR]Muse B start to realize that their partner isn’t as horrible as they once thought. They’re actually kind of fun to be around, even given the circumstances.

#12 Million Dollar Wedding ****
[COLOR= rgb(0, 0, 0)]Muse A and Muse B have just been cast to participate in the most popular game show on TV. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, since the prizes are always amazing for anyone who finishes the game. And the premise is simple, it’s a live version of Truth or Dare; all Muse A and Muse B have to do is complete all of the rounds! Simple enough, or so they both think until the final round. A million dollar prize is offered if Muse A agrees to exchange wedding vows with the mysterious Muse B, whose identity is concealed behind a silhouetted curtain. The condition is that Muse A and Muse B must stay married for one full year to keep the money. Young and in a considerable amount of debt, Muse A and Muse B go for it and agree to get hitched on live TV. When the curtain is pulled back, Muse A’s face falls in shock. Muse B is all too familiar. Muse A has vivid memories of Muse B bullying them in school, years ago. Muse B doesn’t recognize Muse A right away, but senses that Muse A isn’t happy to see them. The wedding proceeds and after the show’s over, Muse A and Muse B must work through their issues if they want to keep that million dollar prize. Along the bumpy road of getting to know each other again, the pair realize that they’ve both changed a lot since high school. But have they both changed enough for real feelings to develop? [/COLOR]

When A was a little kid, their father used to take them to the beach nearly every day during the summer and they’d swim and collect sea shells along the shoreline. Having nothing but fond memories from their youth, A decides to become a lifeguard at that very beach this summer. One afternoon,[/COLOR][COLOR= black] [/COLOR][COLOR= black]A[/COLOR][COLOR= black] is let down by this admission, but feels as if it’s pointless to tell the truth now. A has decided to stay in the relationship that hasn’t been working for the last few months. B believes that it was their significant other who saved them because that’s what the significant other reported, and because of this false account, B was the one who saved them from drowning. A about their near-death experience, not realizing that A tells B just smiles and nods along. They spend the whole day together, admiring the sea. A picks up the slack in conversation, while B can’t speak at all, so A gets the impression that B. B but they become painfully shy and are unable to speak to B tries to introduce his/herself to A attention. A’s returns to the beach alone, catching B away. A few weeks later, B companions to lead B’s falls back and returns to their lifeguard post, allowing A out of the way.A begins to awaken that their significant other appears and shoos B, pulling them to dry land and resuscitating them. It’s not until B springs into action to save A struggling in the surf. B notices [/COLOR]

The more B talks about their significant other, the more jealous A becomes and the more obvious it is that they’ll lose B if they continue to keep their mouth shut about what really happened the day B nearly drowned. Muse A has vivid memories of Muse B bullying them in school, years ago. Muse B doesn’t recognize Muse A right away, but senses that Muse A isn’t happy to see them. The wedding proceeds and after the show’s over, Muse A and Muse B must work through their issues if they want to keep that million dollar prize. When A was a little kid, their father used to take them to the beach nearly every day during the summer and they’d swim and collect sea shells along the shoreline. Having nothing but fond memories from their youth, A decides to become a lifeguard at that very beach this summer. One afternoon,[/COLOR][COLOR= black] [/COLOR][COLOR= black]A[/COLOR][COLOR= black] is let down by this admission, but feels as if it’s pointless to tell the truth now. A has decided to stay in the relationship that hasn’t been working for the last few months. B believes that it was their significant other who saved them because that’s what the significant other reported, and because of this false account, B was the one who saved them from drowning. A about their near-death experience, not realizing that A tells B just smiles and nods along. They spend the whole day together, admiring the sea. A picks up the slack in conversation, while B can’t speak at all, so A gets the impression that B. B but they become painfully shy and are unable to speak to B tries to introduce his/herself to A attention. A’s returns to the beach alone, catching B away. A few weeks later, B companions to lead B’s falls back and returns to their lifeguard post, allowing A out of the way.A begins to awaken that their significant other appears and shoos B, pulling them to dry land and resuscitating them. It’s not until B springs into action to save A struggling in the surf. B notices [/COLOR]
[COLOR= black]Over the next few days[/COLOR][COLOR= black], [/COLOR][COLOR= black]B[/COLOR][COLOR= black] returns to the beach to spend time with A, who stays quiet to keep up the rouse. A coaxes B to get back in the water with them and once they’re heading back to shore, they share an unplanned kiss. B feels guilty about it afterward because of their significant other and suggests that they just stay friends. The more B talks about their significant other, the more jealous A becomes and the more obvious it is that they’ll lose B if they continue to keep their mouth shut about what really happened the day B nearly drowned. When A sp[/COLOR][COLOR= black]e[/COLOR][COLOR= black]aks to B for the first time and blurts out the truth, B is shocked.[/COLOR][COLOR= black] [/COLOR][COLOR= black]B[/COLOR][COLOR= black] again. B worries that they’ll never see A stays away as promised, B of trying to manipulate them and ruin their relationship, and then says that they can’t see each other anymore.
