Character Name:
"Riot"

Character Cliche Role (if applicable): Mysterious????????? ?????/? Also, comedic relief.

Character Age: Probably also a mystery.

Character Gender: Do we ever really know for sure?

Character Backstory: Riot, a name that would strike fear into the hearts of people if they knew who he was. But like, uh, they don't. Because he doesn't let anyone know anything. Anyway, he grew up in a place known to us as Lyenthall, although whether that is it's actual name or not is debated by scholars all over the world. Regardless, I shant dwell on it here and instead we shall go forward with the naive assumption that is correct because I typed it with correct grammar and capital letters.

His childhood was the dream of most children. Complete freedom from adults, entirely on your own in a huge city where everyone hates you and most see you as a thieving, lying bastard child. Wonderful. Also, stray cats. Riot banded together a gang of small orphan children and they called themselves the pirates and then they did things like stealing and other things that are illegal but like, they only did it to stay alive so it was okay. Except it wasn't okay to the townspeople who were very angry. Riot's right hand man, Pandora, ended up being arrested and was sentenced to prison time. Riot and crew immediately went to break him out, but Riot was caught and Pandora was still trapped. Riot, with his amazing lying powers, managed to pass himself off as a lower member of the group rather than it's leader and therefore got a lesser sentence than Pandora.

But when he heard Pandora's sentence, he regretted his choices entirely. The angry townspeople had assumed Pandora was the leader and he was sentenced to death.

Riot escaped the night of Pandora's execution, with the intent to stop it. He was too late and came upon the place just as his head rolled along the ground. At that moment, a wave of emotion, stronger than any he had felt before, overtook his entire body and he blazed it. By it I mean the town and by blazed I mean he set it on fire. His eyes opened, glowing a rather off purple and he burned everything in his fury. And when he was done, he sat down on the ground, the only ground not on fire, and he was so tired. He put his head in his hands. Suddenly, the stray cat he had loved for so long meowed at him, hungry. He jumped, fire leaping from his hands and then doubled over in pain and horror as he realized he just burned his own eye out. And that was the anticlimactic end to the sad part of his backstory. Then he left and went to Aleryueth, but not before looting everything in the ashes of his former town. He used that money to pay for his voyage and found that he overestimated how much voyages cost and so now he's actually rich like a pirate. Anyway, then he broke into a school and ended up living there accidentally and it's a long story.

Other: [uh, am i supposed to put a K here and also the number 7?]

He wears those goggles constantly. If you try to take them, you will get burned. He also has a little necklace on a silver chain, it's a swirly blue orb. What does it mean? What do the goggles do? It's a mystery.
