Personality
Most rocks have more social skills than Jules does. She dismisses people quickly, judging them on how smart she thinks they are. Anyone who fails to meet her arbitrary expectations is banished to the land of cold shoulders - unless they're able to pull rank. It's second nature for her to swing from "You idiot crayon-eater" to "Of course sir, I would be thrilled to write these reports for you" in three seconds flat.

Appearance
A petite academic with an eerie aura. Her wild hair and facial twitch from eye strain make her look rabid. She often wears a lab coat, for no other reason than to remind people that she is a scientist, who works in a lab, and has a doctorate, and is therefore a doctor scientist who gets to wear lab coats and you common folk are not. Field work is sweaters and overalls, though. Gotta be sensible about these things.

Biography
Dr. Julietta Marie Lacy is not a child prodigy. Her scientific prowess does not come from an innate intelligence, but from a natural workaholic's love of rules, structure, and repetition. This penchant for mind-numbing research has resulted in several scientific articles about things such as the proportion of iron to carbon in topsoil and how it affects soil color, and what the weight of the ocean will due to the basalt underneath. For everything else she writes, there's Ao3.

With the demeanor of nearly any military uniform with their salt, Gil can come across as perhaps too focused to his profession- as if his existence depended on it. Pretty sure there's nothing to that at all. Stop prying. A matter-of-fact tone is what awaits most people who actually choose to engage in conversation with Braun, hands almost always clasped behind his back. Guard always seems to be up...

Appearance
Standing 6'2'' with the posture of an active man of the military, Brahn is known to give off a certain 'vibe' to those around him to stay clear of his path. Unfortunately, Gil does not know how to turn this personal setting off. The various scars on his face didn't help. It's a good thing short-sleeves aren't in fashion here, more scarring to show off would be...Problematic.

Biography
An accomplished soldier with a distinctive penchant for marksmanship that made it up to the rank of Sergeant-Major. Was apart of various tours in multiple locations, some without conflict, others quite a lot. Discharged from active service for an undisclosed designation, but was given a stirling recommendation for inclusion for a team being sent into FTL travel.

John is cool and relaxed in his dealings and rarely gets flustered. When dealing with a problem he will take an analytic approach but has been known to dive straight into certain situations if the only danger presented is to himself. Socially he can be considered a bit of a ‘charmer’ and is as comfortable in a bar full of rowdy Marines as he is at the latest Embassy function. Given the choice however, he would choose the bar every time.


Appearance
Tall, rugged and deeply tanned, John would be a PR Officer's dream for the next recruitment campaign. The former ONI Colonel stands at 6'3 and weights in at approximately 210lbs. Despite being in his mid-forties John still maintains a muscular physique and is in better shape than most men half his age. The progress of time cannot be completely ignored however; grey hair is clear on his temples and laughter lines tug at the corner of each eye and furrow his brow. Neither feature could be considered a blemish but add to a distinguished handsomeness.

Biography
Growing up an only child on the affluent Green World of Bekensten, John was an accomplished pupil and star athlete. After graduating college, he took a divergent step and enrolled in the Coalition Navy's Officer Candidate School. An idealist of sorts, John had always been inspired by the tales of the Navy, fighting against the evil of humanity while pushing forward to the farthest reaches of the Galaxy. He enlisted with the intention of serving a short stretch and then moving on with skills gained from his time with the military and his degree. He volunteered and was accepted for Officer training with the Marines, despite vocal protests from his Father who had felt a position serving as an Officer on a Coalition ship would be safer than being stuck in the dirt with a squad of 'grunts'.

He was assigned to the notoriously tough 103rd Marine Division as a 2nd Lieutenant and proved to be a capable young Officer, rising steadily through the ranks, displaying a mature competency, willingness to learn and good leadership abilities. He saw combat pirates and Mercenary groups in the Kesling Verge and was awarded the Bronze Star for saving his squad from an ambush by a group of pirates who had recently attacked a human colony on Terra Una.

His rise through the ranks was steady. He transferred from his position in the Marines onto the SSV Belfast with the rank of Lieutenant Commander and continued on to his current rank of Colonel.

She can be incredibly sarcastic and sometimes a bit rude if you make her mad, but she doesn’t hold grudges. She is easy to please, and a bit naive, and has a horrible sense of humor. Selena gets bored easily and always keeps busy to keep from pestering others. She loves people, and prefers to be around them.

Appearance
Selena is of average height (5’6”) and build. She is well muscled, as she has had vigorous training in combat. She has bright green eyes, ringed with gold that are her pride and joy. She takes very good care of her appearance, but doesn’t wear excessive makeup or flashy clothes. The bottom outer corner of her left has a scar that stretches about two inches down her face, looking like a silver teardrop from an incident with a lab tool. She has an almost golden glow about her, probably due to her bubbly personality.

Biography
The daughter of two very successful business owners, all were shocked when Selena decided to attend the worlds most renowned physics school. She completed college with a masters in Biophysics, Geophysics and Astrophysics and went on to start her own research company, Spark Labs, where her and her team study everything from the common cold to deep space. She is currently working on the Phoenix Project, though many details of the project have not been shared yet. Spark Labs was rated number one in employee satisfaction last year.

Appearance
She's tall at around 5'10, has a slender and lithe body type akin to that of a ballet dancer. Her voice is a bit brassy and deeper for a woman, but people tell her that it's pretty charming.

Biography
Kittani was born in a mixed-race household to a wealthy family, and got married shortly after enrolling in college to her high school sweetheart. Things went south when it was discovered that he was cheating, and Kittani separated from him when she was just graduating from her bachelor's degree. She was divorced by the end of the year and went on to get her doctorate and Ph.D, and she worked in Canada at a hospital for quite some time until she was presented with the opportunity to go to space. How could she refuse?

Personality
She is near enough the closest you have to a mad scientist. Fast talking, blunt and unable to stay in one topic for more than a few seconds and easily excitable particularly on the topic of Exobiology and medicine. Though her blunt manner and eccentricity may be grating to some, she knows her work and overall she is friendly and affable. Still, her experiences before joining the expedition clearly left their mark on her and can come out from time to time and because of that she can be distant to people.

Appearance
Medium height at around 5ft 5in with an athletic body just shy of that of a military soldiers. Has dark brown unkept curly hair and speaks with light posh english accent (think Jo wyatt). Usually dresses casually in tank tops and tracksuit bottoms underneath her lab coat and walks with a limp and with the aid of a cane.

Biography
Military Brat with her father a well known general while here mother was a successful chief. Joined the military a combat medic before receiving an honourable discharge due to injury. She used her enlistment benefit to earn a scholarship for college courses in Astronomy, biology, astroecology and astrogeology. She eventually served the prestigious Innes Research Station over Proxima Centauri b earning her doctorate and publishing several papers. Disagreement of her theories and general eccentricity caused a rift between her and the scientific community and some controversy causing her to lose her position.

Harry has lived in space for the greater part of his life and has become something of a native, seemingly never more at home than on a zero G jaunt or inhabiting the more obscure nooks and crannys of larger space faring vessels.

Harry is the product of his habits, ones which have conspired to keep him alive through a long and storied military and mercenary career. As such his routines give the appearance of rigid discipline yet reflect practised guile more than anything else.

Essentially he is the product of having rammed hundreds of men through a darwinesque survival filter over several decades of brutal warfare across theatres varying from urbanised geoplexes to the raw vacuum of deep space.

In person Harry is cheerful, if a little rough. There's a dry wit under there somewhere and under that...

For a man of his age, Harry is in outstanding physical condition likely to put others to shame, 5ft 10 and knotted with muscle, his body would give the impression of a tightly wound spring were it not for the fact that his modes of dress do nothing to accentuate his physique, he prefers instead the comfort of a loose fit uniform with pockets and belt tidily arrayed with essentials. If anything gives Harry away, its the face. Craggy and more than a little wild with a look that has seen the austeer beauty of the universe and fallen hard for the void.

Biography
SHORT Bio (More professional, less autobiographical)-

During the short war on Aethica Harry was deployed as orbital infantry where he presumably gained his experience with long and short arms, survival gear and drop ship operations.

He later survived the long campaign against the Aethican belt rebellion, serving as a space marine with distinction, becoming something of a specialist in zero G combat and small, ship to ship tactics. Many of the mission entries are redacted but it is apparent most of his promotions occurred around this time.

Before leaving the military, Harry was certified to operate a number of common ships weapon systems however he was rejected from piloting twice, only ever being rated for small vessels.

He later served as an officer in the Dark Star mercenary company which was contracted in a number of systems surrounding Aethica during the decades long crackdown on the widening rebellion. There are no files on his activities during this period. He quit Dark Star after the war ended to look for "alternative work".

It’s not a surprise that the communications officer is friendly, usually open to a conversation, and has a propensity to talk anyone's ear off for as long as they’ll let her. Caliste is a conversationalist, great listener, and due to her secondary role as Records Management means she’s very excited for the scheduled meetings she gets with everyone to chat! She’s an endless optimist and looks for the best in both situations and people, thinking it can be found through proper… Communication. Bubbly, calm, and friendly, her job requires her to maintain communications with everyone and she plans to at the very least get along with the rest of the crew.

Appearance
Caliste has a lithe build, standing at 5’4” (1.5~ meters) with little bulk on her small stature. Large hazel eyes and a thick head of red hair are often the first thing eyes are drawn to, the usually large smile and light sprinkling of freckles along her cheeks are looked at second. She’s often seen in the mesh suit used under the EVA suits, finding them insulating on the usually cold ship and comfortable to wear. The oversized mechanic pants are also a staple for her, the space sweatpants were roomy and had various utilities from the pockets and straps lining them. Caliste is never seen without her ID and datapad, usually buried in it for the most part.

Biography
Born in Grenoble, France Caliste belonged to an average family, a florist and archaeologist with many siblings. Caliste did well for herself in school and wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps. They had the same alma mater, Caliste graduating from the University of Grenoble with an Anthropology degree and stayed to further it, as well as get a degree in Linguistics. Through her mother she was able to begin furthering her practice by joining her on the field almost immediately after leaving school. The program was thinking of choosing her mom, but luckily enough after she denied the request they looked to her instead.

Lively with an analytical mind, far from the stoic boneheaded hammer his visage paints him to be. Though despite being a genuinely good, arguably approachable person dedicated to the safety of others, PO1 Oyeyemi's often dark sense of humour, motivated bravado and on occasion sarcasm can make him across as a rather hard-to-acquire taste to some outside of his community. A person moulded to thrive in adverse conditions.
Appearance
Stood at 6'4" and around 225 pounds of well defined muscularity. Hardened facial features and, unfortunately, often more stoic expressions - they've an obvious degree of seasoning made evident by the many risen or fading scars of occupation. Dull brown eyes, a modestly bearded face with the hair on their head shaven down into a 'high and tight'. An Anglicised Nigerian accent is very much present in their speech. If not seen in their operational apparel, they are found garbed in a flame resistant, partially vacuum sealed military working uniform and main suit under-layer.
Biography
A tested career sailor/Navy EOD Voidsman - enlisting early at 16 through a junior SOC entrant program. Petty Officer Oyeyemi, often found in support of special warfare - is rightly considered a competent in the their chosen field - handling explosive ordnance and dangerous contaminates of all kinds with the utmost precision and professionalism. Their broad spectrum of competencies and real world experiences has shown them to be an excellent fit for the mission profile.

Dual rated a Master Extra-Vehicular Warfare (EVW) Specialist and Senior Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician in addition to having an array of special activity, clearance diving and CBRN/NBC certifications, making them an exceptional candidate as a member of the Mission Security Team to further specialise in Extreme Environment Survival, Combat Lifesaving, Remote/Hazardous Contact Control and Close Quarters Battle.

If a friend were to describe her, they'd say Linni is just a friendly person, who likes to make jokes and smile often. Or tell that she's a laid-back flirt. And that's all generally true, Linni simply a decidedly playful and loose person.

Off work, Linni's prone to being goofy with just about anyone. She's never been one to act differently or keep up appearances for others regardless of esteem for them. She likes to make light jokes and pokes fun at others here or there, seeming to always be lollygagging in her free time and never serious. That's the reason she has a record. Contradictory to the face she realizes to obey orders and holds respect to those with authority over her. But she isn't the type to behave in a very serious way unless need be.

Appearance
Linni has an attractive face and smooth skin, with exception to her uneven dimples and a sliced eyebrow scar close cut to the middle of her face. She stands at 5'8" being a leggy person, and weighs in at an exact 127 pounds. Her skin is tan with red undertones, and when tanned she becomes much darker. She has a spoon-shaped figure, keeps built with exercise, and is relatively shaped. Her favorite clothing choices can range from loose t-shirts and flowy skirts to long puffy jackets. She enjoys wearing comfy things and refuses to wear anything tight. Her hair is in a face-framing, loose bob with blunt swept bangs. She keeps her brown hair soft and wispy, managing it to have a sleek shine.

Biography
Considering her relaxed behavior, she isn't the exact type of person one would deem liable.
Contradictory to the fact she's proven in the past to be a thorough, responsible crew member and an extremely hard working pilot.
She's even known to become brash and show-offy when in tight situations. High stakes never scared her, and staying calm during the most grueling of crusades is a talent of hers. A fact that she likes to make a point of.

Normally, Iris is very easy going and relaxed. She's friendly and isnt hard to approach, enjoying conversation. She's helpful, always willing to give a hand to whoever may need it. At times, she can get aggressive if you manage to anger her, but its usually quick and Iris gets over it within the next few minutes. When it comes to her job, however, she takes things more seriously and becomes more focused. giving off a cool demeanor. She's very persistent and it isnt easy for her to give up. She becomes less talkative, only speaking when she needs to and becomes more blunt and straightforward as well.

Appearance
Iris stands at 5'5" with a slim body build. While she has some muscle, her body is more toned to endurance and cardio. She has jet black hair with grey/silver eyes. More often than not you'll find her wearing casual clothing. She isnt one to be fancy or extra about her appearance, rarely wearing makeup and dressing nicely, but if the occasion called for it, Iris wouldnt be opposed.

Biography
Iris was born into a family of 4, having a younger bother. Iris was an oddball. She wasnt the best in school and when it came time to find a college to go to, she instead chose to join the military. At first, she was only interested as serving as an infantry, but soon quickly found an interest in flying. She went through basic training and the flight academy, passing both will flying colors. At the same time, she also earned her technician certificate through the military, allowing her to work with all the machines and vehicles they used. In the flight academy, she proved to be extremely flexible, allowing her to be deployed into many different roles such as transport, aerial support and even as squadron command. Eventually, she was offered the position as the academy's chief flight instructor, to which she accepted. While she teaches other students, Iris was placed into the reserves, being called out to fly when circumstances required it.

The last year has been spent running several thousand simulations and 59 test flights. At the time of mission launch Legion knows the ISS Aurelian like the back of that one thin bit of his holographic - ... you get the idea.

Haddon Martouro

Personality
Austere and phlegmatic, Haddon seems to always be in control. That being said, he's not unsociable. In fact, he's phenomenal at playing the social chameleon and is generally able to get along with mosts. It's in his quiet moments alone that one would be able to really see the depth of his character.

He's quick to analyze and quicker to act, be that on people or situations.

A lot of this probably seems harmless, maybe even good qualities to some. But, Haddon is far from perfect and there are people that would say he's far from good. His morality and character can be very grey. Given the trade, he's grown ever vigilant and always ready for someone to out themselves as an enemy or in the very least a problem. That sort of thing makes a guy suspicious, slow to trust fully. As a result ol' Hado keeps himself preferably distant from even his peers.

Despite this, most will have good things to say about him, regardless of knowing very little about him. That is, unless they've crossed him. A wise move that is not.

He's got a penchant for manipulation and his emotional distance from others makes it easy for him to do things most would deem wrong or surely inappropriate. A stubbornness and lack of remorse (one bred, the other learned) makes it so that once he's locked in on something, it's just about set in stone; his flexibility lies in the means, not the ends.

He'd definitely cut off his nose to spite his face if spiting his face was the plan all along.

Appearance
Standing 6'1 and coming in at 235lbs, Haddon has the body of a prizefighter, though usually hidden under uniform or EVA suit. The observant would notice hints of his hardened physique in his silhouette.

Physicality aside, Haddon usually sports a somewhat rugged beard and around 15" length hair; both a rich, chestnut brown. Given the constraints of astronomics however, he's cut his hair ear length...but the beard stays.

A cool disposition is emphasized by a gritty baritone voice describable as equal parts soothing and imposing. The latter being further accentuated by an intense russet smolder.

That and everything else is wrapped beautifully in an olive complexion.

Biography
Upon graduating from the premier United Nations Military Academy in the Sol system, Haddon majored in International studies and branched Military Intelligence having been unable to secure a slot in Psychological Operations. This choice and opportunity led him on quite the journey. At first feeling like little more than a desk job with a few incursions into the field now and again, the tone of the work changed dramatically once he found himself more ascendant in rank and experience. This opened up a litany of options for development in fields from black budget expenditures to diplomatic relations. Being more ambitious in the hands on sense, Haddon opted to try his hand at black bagging. Becoming eligible turned out of be the easy part, as the pipeline was all too close to impossible. Having to learn everything from advanced small unit tactics to counter-interrogation to ordinance deployment.

Of the hundred some odd candidates that entered with him 29 graduated at the end of the 6 year long course.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Appearance
Like anyone in the prime of their youth, Jasper is a strapping lad with sharp, angular features, hair as red as rust and eyes as warm and dark as chocolate. His years of manufacturing and maintaining various models of spacecraft has molded him into a sturdy, skillful young man, standing over 5'10 with an eye for detail and a penchant for hard work. He isn't very particular over what he wears, but makes an effort to look, at the very least, presentable despite the grimy, unpleasant aspects of his field.
