Personality:
Lissa, before Luke's death, was a totally different person. Despite their living situation, she was perky and peppy and always smiling. She wore brightly colored clothes, and had a thing for bangles. She was in the choir at school, along with a few other extracurriculars. She always had something to do, and she was more than happy to go home to her brother at night.

After his death, she changed completely. She dyed her hair for the first time at fifteen, and though her parents freaked, there wasn't much they could do other than shave it off or wait for it to grow out, so they left it alone. She threw every single bangle she had away, and traded in her multicolored tank tops for black hoodies. She became an outcast, dropping out of every after school activity she was in. She didn't make friends easily, and graduated high school with no party to go to to celebrate that night. Now that she's in the band, she's a little more like she used to be, but still somewhere in the middle.

Bio​

Bio:
Lissa grew up with an alcoholic father and a drug addicted mother. She had an older brother, Luke, who swore to always take care of her. He protected her when their parents got into fights, and held her as she cried herself to sleep. Living in that house was hell, but Luke made it okay. He made sure she had clothes on her back and food in her belly, and as she got older he made sure that she finished her homework and helped him with the chores. It wasn't his job to be a parent to her, but he took it upon himself to do.

Maybe that's why he committed suicide. Lissa came home from school one day at the tender age of twelve to find that he'd hung himself, right there in his bedroom. He'd left a note that she still has to this day, although nobody knows about it. Her screams caught the attention of her parents, who rushed in to find their son dead and cold, and their daughter trying to tear him down and bring him back.

His death straightened out her parents. For a little while. Lissa started dealing with depression mood swings and was diagnosed as bipolar at fourteen after her mood swings became so much that not even her parents could handle them. School was awful.They spent months fighting with her to get her to take her pills, but it wasn't until she met a bandmate (although they weren't a band at the time) that she straightened out and started taking her medication. She met (insert band mate here)'s friends and bandmates at the age of eighteen, and auditioned for their band just for something to do, and lo and behold, she became their singer. Now they've made it big, and she couldn't be happier.

Face claim: Luke Holland Orion grew up with a passion in music, a way to speak up and express his feelings. Well, sort of. Here's the main point of all of this: When Orion discovered he could play the drums amazingly for anyone willing to hear, he would go around with a pair of drumsticks and beat on trash cans around his neighborhood or town center. He wanted everyone to hear what he could do. At school he was part of the marching band. He didn't fit in, though, for a lot of reasons. He was extremely loud and energetic but he was picky. He didn't like the people in the marching band so he didn't even want to talk to them unless it was about formations and learning a new song. Towards the end of his high school career, Orion left the marching band and instead tried out for a band that had posted some flyers out around the school. They didn't have a name, there was one person, and as soon as he played the drums, he was in. He was known for that skill even if he didn't want to speak to everyone who knew him around the school.

On his left arm is a full tattoo of a variety of colors. Considering he continued adding to the tattoo over time, he plans to get even more as he gets older, for the heck of it.

Orion is a rather mellow guy, well, when he hasn't let out his daily dose of extreme energy. He has ADHD and when he hasn't taken his medication like he's supposed to, he's a hyperactive mess, and he can't even let it out. Other times, it's easier to get him to calm down. He grew up using the drums as one way to let out his energy when he needed to as well as his anger. But that was another story for another time. Orion is caring, he hates people who leave him without telling him, it's a form of betrayal that can't be taken back. He'd never do that to someone because he feels that once you're in someone's life it's because you're meant to be there for each other. He's like a child in an adult's body - even though he's only 20. If you mention food or dessert, he's all for it. Sour candy especially, he loves himself some sour candy. Most people don't want to give it to them though since it'll often give him an energy spike. He may need someone to look after him sometimes when or if he makes bad choices, so more than 50% of the time, but there are definitely times when he's the guy to go to for any advice or questions you mig

Orion was born in Australia and into a family that wasn't your average, happy picture family. When he was born, he was youngest. It was his mother, his older brother, Devlyn, his father, and his grandmother. His father was abusive, addicted to cocaine and alcohol. He was never home but when he was things weren't a pretty sight. When he was home, Devlyn took Orion and their grandmother into the back room of the small trailer that they called home. By the time Orion was five, his mother was expecting another child, and at the news, Orion's father left. He said adios, not really though. Not a note or a single warning. He left one morning and never returned. Orion didn't know what to think of it. Nobody properly explained it to him. He grew up knowing anger and violence, drugs and alcohol. But he also grew up knowing that family came first and true family stuck together. Being blood made you related but it didn't make you family. Orion's father was his dad but he wasn't his family. If he ever came back, Orion would definitely pretend like he didn't exist. But he also wouldn't have any chance of finding them because by the time Orion's younger sister Elizabeth was born, his mother had found another boyfriend. They were already engaged, too. She clearly needed someone who she thought would help her family move forward. Well, that's what Devlyn said, anyways. The man had money, enough to get them out of the dump that they were living in. His family was moved into a much nicer house, all the away in America, where he and Devlyn shared a room and his younger sister stayed with his grandmother. They were happy for once. If not happy, simply stable, satisfied. His stepfather gave him everything he could possibly imagine. A drum set, new clothes, toys. Whatever he wanted, he had it in some time. He enjoyed it for many reasons as a child. Orion's stepfather, or who he called his true father, taught him what a real man needed to be. He didn't need to fight the other kids at school when things weren't going his way, instead he could relax, go about his own business, and come home and beat on some drums.

growing up it was just kai and his uncle. his mother and father were long gone, watching him from the skies above. did kai miss them? yeah, but not as much as he feel he should have. that void was kept occupied by his musically gifted and artsy uncle. the same uncle taught him the wonders of instruments and making music with those instruments. kai spent a great deal of his time learning how to play the guitar and learning how to read sheet music or tune a guitar.

  Elisa can be a very cool band manager, but you're in for a surprise if you don't think she's willing to get sidetracked or play games. She's a no-nonsense, let's-get-down-to-business type of gal who just happens to love rocking out to amazing music. She's a bit like "the mom" of the band. Having two kids of her own, she actually is a mom. She is caring, but also very career-oriented. Her husband is often the one staying home with the kids while she books gigs, studio time and endorsement deals for Metanoia. People unfamiliar with Elisa might think she is strict and uncompromising, but those who have spent more time with her know she just likes to be efficient. She loves arranging things to assist the band with channeling their creative energy. In her own free time, Elisa likes to play guitar and write her own music, though she would never pursue it for herself because she believes she isn't good and is too old to break into the industry as an artist. Despite this, she does feel emboldened by the compliments from her friends when they hear her songs. Elisa views herself as a businesswoman first, a mother second, and an arist on the side. Her self-perception is a bit problematic in many instances, but she seems unwilling to change any time soon.

  Elisa Roscow (Maiden Name: Desmarais) was born in Aquitaine, FR, before moving to the Florida at age seven. When she arrived, she began playing the guitar, bass, and drums, as well as piano. She was relatively friendless throughout middle school, but when high school arrived she moved yet again. She began her freshman year in Seattle. She was a natural in math, and lots of school came easy to her, so she began tapping into her creative side. The music scene in Seattle allowed for a young Elisa to flourish. She practiced her music non-stop and in her sophomore year formed a band - The Amateur Scientists - with two of her best friends and the future love of her life, Dean Roscow. Dean wrote all the songs for the band and the Amateur Scientists went on to publish two albums, Insanium Vibranium and Borrowed Time. However, soon the band split up to go to college. Dean and Elisa went to Berkley together, where they fell in love. Elisa studied music and business, leading her to become a talent manager at a big firm while Dean became an accountant before deciding he'd prefer to be a stay-at-home dad. Elisa supported his decision.

  The talent agency gave Elisa simple directions: Find a pop act. So she searched. She traveled across the country looking for the next Taylor Swift. Everywhere she traveled she was promised she was meeting "the next big thing." Instead, she was greeted with more of the same. Teenage girls with rich parents who auto-tuned all of the demos sent in. Or teenage guys who looked as if they spent more time practicing poses than working on their music. She took a break from her search for a while and began listening with local bands. She listened to a slew of half-decent ones before hearing one that caught her attention. She loved their unique sound and chemistry on stage. She asked the agency if it was okay if she managed the band instead. They said no. She didn't care. She began booking gigs and studio time for Metanoia until they started building a name, without a paycheck no-less. When the band started bringing in money, the agency wanted her back. By then, she had moved on from talent searches. Her dreams lived in managing a touring band, and that band was Metanoia.

Manuel Both

Personality
Manuel is very well might be one of the shyest people on the planet, even around those that he is comfortable with. He hardly speak, though he sometimes makes quick-witted and sarcastic remarks that catch everyone off-guard. Everyone would probably forget he was there if he didn’t. Manuel can play the guitar and sing quite well, but he lacks the confidence to perform in front of anyone. Manuel deals with clinical depression, but being on the road with his best friends certainly helps. Manuel isn’t the brightest crayon in the box, and he knows it too. School was never his thing. There are times, though, when Manuel comes out of his shell. Either when he’s drunk or angry, which hardly ever happens. When this does happen, though, he tends to be very reckless and can cause some severe damage to himself and the people he cares about. However, he usually tends to be very caring and considerate towards others.

Before The Band
Manuel was born in Cambridge, England, and moved to the United States after high school. He jumped around from job, to job, to job, to job. He didn’t have many friends in the UK, so moving to the United States didn’t really affect his social life. The hardest part was leaving his mother. Growing up, he didn’t know how dad, so he was extremely close with his mom. She encourage him to go out and explore the world and what it had to offer. He still calls everyday, though. Embarrassing fact about Manuel, poor thing has never had a girlfriend. Sure, he kissed a few girls in high school. Never a real relationship, though. Manuel didn’t fair too well in school, socially or academically. When he was seventeen, he dropped out of high school. He moved to the states a year later.

Becoming A Roadie
Music had always been Manuel’s passion. Playing guitar was the only thing that he actually felt good at. So he figured the best thing he could do was join the music industry. He searched for a job for over a year. However, the only thing he could find was a janitorial position at a music talent angency. He usually worked on the floor of Elisa Roscow’s office. She was always so nice to him. Elisa might’ve been the only person in the building who ever smiled at or said ‘hello’ to Manuel. He eventually started having small conversations with her. He always says that Elisa was his first friend in the States. He was heartbroken when he heard she left the agency. He was the one that cleaned out her office. It was kinda like leaving his mom all over again. However, Elisa got ahold of him and asked if he’d be interested in helping out as a technician of sorts with her new talent. A roadie, basically. The gigs started off small, then they blew up. Manuel’s job is always the same, though: tuning guitars and setting up amps.

Matthew Seomun​

Name: Matthew Seomun
Age: 21
Role: Lead-Guitarist
Personality: While on stage oftenly made to act and look like a "badass" tough guy, Matthew is the exact opposite. He is first and foremost a jokster. His jokes arent particulary good, meaning they oftenly are bad puns and such things, but they are still ones that make you smirk. It´s hard to be in a bad mood around him, since he will not stop annoying you with his jokes until you eventually have to smile.
He does however know when to stop joking, coming to the second big part of his personality. The caring side. He spots when jokes are not the right way to go about it, sometimes a bit late, but he does. That is why he always has an open ear for others problems and will never stop giving suggestions or helping out where he can. He cares about everyone, he helps everyone and he never asks for anything in return. That is his biggest issue. He does everything for others, but fails to do things for himself. His own wishes and feelings get ignored, if they collide with what somebody else would want or if he had to ask others for a favor for it. Even if he was in his deepest depression, he would smile and joke if he saw others frown.

Other: Has a talent to sing himself, but he never said anything about the fact he´d like to have small vocal parts himself. He didnt want to have Lissa feel threatened or anything similar.

  Meet Adam Rodrigo, the unabashedly cocky party animal of the band. Bassist may be commonly associate with passiveness and simplicity, but Adam is far from that description. He can be a bit of a jerk and is quite the lady's man, but at the end of the day, he's a musician. His passion begins and ends with playing bass. However, that doesn't give a complete picture of the man that is Adam. Adam is the guy who you leave with your beer, only to find it empty when you return. He's the guy who believes that as long as there isn't a ring on it, it's fair game. He's the guy who you call your friend because he's always "there for you", but who you don't really trust is there for you. However, he's also the guy who makes sure that parties are never dull and that everyone feels included. He just happens to be one hell of a bassist - another thing forcing the band to keep him around. Adam is spoiled to top it all off, but he's willing to humble himself.

  Musical History​
  
  Adam was born to rich parents, and it shows. He grew up with the fanciest of musical instructors brought in to turn him into a classical pianist. He worked hard of the piano, but begged his parents to let him learn the double bass as well. They obliged. His interest slowly shifted to jazz and then to rock. He still plays classical music on the side, but rock bass is his predominant passion. He played in small bands throughout middle and high school and he felt frustrated, believing he was the only member in any of them working hard and actually looking to improve. When he heard about auditions for Metanoia, Adam decided that would be his last venture before dipping back into jazz. When he met with the band, they just gelled. He was able to lay down grooves and riffs that the rest of the band could work with. He slowly found his place within the group and began to assert himself as a bassist with a stage presence that could not be ignored. His on-stage chemistry with Matthew and the rest of the band is amazing.

  Adam was the type of guy to always reach his firsts first. First first word. First walk. First girlfriend. First kiss. First time. First beer. First blackout. His parents never monitored him too closely when he was growing up, so he participated in a lot of things before he was mature enough. This altered the way he behaves and acts. When he was sixteen, his best friend found out his girlfriend had cheated on him with Adam. Adam had a childhood of acting out to get attention, even as the only child. From the beginning, he was bound to be a hot mess. He constantly searches for the thrill because that's what was the foundation of his childhood.
