Unlikely Attachment (1x1 between Penblade1326 and Nakinagara)

Hunter shrugged. "It's got a lot of diversity to it. I think it'd be easier to do. Why? That make you uncomfortable?" He asked softly, pretending to not notice the blushing. Hunter honestly thought that sexuality was an easy subject, not intending to make things...awkward. "Sexuality isn't that hard to do...I think he'd get it done in like an hour." He stated.

Hunter rolled his eyes at the green haired bitch. He sighed. "Well you sounded offended. Just saying." He said bluntly. His voice was soft, yet stern. He took the cigarette out of his mouth, holding it between his fingers. "I've got my house to myself today. We could go there. Or your place, if you prefer." He offered, not caring where they go.

Hunter sighed and nodded, leading Nick to his place. He kept smoking the cigarette as they walked, blowing smoke clouds every now and then. He savored it...he smoked rarely, though he enjoyed it. As they approached his house, he took a deep breath and...without cringing, put the cigarette out...on his arm, giving himself a little burn. It didn't even phase him! He tossed the butt aside. Hunter lead Nick to the front door of the average-looking house, unlocked it, and walked inside.

Hunter looked at Nick. "I guess so. Grab a seat on the couch." He said, gesturing over to the couch, walking over himself and plopping down, setting his backpack down on the coffee table in front of him.

Hunter shrugged. "I dunno...I guess we could talk about the science behind sexuality...or maybe something like the different types of sexual orientation...something along those lines." Hunter said, trying to lead this project into A-grade category.

"I think you must know something about human sexuality. You are a human, yes? And you have a sexuality, yes?" Hunter asked sarcastically. He himself wasn't that well of a student...he was passing all of his classes, though he still had room for improvement. Nick probably didn't care about Hunter though....just passing this assignment. "I can think we can manage." He said.He rolled his eyes, and began work.

(sorry for my long gaps between posting, I've been busy Dx)

Hunter rolled his eyes as well. He glared back at Nick. "Just...I don't know..look up something online about sexuality. Whatever." He said. He, frankly, didn't want to have to interact with his kid. He wanted to get an A, be done with it, and just ignore Nick forever.

Hunter shrugged. "Make yourself useful or something...I don't know...write down a paragraph on sexual orientation or something." He said, spitting out whatever words came to mind. He didn't mean to be an ass...but he hated working with one of the "cool kids." He sighed and reached over to grab a paper off the far edge of the coffee table, his sleeve pulled back as he did...and most of his left arm's scars were revealed without him knowing.

Hunter continued his work. Hours passed by, Hunter had finally came to a good point to stop for today. He let out a breath. "I think that's good for one night...I've got a lot of stuff about sexuality and how it affects our actions. What do you have?" He asked, glancing over at Nick at his side, breaking the silence.

Hunter nodded. "I can put these together and make something out of them, I guess. So, when do you want to work together, next?" He asked, sounding as if he cared...although he was honestly dreading next time he had to be alone with Nick.

Hunter nodded. "Alright. Just come find me at school tomorrow and let me know." Hunter said softly. He brushed his hair out of his eyes and looked up at Nick, revealing his soft blue eyes, blinking. Hunter then glanced away, adjusting himself on the couch.

"See ya." Hunter said as Nick left. He let out a heavy sigh. "Finally....I thought he'd never leave." He said to himself. He stood up from the couch, heading for the stairs. His parents had both came home, through the back, so he and Nick must have never noticed. He passes his mother on the stairs. "Hi, mom..." He said quietly, she merely waved, not even giving him a second glance. At the top of the stairs stood his father. "H-hi dad.." He said...his father ignored him. He sighed and trudged to his room. He striped down to his underwear and locked the door. He lay in bed for hours...letting the night die off. As always...he wished his parents would come to at least say goodnight. Even though he's 18...he'd still like that "baby" moment with them. He drifted off into thought...soon letting warm tears fall down his cheeks, until he finally fell asleep.

The next morning, Friday morning, Hunter arose and went about his daily routine. He showered, brushed his teeth, fixed his hair, got dressed, skipped breakfast and left for school. He clutched his notebooks tightly in hand and walked to school.

Hunter met up with his friends as per usual, trudging their way into school. People tossed things at them, called them names as they walked by...nothing they couldn't handle. Hunter walked into 1st period, alone. He had a substitute, so he took it as an opportunity to lay his head down.

Time went on. It was lunch again, and Hunter was on his way to the cafeteria, walking with Will. Drew and Olivia were already inside, but he and Will had met up in the hall and decided to walk. A few of the cool kids just snickered, taking note that he and his friend were together most of the time...close. 'Couple of I'm uncultured," one commented. They went on to make more slurs and rude remarks...Hunter and Will were friends and nothing more. They ignored the comments as they walked past more of the "cool kids".

Just as Hunter and Will entered the cafeteria, some guy decided to jerk Hunter's arm. He ignored it. Drew and Olivia were waiting at the table already. The same guy decided to shove Hunter this time. But it felt like a small nudge. The guy decided to speak. "I'm uncultured," he said to them. Hunter. Hated. That. Word. He didn't identify as gay, but he hated that word. Will hated it, too. His fists clenched. "What if we are? What then? you think you're the big man because you're a fucking asshole?" Hunter said, angrily. He turned to Will...and just started kissing him. Will was surprised...but he went along with it. Everyone started looking...two guys...making out....randomly. Hunter was making a point...hopefully not the wrong one.

Everyone laughed, some even cheered, at Hunter and Will. When they finally broke the kiss, they just high-fived, flipped everyone off, and took their seats. The jerk from before simply felt embarrassed because they were shown support and cheers..even for being outcasts. Hunter acted like nothing happened at all. He watched as Nick left the cafeteria, only wondering slightly about why he left.

Hours had passed after school. This time, Hunter was heading to Nick's place to work on the project after school. He visited his locker shortly before heading out the front doors. His tall figure loomed over most of the crowded halls as he exited the building. He logged onto facebook via his phone, and though he didn't have Nick added, he was able to see where Nick lived. He followed the address online and began his walk, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

Hunter had finally arrived at Nick's house. He knocked on the front door in a haste, just wanting to get in and get out before he got too annoyed with the green-haired boy. Hunter let out a rough sigh as he waited for the door to be answered by somebody, anybody. He constantly played with his hands, his fingers stronger and somewhat delicate at the same time. He checked his invisible watch, just wanting to get this over with.

(finally home for the weekend!)

"Hey," Hunter replied in a similar tone to Nick. He let himself in the house, brushing past Nick on his way in, not paying any mind to him at all. He just wanted to get to work so they could be done sooner. After taking his shoes off and setting his bag down, he faced Nick, still at the door frame. "Before we get started...I've got a question." Hunter said softly.

Hunter looked at Nick. "You left today in a massive hurry. Like you were running from something. I can't help but be a little curious as to why." He stated, not asking a question, but more stating a fact. He was very curious to know, his pale blue eyes gazing at Nick with utmost concentration.

"Whatever you say, shitbag." Hunter said, nodding to Nick's words. He called people he didn't like 'shitbag'...it was fitting. He gently brushed against Nicks shoulder as he passed by him, his broad shoulder lightly pushing off of Nicks as Hunter walked into the direction of both the stairs and the kitchen, assuming they'd work in one of those spaces.

Hunter followed Nick up the stairs to his bedroom. Once they arrived, Hunter set his bag down on the floor and took his notebook out, as well as a binder. he then plopped down onto Nick's bed, making himself comfortable on the end of it, right by a t shirt that had been laying on Nick's bed all day. Hunter didn't mind the shirt being there, he did the same thing in his bedroom. He left laundry scattered around every now and then. He cleared his throat. "So, did you get anything done when we weren't together?" He asked bluntly, brushing his dark hair out of his pale blue eyes as he looked at Nick.

Hunter shrugged. "A little bit. Looked up a few things online about the topic before I just passed out." He stated, setting his notebook on his lap and opening it to a blank page, leaving room for new information about the topic they were working on. He let out a breath as he pulled out his phone and started looking more stuff up online, as opposed to using a book. He started to wonder why he was there...not like he need to actually be there. They could easily work together online or something. At the mere thought of his stupidity, he gently smacked the top of his own head, still holding his sharp pencil, barely missing as it slipped and nearly stabbed his eye.

He sighed as he nearly blinded himself. He glanced at Nick, noticing his sigh at the phone. "What is it?" He asked curiously. Not in a douchebag way...but simply curious as to what was wrong. Human decency? From the outcast?
