Terra approached the Black Lantern, both of them looking toward each other. Terra's eyes shifted all around Black Lantern, almost unsurprised at what she's looking at.

"So, it's true." Terra said, nonchalantly. "I could of stooped lower."

"Aw, baby." Black Lantern said in a rather sweet, yet patronizing, tone. "I'm almost sad that you didn't. So, did those numbnuts down at Superhero Corps send you to fight me?"

"You could say that." Terra replied. "Maybe I'm here to avenge Cyborg."

"C'mon." Black Lantern said, sinisterly. "He's not even your Cyborg."

"Could've been." Terra said.

"Pfft, as if you care for those idiots." Black Lantern said.

"I do." Terra said. "Problem was that I was a lost teenager who used her emotions as an excuse to hurt people. You, and the other hand, use them to kill people. Still do."

"Pfft....hehehehahahahAHHAHAHAHAHA!" Black Lantern laughed. "Hun, there's one thing that you can't seem to grasp even now." Black Lanterns mouth began to salivate, as her rotting teeth glare in the sun. "I am you!"

"No....You're just a nightmare, a bad dream." Terra lifts up her hands, from the sidelines, dirt and mud begin to rise, surrounding the battlefield. "You shouldn't exist. A past that needs to be buried!"

Slamming her hands together, Terra sends all the dirt and soil out towards Black Lantern. It slams into her, and begins to wrap around her person, forming into a massive ball. Terra lowers her arms, and sighs. She turns to HUNK. "You can continue looking for your guy now, I'm going to take her bac-"

WHAM!!!!

A pillar of rock flies right out of the ground, smashing into Terra's head, knocking her back. She lay on the ground, bleeding. The boulder cracks, slowly opening. From the cracks, Black Lantern energy seeps through, morphing into various forms. Four large horse legs slam into the ground, all of them looking as if they're covered in warts, the hooves having mouths with overgrown sharp teeth lining them. From the top, a large humanoid body formed, arms twisted and mangled, long disjointed fingers ending with long claws. It's head was hard do describe, looking like it wanted to be a horse, and alligator, and a werewolf all at the same time, it too having a multitude of teeth.

The creature before them let out a screeching roar, it's anger made it bloodthirsty.

She barely had time to catch her breath and to make matters worse, her Legatus needed charging. Marie had taken it to the weapons lab to charge, so this would put Akira out of action until it was finished. For now, she entered the women's locker room to shower and clean herself up.

When the smoke cleared, the bodysuited Black Knight made her move. The move was nothing short of cowardice as Terra was pelted in the back of the head, knocked unconscious as four pillar-like entities resembling horse legs slammed into the ground; transmutating into some sort of shadow-horrors. 'So much for asking about ROE.' Jack thought to himself. Switching on his E-Band, Jack spoke up; wasting no time issuing orders as he immediately begin to backpedal toward the incapacitated woman."Two, nade the cluster. Three, Four- engage primary, watch spacing." Jack didn't dare turn his back to the Black Lantern; DMR raised and leveled center mass as he reached the woman. Without breaking line of sight, the Spartan took his index and middle finger; placing them delicately on the carotid artery in an attempt to check for a pulse. He had no idea how durable superheroes were, and for all intents and purposes, he was entirely expecting a casualty.

Felix, meanwhile, strafed off to the left as he snarled out to the trio of fuckery. "OY, ARSE-FACES! C'mere!" With that, he reached down to snatch a grenade on his left hip as he depressed the center handle into the sphere; causing an audible 'CLICK!' to come from the explosive as he fastballed it through the air and right in the middle of the creatures. With a secondary click, the double-fuse grenade now had about a second left before it exploded. Felix, however, leveled his Grenade Rifle toward the trio and fired. If the first explosion wouldn't take them out, hopefully, the second would finish the job.

Hailey backpedaled and went to the right, with Ellie strafing clockwise around the Lantern and releasing a hail of gunfire from her MA5K Carbine. Hailey herself ensured the attention was minimized to her through Ellie's immediate assault; dropping to a knee and scoping in the Lantern's torso as she fired a 14.7mm APFSDS anti-material round.

Terra slowly moved, her body was shaking like crazy. The entire half portion of her face was now a crimson red, as she looked up toward Jackson. "I-I thin- ow- I th-Think I pissed her off....."

The creature's legs slowly moved the entire beast forward, trying to close in on the bunch. The creatures torso was bombarded with bullets from the female soldier's weapons, looking toward Hailey. It lifts up one of it's clawed hands, ready to throw it toward the Spartan. While that happened, the beasts legs looked over to Felix who yelled toward them, their mouths snapping as they try to move the boulder around for them to attack. The appendages were bamboozled when Felix threw the explosives at them, exploding in between them. The explosion rocked the entire beast, both appendages shattering like glass, and causing the boulder to crack open. Black Lantern, within the boulder, clenches her fist to close the sphere once again, trying to reconstruct the beast she created.

From behind the beast, the Knight stood, watching as the battle raged. He was targeted by both these parties, and had to be cautious of his next move.

Lucia pulled off an impressive vertical leap and, with her swords raised, impacted against Black Lantern's construct. Each blow siphoned the dark power into her amulet, building up power for her Devil Trigger. "HYA!" she shouted as she finished the aerial combo with an axe kick.

HUNK's sensors picked up a ping as he flew over, and he instinctively dove in to get a closer look. There he was, the knight who had given the agents the slip previously. He landed beside the knight and halted him. "You're being hunted by someone who intends to capture or kill you," he stated without hesitation. "Don't try to run. We're here to extract you and bring you to safety." What a way to break the ice...

Leo approached slowly, keeping his shield up and ready to parry and his sword poking out beside the shield towards Meta Galacta. "I cannot do that," he insisted, refusing to leave Meta Knight to his fate. "There is no honor in throwing away your life!" He then hunkered down and dashed forward, letting the shield provide maximum coverage. His guard didn't break until he closed the gap, at which point, he thrust the sword forth with a powerful stab attack.

Kain saw everything with a grim expression, silently watching what occurred. He looked over to Meta Knight and spoke to him, "I don't think any of us wants to leave you, so just accept that and let us deal with that fiend together". He saw Meta Galacta and how angry he became, seeing how he wanted to challenge the three of them, to which Kain happily agreed. Walking a bit forward, he slammed his fists into his palm and conjure two Tao Mandals, ready to fight.

With a mighty flap of his wings, Meta Galacta lunged himself toward Leo. He spins in the air to dodge the bullets from Lin's firearm, and he too thrusted his lance into Leo's blade, clashing their weapons together. He stands holding his position, his eyes looking up at the large beast, his strength showing that he was no mere puff ball. However, Leo's size proved to be a bit of a warning call, as Meta Galacta began to slide back a little. He then leaps away from Leo, and with a swing of his lance, launches two energy waves toward Kain and Lin.

The knight turned over to HUNK, he stepped back a little as they two looked at each other. His elderly voice reaching through his old helmet. "I am on a mission of my own accord. I will not let some hollow wench stand in my way. Or you. Besides, it seems we share a common enemy with this abomination."

Black Lantern's creature began to thrash about as Lucia attacked it, the axe kick knocking it back. It opens it's mouth, two tonsil like glands in it's neck pulsate, before firing two beams toward the demon slayer, slowly lifting it's head to blast anyone in it's way. The knight seems to pull out a strange crossbow, sighing as he looked at it.

"As long as you don't try anything funny, I'll assist in sending this vile demon to where she belongs." He flicks his wrist, the mechanism clanking. "I don't know what magic your suit has, but I hope you can use it against that thing."

Lin Swore under his breath, When Meta galacta Dodges his bullets, but then lin Dodges The Energy Blast, because he doesn't want to Go back to getting repaired, for 400th time. He Ran to meta knight."Are you okay sir?"He asked.

While Lin ran away, for reasons unknown to Kain, which frankly annoyed a little but he won't judge people's battle tactic. And besides, they might not be great for combat so he didn't mind too much. He also saw how Meta Galacta went straight for Leo, which means he didn't look like a major threat to him, which he didn't bother him because his opponents often think that which usually leads to thier downfall. As the energy wave came to him, using his Tao Mandalas as a focus for him he conjured the Shield of the Seraphim, skillfully, without any incantations.

As the energy wave hit the mystically invoked barrier, he could've felt the power behind the attack, which made Kain concerned because if that energy wave was to hit him, he would've been flatted and mauled by the force. This made him start to reconsider his strategy against Meta Galacta.

He then tapped into the ambient magical energies of the surrounding environment, which sadly wasn't much, he stretched out his right hand, by controlling the forces of nature caused thick vines, which wasn't strong however but the sudden move could disrupt Meta Galacta's focus, to erupt from the ground to bind and pull Meta Galacta from Leo.

Leo seized the opportunity presented when Meta Galacta divided his attention to attack the others. With Kain also adding pressure, he threw himself at the lance-wielding foe. This time, he aimed to plow into his foe with the legend shield. The bludgeoning was followed up with a mighty downward swing, the paired maneuvers showcasing the beast-man's natural strength and speed.

HUNK didn't like what this man was spouting. It was too evident this knight was stalling the agent. "There's a man in armor like mine coming, and he won't be as nice." he informed his target. His arm thrust towards the crossbow to grab it. "... And if she knows you're here, he'll find out."

Meanwhile, Lucia rolled out of the laser's way, the beams trailing upwards instead of following her. She hurled two daggers aimed for the glands, and then quickly swapped the crescent stone in her amulet for a pale blue one reminiscent of a moon. She was ready to pull that Devil Trigger and brute-force her way through these defenses.

The burst of demonic energy preceded the barrage of blades and blows that bombarded the beast and rattled Black Lantern's boulder. Lightning danced across her blades, lashing out to augment the swipes she delivered in between her dodge maneuvers.

Meta Galacta held his shield in front of himself as Leo charged at him, but he looks down to see his feet being grazed by the dead plant life now grazing his feet. This was enough to distract the warrior enough for Leo's attack to smash into him, causing the warrior to be thrown back. Meta Galacta catches himself, launching into the air just as Leo's blade made contact with the ground. He holds up his lance, and spins like a drill. He drops from the sky, and digs himself into the dirt below. Meta Galacta moves like a worm in the ground, before stopping for a moment under Kain, the dirt glowing orange, a fire pillar about to strike the magic man.

Meta Knight looks up at Lin, having taken quite a beating. "I hate to admit it, but he is quite strong. If you wish to beat him, you must strike at the precise moment."​

"She's here because he knows I am here." The knight said. "The man in the white armor is only getting in the way of slaying the man behind all this."

The beast's beams were stopped by the knives, it's screeching roar echoing across the city. As it staggers back, it looks over to see HUNK and the knight in a stand off. "Weeeeeell! Lookie here!" The knight looks up at the abomination as it smashes it's deformed hand into the side of the building. "Everyone's just dying to get you, "Ashen One" but I think I'm going to just kill you instead and RUIN THIS FOR EVERYONE-"

Before she could do such a thing, the beast was bombarded by a flurry of attacks, the construct Black Lantern had made began to shatter even more, the boulder breaking enough that Black Lantern's glowing eyes could be seen. "Stupid bitch! I'll KILL YOU!" The boulder crumbled a little more, Black Lantern was in a tight spot, not knowing if she must keep the beast from being destroyed, or focus on defense. Her anger began to cloud her thinking.

'Oh, shit..' Jack thought to himself, grimacing underneath his helmet. Her bones didn't look broken, but the amount of blood blurring skin and hair together sure gave him haste to get her medically attended. "Don't talk, save your energy. Can you walk?" At least the woman wasn't unconscious. "Three, on my position- we've got wounded."

Felix yelled at the explosion decimating the monstrosities; now raising his Grenade Rifle and sending a round right toward the Black Lantern. He began to backpedal into a leftward straife as he reloaded the breech and sent round after round at the body glove-clad woman. "Eat it ya feckin' betch!"

"On it!" Hailey exclaimed as she dived to the right in a combat roll; keeping a careful eye on the beat's blast trajectory before standing upright and moving in a dead sprint over to Jack as she flicked her right hand out. A visibly blue field shimmered around her as she appeared to slam her right palm a few feet above the ground. A tessellating pale blue hemisphere grew from the ground into a four-person-sized dome; its surface dominated by evenly spaced hexagons as the bubble itself appeared to steadily pulse. Rather steadily, Terra's energy would begin to come back and her discomfort began to fade; the enigmatic shield's regenerative properties took effect. As soon as she deployed the Drop Shield, Hailey ran back out into the battlefield and sent another high-powered round at the center mass of the Black Lantern.

Ellie kept firing in a circling pattern around the knight; attempting to flank behind her and draw her attention away from the wounded. "HUNK, we need fire support ASAP!"

Kain could feel the ground shaking as it began to illuminate from heat about to burst from the ground. Instinctively, Kain's Cloak of Levitation pulled him before he could react to the attack from below, as he was pulled Meta Galacta burst from the ground and force knocked Kain backed, making him tumble and roll on the ground. He groaned as he got up slowly, he needed to think fast, Meta Galacta was on to him and if he doesn't do anything soon, he'll probably get speed blitzed in seconds. So when Meta Galacta burst through the ground in fury and was up in the air, Kain turned to them and raised both his arms in the air making the Karana mudrā with his fingers as he summoned three draconic beings from the Nether Dimension that came from within Kain. The dragons were extremely massive in size and all three simultaneously blasted their scorching flames at Meta Galacta.

Leo was astounded to see his adversary burrow into the ground. He then witnessed the vicious altercation that was Meta Galacta versus Kain, both fighting fire with fire. With the three dragons spewing fire back at the enemy, Leo produced the dark gem with the faint streaks of fire dancing along its underside. A constellation appeared in the black sky, followed by the image of an ideal Greco-Roman man.



“Giamateus!” Leo invoked the earth elemental for a spell familiar to many at the UCA. A spray of tiny meteors fell from the sky, creating a whole storm of hazards for Meta Galacta to dodge if he wanted to avoid the magnificent flames.

HUNK reluctantly released the knight once Black Lantern noticed them. “Fine...” He acquiesced to the knight’s wishes before turning his palm to blast the cracking core of the construct. Repulsors had considerable recoil due to their dual function as flight stabilizers, but the agent’s physical prowess combined with the suit’s built-in shock absorption technology offset the heavy kick.

Upon request for fire support, HUNK let one forearm panel open, another compact missile launching. This one separated mid-flight into a dozen tiny warheads.

Lucia’s amulet was drained after avoiding the blasts from both Felix and HUNK. For the minimal amount of build-up, she was able to deal a decent amount of damage with the surge of power. Though Black Lantern was a new enemy to the demon hunter, fighting her wasn’t that different. Rather than fall for the trap of being crushed when she tried to attack the zombie directly, she opted to keep kicking to knock off loose rocks and methodically dismantle those formidable defenses.

Meta Galacta, having drilled out of the ground, holds out his shield, flying into the dragon's flames. With his lance, he unleashes another energy wave, causing it to explode between the warrior and the beasts. He then flies into the air, holding his lance up, causing electricity to surge from it. However, he senses the coming storm of meteorites, and moves away from the beasts. Meta Galacta flies around the battlefield, dodging the oncoming projectiles. He spins back to look at the two, and puts his lance up in the air again. This time he summons electricity with his lance, firing a barrage of lighting toward the king and the sorcerer.

"Hey! You're fight's with me!"

Meta Galacta stops, turning to see Meta Knight fling an energy wave of his own. Meta Galacta dodges the attack, and launches himself at Meta Knight, ramming into him, and knocking him down. The forced causing Meta Knight to drop Galaxia. Meta Galacta picks up his sword, looking at it with an almost familial gaze. He walks over to the downed Meta Knight, placing both weapons together as Galaxia's energy is sent into Meta Galacta's lance. It then starts to flow with powerful energy. Meta Galacta lifts the weapon over head, ready to get Meta Knight out of the way. He, however, leaves himself open to a powerful attack...​

The attacks exploding have caused Black Lantern's defenses to become completely destroyed. The boulder had been broken open like an egg. From it, Black Lantern grabbed onto the halves of the boulder, pulling herself from the darkness. Her body looked worse for ware, arms missing skin in places, and her cheeks have been split open. As she pushes herself upward, she let's out a loud screech, her jaw unhinging like a snake.

From inside the healing dome, Terra began to feel her pain slip away. She slowly stands, almost amazed how her head piercing headache began to vanish. She looks up the see Black Lantern trying to crawl out of the rock she intended to trap her in. ''Y-Yeah. I can walk. Not her though." With that said, Terra holds out her hands, and flexes her fingers. Her hands glow with a yellowish outline. With this, the rocks around Black Lantern smash into her waist, forcing her into place.

"You..Friggin.....PIGS!" Black Lantern yelled. "I'm going to slaughter you, and turn you into SAUSAGES! BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT PIGS ARE ONLY GOOD FOOOOOOOOOR!!!!!"

She holds out her left arm, the ring flickering with black light. From it, a large cloud began to form from it, and a mass of shapeless, eldritch horrors began to form. Terra watches as this new thing formed, as it slowly moved toward where her and Jack were. Black Lantern smiles evilly. "I think I'm going to enjoy watching my darkest desires eat you, Terra. You think you can change. You can't ever run from who we are. We are monsters. WE will ALWAYS be monsters!"

From the side, the knight had snuck around, holding his sword. He had the perfect opportunity to slice of the woman's hand and end this battle. He started running, broadsword in hand. With a leap from the the side, the knight held up his sword, and with a mighty swing, sliced Black Lantern's hand like a knight slaying a dragon. Black Lantern reels back, holding her hand as black ooze seeps from it. The knight grabs the ring, and runs to the bonfire.

Fugai's voice could be heard from the watches. "Lucia! Felix! HUNK! Finish her now!"​
