Now these are more like it. ApprovedName: John Connor
Origin: Terminator
*Age: 45
*Race: human
Gender: Male
Description: (Describe character, or add picture.)
Good version of : General John Connor, terminator salvation FB)
Personality:
At the very most, John is a strong but a quiet man. His life is rifled with holding the weight of the world and the human race on his shoulders. From the outside, he looks like a tough man who has seen a lot of shit. Not only does he have to consider all timelines against Skynet and what timeline Skynet hops to, he often worries about his death often and plans ahead.
John is a very private person and only shares his personal life with a select few people: These select people are his wife: Kate Connor, and a few other select folks he can trust with his life. When he is on the battlefield, he is a very silent man and often does not say much unless he needs to observe Skynet or any other threat.
John has tried to run from his destiny as being the leader of all humankind many times, frustrated and angry but every time he ran, a terminator (usually T-800) would get in his way and tell him to suck it up. He finally knew it was time to stop running and do what he needed to do to save the world no matter what the cost of it all.
With his family, and his wife, John is a very different person otherwise with those he can trust. With his close friends and wife, John is a very loving man showing emotions not otherwise shown to the public.
Otherwise, John is a very serious man not allowing anything to escape his grasp. At any cost, he will put men and women out there to stop Skynet from getting any farther. His weakness is that he is strictly a human and can be killed like any other human out there, by those kinds of means that a human can die.
Sometimes if you look harder, you may not notice John acts and thinks like a machine. Sometimes you must act like the enemy to observe the enemy's positions. On occasions, however, you might see the normally calm leader be a machine where he is not.
He will put himself in danger’s way, with his men and women so he can show that he is willing to do more than be in the back being protected. However, he is often shoved to the back by the unloyal remainders of the military all over the world. He refuses to let things get to him.
Powers and Abilities:
Weaknesses:
Bio: (Talk about character, and what happened before their universe was destroyed.)Several years into the war, John Connor has risen to leadership of his own squad of soldiers within the resistance known as TechCom and served under the direction of General Olsen, he was a member of a mission to infiltrate Skynet VLA in order to obtain classified data vital to the machines and to rescue the prisoners there, Connor would leave after having infiltrated the base to try to rescue several prisoners being taken by a Skynet transport, this would be his salvation as the base exploded moments after he left due to a Skynet booby trap. He got picked up a short time afterward and requested to be taken to Resistance Headquarters. After arrival, he was denied entry, but forced his way in. While in the headquarter, he met with General Ashdown and told him what he'd found and that Skynet was more advanced than they should be. Ashdown, who was familiar with Connor's history, told him that he didn't believe it for a second and that destiny could be changed in a second. He then revealed that the Resistance would be testing a new weapon against the machines designed to end the war. Connor volunteered for the mission to test it and soon learned that he was the second target on Skynet's hit list, Kyle Reese was the priority target. Concerned for his father's safety, Connor persevered and buried himself in his work including his nightly broadcasts to the survivors. He and his team captured a Hydrobot and confirmed that the weapon worked against Skynet. Not long afterward they would test it on a larger target.
Around the same time Connor noted increased Skynet activity and ordered his pilot, Blair Williams, to investigate. Days later Williams and a guest named Marcus Wright arrived at the base; however, Marcus wasn't what he seemed. Connor was called to a secured room inside the base where he saw a new kind of Terminator that neither he nor his mother had encountered previously, it was different to the T-800 as not only did it have living tissue like the T-800, but it also had organs, thinking itself was human. The Series 800 was just living tissue over metal endoskeleton without any organ and know itself is just a machine. It was also too early for a Series 800 let alone an even more advanced model, meaning that the process had somehow been sped up. Connor and Wright faced off talking about how he was a machine and that he was sent there to destroy. Connor eventually left to consider what to do next and prepared for the world wide assault on Skynet, but Williams was already working to release Wright from captivity.
Connor personally led the mission to recapture Wright. From a helicopter, Connor led the attack upon Wright. His pilot, nevertheless, miscalculated their position and got attacked by a series of Hydrobots. Connor was rescued by Marcus and the two came to an agreement — Wright would help them to infiltrate and rescue the captured Kyle Reese from Skynet Central. Connor agreed and let Marcus go. He urged General Ashdown to reconsider the attack, but the Resistance's leader would not agree and ordered Connor removed from command of his base. Instead, Connor made a final impassioned plea to his fellow Resistance leaders to halt the attack and turn against General Ashdown, so that he could rescue the prisoners. This led to Connor becoming the prophesied leader of the Resistance against Skynet. Not long after, he would capture and reprogram a Moto-Terminator to allow faster transport to San Francisco's Skynet Central.
Upon arrival at the ruin of the Golden Gate Bridge, Connor watched and waited for the agreed upon signal from Marcus. When the signal came — the location of Reese, Connor infiltrated the city and reprogrammed several of the lesser machines. He then accessed Skynet Central and begin his search for Kyle. He released the cages holding the human prisoners and, believing he found the teen, was attacked by a T-RIP. Connor was able to break away by blowing a hole into the floor of the facility which the machine fell through and continued after Kyle. He soon found him at an execution chamber, but there was no time to relax as the T-RIP was already coming.
fter several quick actions, the humans managed to reach a Terminator Factory beneath the base where they were able to build explosives utilizing the power cells of the Terminators under construction. Connor and Reese worked together to build explosives when the machine attacked Connor. Reese helped Connor by firing a rocket propelled grenade at the T-RIP and temporarily disabling it long enough for Connor to break free. They began to fight hand to hand and the machine was about to kill the leader of the Resistance when Marcus Wright engaged the Terminator in hand to hand combat to provide a diversion. The machine would make quick work of Marcus and continue after Connor, using the voice of Kyle Reese to distract him.
he machine was temporarily disabled by John Connor a short time afterward. Connor fired a grenade causing molten steel to cover the machine followed by a similar attack to a container of industrial coolant. Connor then proceeded to revive Marcus via CPR by pounding on his chest, which was unsuccessful, so he pulled two power cords from a nearby assembly robot arm, and used those as an Defibrillation on Marcus' chest. After Marcus was revived, the T-RIP broke free of the steel that was covering it, and impaled Connor in the heart. Immediately, Marcus knocked the machine's skull assembly off of the machine's body. With the machine destroyed Marcus turns his attention toward helping Connor up, who now acknowledges him as a friend. When the Resistance arrived, Connor and the rest of the group boarded the helicopter, which was flown straight to the main headquarters for immediate medical attention for Connor, as he detonates the building and everything around it while flying back. With Connor on the verge of death, Marcus tells everyone that he willingly wants to transplant his heart to Connor, which is successful. Later, Connor gives one more daily announcement telling everyone that the battle has been won, but the war is still on. It was implied that Connor had become the leader of the Resistance afterward. John ruminated over what prompted Marcus to give up his life for him at Marcus' burial site with Kate at his side, while the rest of the Resistance prepares for the final assault on Skynet.
Meanwhile, Dr. Serena Kogan was not all she appeared to be in the film. Before succumbing to her cancer, she received a transmission from the future (more specifically, her future self) that promised a cure for the cancer. She followed the instructions, using data from Skynet itself to experiment with the technology available to her at the dawn of the new millennium. By the time the three Terminators sent by Thomas Parnell arrive in the past, she is on death's door. They commandeer her research facility, ensuring that Marcus Wright's body remains in cryostasis and leaving a chamber empty for Parnell himself following his imminent execution. Dr. Kogan places herself in cryostasis and is released by Skynet in the future in a new body, much like the conversion technology they used to turn Marcus into a prototype infiltrator. Dr. Kogan assists Skynet in figuring out ways to combat the Resistance, and eventually activates Parnell as the ultimate Terminator: a machine with the bloodlust of a psychopathic serial killer.
Once John and his soldiers get wind of T-800s (under Parnell's control) committing mass slaughters with excessive bloody, physical violence unlike anything they've seen from machines before, they know something is very wrong.
Realizing that Parnell will eventually subsume Skynet and destroy the world if not checked and controlled, Skynet resurrects Marcus and sends him to John in the hopes of allying with its mortal enemy with the end goal of preserving itself. John suspects a trap when Marcus delivers the message, but Marcus manages to convince him of its authenticity. After that, they obtain Dr. Kogan from the storage cell Parnell tossed her into and plan their next move.
With Dr. Kogan and Marcus' help, John is escorted into the heart of Skynet itself by a handful of the remaining T-800s under its control. Dr. Kogan assists in syncing John's neural processes with an even newer prototype endoskeleton in order to confront Parnell. During the ensuing battle, Parnell sends one of his own T-850s into the lab and instructs it to kill John. It succeeds in putting a bullet through John's skull at point blank range, but after the prototype endoskeleton falls and Parnell gloats over his victory, the neural link between John's body and the endoskeleton loops back and his mind is preserved in the endoskeleton.
John destroys Parnell and bargains with Skynet to end the war. He offers a chance for both humanity and Skynet to work together to create peace, since Skynet has been operating without a true purpose since it gained sentience and humanity lacks the power and resources Skynet has at its fingertips. Skynet agrees to the terms, thus ending the war.
Powers and Abilities: Survivalist (Knows outdoors and living outside the grid for long periods of times),
Knows a lot about technology. Hacking, timelines and reprogramming Terminators and weapons.Military training, etccc... Marksman.
Weaknesses: Only human. Holds a important role in his world.
Yep.So bardocks also approved?
While I have recently closed the RP (save for waiting on a few guys) I will allow your character in on the account that 1.) He fits the theme and 2.) I slightly predicted someone was going to include a good version of Jason. (Albeit, something like camp counselor Jason) Approved
Name:
Jason "Jesse" Robertson
Origin:
Friday the 13th (film series)
Role:
Agent
Good Version Of:
Jason Voorhees
Age:
34 (Biologically) | 75 (Chronologically)
Race:
Human
Gender:
Male
Description:
Jesse looks almost exactly like Jason, standing at 6'5" and possessing a large, powerful build, but he lacks the physical deformities that Jason had. As a result, Jesse is rather good looking behind his hockey mask, with strong, chiselled features and a full head of dark hair. He has grown his hair extremely long, to the point now that it reaches past his shoulders and down towards the middle of his back.
Personality:
Jesse is a far more well adjusted individual than Jason thanks to the lack of mental disabilities/physical deformities that plagued him before his rebirth and the love and care shown to him by Renee and Sean. His memories of his time as Jason are hazy but, like him, Jesse is a man of few words and is rather introverted. He also cares deeply for those closest to him and despite making it his mission to become the Killer of Killers, Jesse, in truth, doesn't really enjoy killing.
Powers, and Abilities:
Like Jason, before he was resurrected as a revenant zombie, Jesse possesses certain superhuman abilities:
Weaknesses:
Superhuman Strength: Jesse has incredible physical strength. He is capable of crushing a man's skull with his bare hands and smashing through walls. When Jesse is angered, his strength increases drastically. Superhuman Durability: Jesse has an extremely high pain tolerance and is almost impossible to kill. It is said that he can only truly be killed by those who share the same bloodline otherwise he simply will return to life after a short period of time. Stealth: Jesse has the uncanny ability to avoid detection. He can easily slip in and out of areas undetected before reappearing again, seemingly out of nowhere. Weapons Proficiency: Jesse can use anything at his disposal as a weapon. Intimidation: Due to his overwhelming presence and reputation; Jesse can induce fear into almost anyone. This can cause his opponents to become desperate in their attempts to escape/defeat him, make mistakes for him to take advantage of, and even cause them to be clumsy when scared.
Bio:
Hydrophobia: Jesse isn't a strong swimmer and as a result suffers from a severe case of hydrophobia.
Jesse's history mirrors that of his mainstream counterpart up until the events of Jason takes Manhattan in 1998. After chasing Renee Michelle Wickham and her boyfriend Sean Robertson through the city's sewers and being engulfed by the wave of toxic sludge, by some strange miracle, Jason was reverted to an 11 year old boy. Influenced by Renee's powers of empathy, rather than leave him there, the young couple decided to take Jason in and look after him.
Following his rebirth, Jason had little recollection of his time as a serial killer, so to symbolise the fresh start he had been given and better leave his past behind, Renee and Sean starting calling him Jesse. Renee and Sean eventually got married and legally adopted Jesse and they all lived happily together. That was until Friday June 13th 2009 when an alternate reality Jason turned up on their doorstep and brutally slaughtered both Renee and Sean. Jesse and Jason fought, destroying much of the house in the process, before Jesse managed to get the upper hand and kill Jason with his own machete. The incident awoke something dark in Jesse and taking the hockey mask from Jason, he made it his mission to become a Killer of Killers. It was at some point after that, Jesse was enlisted into the UCA where he continues his mission to rid the multiverse of killers.
I suppose I didn't make it clear enough to everyone that the RP was closed, assuming you didn't see the recruitment page. BUT, I will admit, your character choice practically saved you from rejection. Not only because I'm intrigued at the idea of Beerus of all people involved with this, and what kind of interaction he'll have with the others, but the fact that I'm kind of glad someone else wanted to be an administrator other than me. You got lucky. ApprovedView attachment 934457
Name: Beerus
Quote: "My job as an administrator? How boring..."
Origin: Dragon Ball
Role: Administrator
*Age: At least 200,000,000 years (Yep, he's insanely old for his age)
Gender: Male
Personality: Beerus is powerful yet lazy and playful. He favors long sleep sessions and the way he grooms himself, similar to what a cat does. When awake, Beerus tends to be in a bad mood from his deep slumber but becomes less grumpy the more awake he is. Unless provoked, he will threaten to destroy whatever planet he is on if necessary as the means to get what he wants or as a warning. And finally, Beerus is a gourmet, a lover of foods in general.
Powers, and Abilities: This. And this.
Weaknesses: As mentioned before, Beerus's laziness and playfulness result from his personality, making it his only weaknesses. Also, he can sometimes be fascinated by foods, giving him distractions. However, his shortcomings don't bother him as much, so it depends on the given situation.
Bio: In the Dragon Ball universe, Beerus was trying to take a long nap when he was suddenly met by an unfamiliar face from the other universe. Angered, he threatened to kill the stranger for interrupting his sleep and breaking into his home without his permission, but Whis, his Guide Angel Attendant and martial arts teacher, managed to calm him down to hear what said stranger had to say, which he reluctantly did. The stranger explained that the UCA needed a vacant administrator to join in the cause against an unknown threat and urged Beerus to consider doing so.
Confused but accepting, Whis advised Beerus to consider taking part in whatever threat was occurring no matter where it came from. And with that being said, he reluctantly accepted as there was no other choice for him. Pleased but concerned, the stranger encouraged Whis not to accompany Beerus as he was meant to go on the mission alone or with new people. Worried but affirmative, he agreed.
However, Whis implored the stranger to keep a close eye on Beerus if something were to go horribly wrong. The stranger understood the prompt and said that he would keep it in mind. By and by, Beerus followed the stranger into a blue portal as he left Whis behind, beginning an unusual story for him.
Thank you very much. I'm very honored to be a part of this position. I didn't know the RP had been closed, so sorry about that.I suppose I didn't make it clear enough to everyone that the RP was closed, assuming you didn't see the recruitment page. That's fine, it's an oopsie on my part. Welcome aboard.Thank you very much. I'm very honored to be a part of this position. I didn't know the RP had been closed, so sorry about that.
Ooooo, X-Men, I like it. Approved
Name: Ororo Munroe, “Storm”
Origin: X-Men
Role: Ally
Age: 30’s
Race: Mutant
Gender: Female
Description:
Storm inherits unusual white hair and blue eyes, despite her African heritage. Her eyes turn pure white and seem to crackle with electricity when channeling her powers.
Personality:
Disciplined and responsible, Storm focuses on being a teacher and leader. She strongly emphasizes teamwork and self-control. She has claustrophobia from a traumatic incident in her youth. She is also averse to killing, preferring to merely subdue her enemy.
Powers and Abilities:
Weaknesses:
- Martial Arts - Storm was trained in hand-to-hand combat by her ally Wolverine. She can fight against other well-trained combatants such as Mystique. She can also use a bo staff with skill.
- Weather Manipulation - Storm’s mutant power allows her to psionically control the weather, giving her the potential to spawn lightning, precipitation, cloud cover, and powerful winds. She can also hover and fly. Her powers work on both larger and smaller scales.
Storm is claustrophobic; squeezing her into a tight, stuffy, dark space will cause her to panic immediately.
Bio:
Storm was born to a line of priestesses from Kenya. While staying in Egypt, her parents were killed in a terrorist attack that left her pinned in the rubble for a few hours. She was taken in by a thief and lived a life of crime before returning to Kenya, where the people revered her as a goddess incarnate due to her awakening powers. Charles Xavier visited her, hoping to gain her cooperation in rescuing his original team of X-Men from the sentient island Krakoa. She became a mainstay of the X-Men, leader of the Gold Team, and a teacher at Xavier’s school.
As an ally of the UCA, Storm had the opportunity to use her abilities on a whole new scale, while still staying true to her responsibilities as an X-Man. She is considered an emergency reserve member, only brought in during the most severe situations.
Name: Talim
Origin: Soul Calibur
Role: Agent
*Age: 15
*Race: Human
Gender: Female
Description:
Talim's young frame and tribal accessories has produced a unique, pure fullness to the Soul character roster — which was fully intended. The youthful priestess was initially created to add variety to the current selection of fighters, a selfless, young girl — something that the creators felt that the series lacked. Her signature Elbow Blades, and the features listed above, are Talim's most iconic traits in the means of character design and have stayed with her throughout the entire series.
Personality:
Talim is strikingly meek, innocent, kind, moderate, and nice in contrast to the rest of the Soul Series cast, often attempting to dissuade opponents from fighting, and constantly showing mercy to her defeated enemies. Her comments often reveal self-doubt and worry. She often does not blame others for their actions, as shown in her SCIV ending where she forgives Algol for his actions, and sometimes will resurrect dead characters who were close to certain other characters, as shown in the same ending where she resurrects Algol's son, Arcturus. She has an ability to read the wind, often taking advice from it, as well as asking the wind to guide her in her journey. Overall, she is a kind-hearted character, and thus is aligned with good characters.
Powers, and Abilities:
Talim has high skill in combat with her dual elbow blades. She possess a pure heart, and as such is apparently capable of purifying others. Being a priestess of the winds, she is capable of swaying the wind, using at in her fighting style and also being able to sense winds - using it for guidance. She can also summon a small tornado around herself, or around her opponent to send them flying. She was also able to make Arcturus appear before Algol, but it is unknown whether she resurrected him, made an illusion of him appear, or summoned his spirit.
Weaknesses:
Talim is fast and quick, but she lacks any kind of defense and no armor. Her range is also limited, as her tonfas onlycover a small area around her. Talim is also young and relatively inexperienced with social events.
Bio:
The West’s attempt at colonizing the islands of Southeast Asia brought with it conflict. In the mountainous region of one particular island was a small village called the Village of the Wind Deity. Talim was born into the family of a shaman, and was raised as the Last Priestess of the Winds in accordance with their family’s beliefs. One day, a foreigner brought to the village a fragment of metal—a fragment of Soul Edge itself. Talim immediately sensed how dangerous it was and vowed to return the shard to where it belonged. However, her fellow villagers were against her decision, because it would result in the Last Priestess of the Winds losing her innocence. As such, Talim felt she had to prove herself to those around her.
The idyllic lifestyle of the Village of the Wind Deity was threatened by a fragment of the bearer of bad fortune, Soul Edge. The villagers were more puzzled than scared, however, threatened as they were more by the influence of the West. In an increasingly tumultuous world, Talim was still able to perform her duties well, and proved herself capable of carving her own path as the Last Priestess of the Winds. She promised her grandmother, Kalana, known as the Eldest One, that they would meet again, and left her island on a journey. The wind travels the world, and wherever Talim went, its gentle caress would soothe her soul.
Well, being that just about everyone is reenacting Dynasty Warriors at the moment, you can either just throw her in to fight the hoard of enemies, try to catch this knight who's hiding in the woods from an evil Sonic The Hedgehog, or you can have her enter the U.C.A watchtower where three administrators are watching all this crazy nonsense go down.Great. Where do I start?
AlrightyWatchtower it is.
No, just the OOC chat.Do you have a Discord?
I'm not sure, I dunno if everyone else has a discord or not. If they do, then we will see.Oh. Are you going to make one? It would help keep track of who is active and allow us to interact better with each other.
