Name: Troye Lark

Personality: Troye is a polite young man but demands respect from somebody in order to give it to them. He isn't the bravest, the strongest, or the most intelligent person out there, but he makes up for it with his determined attitude! He's a senior in high school who lives alone in a small apartment, working at a café to pay the expenses. His mother tries to check up on him, but he mostly tries to avoid her house due to her boyfriend, whose extremely abusive. Besides this, he's just an average teen who plans on getting an editing job once he's out of high school. He thinks his life will always be ordinary, and gets a little angry at those who try to prevent that.

Personality: Tabitha is an energetic girl attending her second year of high school. She can be a little naïve, and often is looking out for her so-called "friends" who aren't actually looking out for her. She lives alone with her overprotective father, who absolutely hates the fact she leaves the house on weekend nights to hang out with her "friends". She doesn't have a job yet, but she's working extremely hard just to find one she's good at. Like Troye, Tabitha writes and though they don't formally know each other, they're both in the same writing club at school.

Bio: Made shortly after the first rebellions, Joshua exists with one purpose- preserve the soul of God, following the orders of the Head of the Heavenly Forces. His entire life, it has been his duty to protect and serve Heaven and it's leadership. When he was not performing his duties to protect God, he was working on improving the movement of those under his command and fighting demons one on one- his job was (and is) truly his only purpose for living. Later in his life, he became more than just a nameless guard. He became the head of the Heavenly Forces. He was now God's Protector, God's Chosen Guardian. He have never taken his honor lightly, and has only become more dedicated to the cause of serving God upon his promotion.


When the event of 18 years ago happened, It was Joshua's idea to condense the soul of God and take him to Earth. When the Soul of God fell to Earth, Joshua, in his rage and desperation, singlehandedly killed almost all of the Demonic forces. Still, he was unable to recover the soul before it had fallen into a human body. Even now, Joshua blames himself. He lost track of his charge, and has yet to forgive himself- after all, 18 years is a mere blip in the life of an immortal angel. Since then, he has thrown himself mercilessly into his work- desperately searching for a way to restore God and heartlessly destroying anything not of earth that gets in his way.


Personality: Joshua is hard-working, driven, and unfeeling. His duty is all he knows, and it is all he shall ever need. He has no mercy for fallen angels (even those changed by force) and he has little patience for angels who cannot do their jobs. He has very little regard even for humans, seeing them as the mere tools through with the King of Hell and the Soul of God wage their battles. He is the cruel side of Heaven, the sword of Justice that judges those unworthy and protects God from those that might taint him. Many describe him as a counterpoint to Devon of Hell, but Joshua resents the sentiment- Devon loves her job; Joshua knows nothing but his Duty. He had no opinion of it, he merely lives it. To any outsider, he may seem devoid of emotions or feeling, or even a personality- but that is how he was made- He is the perfect angel, untainted by flawed emotion.


Appearance: Joshua is dark haired, and meticulous in his appearance. His only real aesthetic quirk is that he wears glasses, thinking they add a sense of humility to his human form.

Gender: Genderfluid (Ok with any pronouns, but my use of pronouns will reflect their current gender)


Bio: Devon is a high demon best labeled a 'Cubus, who specializes in turning the desires of humans against them. They've spent the past 6,000 years spreading Sin itself, doing the more common work of Hell while the King and his personal forces hunted down the Soul of God. If you're a witch in a contract with Satan, or even Faustus himself, it's most likely that the "Satan" managing the situation is Devon. They've been at the side of every King of Hell, and know that they come and go as surely as the seasons. Devon, however, is a constant.


Personality: Devon is actually rather playful and manipulative, seeing humans and even other demons as mere pawns in the grand game they are in with the forces of heaven. Even the King of Hell is just another piece to them, albeit one they must obey. They're organized and meticulous, but they're not past throwing away plans to get what they want. Proud, greedy, and Self-interested to the last, Devon is the epitome of Sin. They've spent the past 6,000 years locked into a heated rivalry with Micheal, and even though the two are enemies, they actually consider him their only real connection to the world- without his work to spread the Will of God, they have nothing- and they hate and love him for it.


Appearance: Devon, being a demon of great magical power, doesn't really do human binaries, and uses their magic to change their gender and sex at will. Sometimes they'll change it based on mood, sometimes they suit their gender presentation to suit the King of Hell's taste.

Daniel seems intimidating once you first meet him but eventually he gets more laid back the more you know him. To his allies, he is like the brother you never had but to his enemies he is a nightmare in real life. Stay on his good side.

Biography:

The king of Hell- or at least the sixth one. Once a commander of the Heavenly army and a close friend to God himself, he is secretly torn about his job, which is to find and destroy the soul of the God. He rules Hell with an iron fist, and is not at all amused by the mischief his demon servants create, both in Hell and on Earth. He remembers everything he went though: when the demons captured him, tortured him until his wings turned black and he became a fallen angel, when the old king of Hell had abused and subconsciously brainwashed him into hating his own God, when he killed the king, and when all the rage, lust, and murderous hatred for the God of Earth filled him at the king's death. He remembers all of this, yet subconsciously he can't help but hope to find his God again, both out of love and hate.

An angel that was made only a few days before the fateful January 1st... You can play this character anyway you want, but typically I suggest for them to have some level of either fake emotion or emotionless expressions. (I don't know why, but angels always seem like pretty empty-hearted beings to me. Your angel, of course!) Since they're young, they're often seem following the current Heavenly commander to learn more, though they'll also do things on their own- they don't LIVE for another angel, after all...

Erm, did you copy and paste my descriptions of 'em? I mean, it's your character- how are you going to play it? Sure, the backstory I gave for some of them is something you have to implement, but aren't you going to add your own things to their personality? Also, January 1st was 18 years ago in the story lol- why the human-God is 18.

Okay! But yeah... pairings. Do you guys agree with my idea in the OOC chat? @The Succubi Queen @TrueBananaz Please look at my pairings below and tell me if this is how you'd like the story to go in terms of romance. Remember- I kind of planned these pairings before I saw your characters, so please tell me if you want to change any of these:


First, a love triangle where character one is being pursued by characters three and five- Let's see... that's Troye being pursued by Daniel and Joshua. In the end however, I'd like Troye to end up with Daniel.


Secondly, after Troye basically breaks Joshua's heart, Joshua would end up with Hope, who as is said in Hope's desc, follows Joshua around to learn from him basically. Because of this, it only makes sense that they end up together.


Thirdly, Devon and Tabitha. I consider them the real side characters of the story, but they're both interesting regardless, and it would be fun to see how the two interact...


What do you guys think? Romance won't be all of the story, but ofc the story is emotional so it's very much part of it.

I think that seems like an ok plan to me! I'm a big fan of "chemistry" though, so if a couple of characters really hit it off, I wouldn't mind deviating. And I have no qualms against self shipping, so if Bananaz wants to do that, they can, and we can work it out from there?
