Unfollow Specific Status Update

I think it would be nice to have the option to unfollow a specific status update.  Sometimes the conversations on a profile update can be lengthy, and when the content no longer pertains to you, it can be slightly annoying to receive the 20+ notifications that 'so-and-so replied to a status update'.

This... I agree, sometimes I post a message on an update and then some people decide to have a full-blown conversation...


Once there was a status that ended up giving me 100+ notifications

I agree, they do make for a too-long notification list.  It would help if we could find a way to have it only give one alert for all those unread status update replies, the way it does for threads.
