Unexpected.
People all over the place had heard about a winning ticket that can give them a free trip to an island for a month. "A dream stay!", some would say. Upon winning the ticket, the winners would bring it to the store they bought it from and receive a secret phone number to call. Once called, they would be told a date on which they would need to go to a certain airport, and a private jet would pick the winners up and take them to said island.
But it wasn't all a dream. No, more of a nightmare of a trip.
The plane had poisoned the winners with gas and dropped them onto an abandoned island. They were then told by a drone with a hologram that they needed to survive a month on the island, and find their own resources to survive. Then they would win money and go to the island promised.
But would they survive? Every night they would feel watched. There were howls and eyes glowing from the darkness within the trees.
Through it all, there was a creature, like no other, who would assist the survivors. (my character)
