Undo the undo?

Is there some way I can "redo" things I've undone with ctrl-Z? It's happened before that I'll hit ctrl-Z to undo a typo or a misplaced cut-and-paste, and sometimes it will work exactly as I need it to. Other times, the typo or pasted item will be undone, and so will multiple paragraphs of recently-typed text.

I can't ctrl-Y them back into existence, and I find it very frustrating to lose an hour's worth of work because I used a shortcut. Is there any way I can fix this, or do I just stop using ctrl-Z on here?

No, unfortunately CTRL+Z seems glitched for some people, sometimes.  There doesn't seem to be a way to bring it back.  We haven't tracked down why, yet, sorry!

Some have suggested typing up longer posts in another program and copy/pasting them when you're done.

Thank you. I've switched to a word processor to copy-paste later.

Ctrl-y is usually the answer

I haven't exactly been able to test this myself since I use a Mac, which has different commands, but none of the "redo" functions seem to actually work.  I believe this is what Kaerri had been referring to within her response.  Correct me if I am wrong.

The way RPN currently has things coded doesn't look like it has infrastructure for rolling back undo's at first glance
