Flowey smiled, as his plan worked. And after Undyne closed the door in front of him, he burrowed underground and unburrowed near the Snowdin area, somewhat behind Frisk. He was observing them, stalking even. What a stupid, gullible child. Flowey was already beginning his plan to halt their progress. The flower decided not to tire himself mentally with pointless fighting, as even killing Frisk wouldn't profit him in any way; as Frisk would simply reset and Flowey would remember it. He stood in the shadows, near the trees, far away; but close enough to observe and stalk his victim.

Undyne, now fully armored, summoned a magic spear to hold in her right hand.


"that humans going DOWN" she shouted into the underground, as she started running to snowdin.

Frisk got the sense of being watched so she turned around, but saw nothing. She got frustrated and upset. She was tired so she sat in the snow, idly playing with some of it. "Are we almost there...?" She mumbled to herself, hoping Chara would hear and answer.

It had been so long since they were asked.


It held a double meaning for them. Asriel, poor Asriel could never wait for anything. This surge of emotion caught them off-guard, "Heh, we're almost there. Just hang in there, alright?"


Memories of those same words... Over and over. "Just hang in there, alright?" How did they remain so calm back then? With everything that had happened to them and Asriel, how did they stay strong?


Chara shook it off, they have to stay strong, after all this time. For Asriel... Wherever he may be.

Frisk nodded. "Alright..." She held her knees close to her chest. "Am I gonna die soon...? I sure don't want to..." She looked around slowly and scaredly, making sure nobody else was there. She didn't want to fight, but Frisk had a feeling that eventually, she'll have to and mercy would definitely get her killed. She was not looking forward to that.

"Heh, of course not," Chara reassured, "There's no one I know who can hurt you up ahead for some time."


This was completely true, Chara had never met Sans of Papyrus, as they weren't around when the Dreemurr adopted Chara. However, both of the skeletons seemed at least semi-dangerous, but no need to mention that little technicality.

Sleeping on the job was also a habit he happened to get into a lot. This doesn't necessarily mean he was doing that right now per se... (yes it does)


Of course it doesn't, because Sans just woke up! Well, to Papyrus's unbridled rage, of course. It wasn't his fault the union required him,to sleep on the job, he just had that many jobs, "How has life been treating you, dear brother?" Sans spoke almost poetically.

"Is there anyone even here? I haven't seen anyone. Is that a good thing or bad thing?" Frisk rambled on with her questions. She was scared and it was obvious. But who wouldn't be? Any young child would be so worried and frightened if they were alone in a place where everyone seemed to want your soul.

"There are two hooligans just around the corner, harmless skeletons" Chara was beginning to grow on Frisk, however much they denied the fact, "from the looks of it one of them is sleeping." Chara tried their hardest to peer around the corner, to get a better look at the skeletons.

Frisk tried to look, too, but she also tried to stay hidden. "Can you hear what they're saying?" She asked curiously. Though she didn't want to know what they were saying before because she thought it was wrong, she felt it was okay since Chara was doing it.

"Well, of course, your Majesty!" Chara chuckled as they listened closely to the exchange, "One of them stormed off, and the other one is talking to themself."


SANS


"Oh? Huh. He's not here yet." Sans looked back and fourth, checking for humans as always, before resting his head back on the outpost stall. He quickly falls back into a deep sleep.

Then quickly shoots back up! What awoke him the first time? It must be of utmost importance if he thought it was his enraged brother... "Come out, come out wherever you are! Or not, I don't mind." He half-shouted, half-spoke out into the snowy void.

Frisk sighed. "Should we be seen? Or should we still hide? Because you said that they're harmless. So it shouldn't be bad, I guess." She shrugged. Frisk was mentally thinking about she should do and what the outcomes could be.

Frisk got up from the snow, shivered, and wiped off the snow on herself. She felt as she needed to be seen and known, regardless of any previous warnings. She thought that maybe if everyone knew her and saw that she didn't mean any harm, then they might not kill her. Gathering all her courage and being filled with determination, Frisk no longer hid. When she walked over to Sans, she smiled. "Hi! I'm Frisk! I fell here a little bit ago and just came out from the Ruins. Where am I now?" She asked.

But what frisk didn't notice,was that an white litte dog where following her!It stood behind her and hopped he whold get noticed later...

Frisk heard something and saw the dog. She squealed with delight and pet the dog. Even though she's allergic to them, she still loved to play with them. "Aw, you're adorable!" She continued to pet the dog.

The dog seems to like frist!He will be Frisks Pet an protect her!

"Awwwwwwww! Imma keep you forever!" She picked the dog up and held it in her arms, turning back to Sans. She wanted to keep the dog. She didn't know what it meant to be allergic to dogs, so Frisk still held it and pet it.

Frisk wondered what the dog's name was. And she wondered why there were dogs underground. They look similar to the ones on the surface. Carelessly and forgetting her thoughts, she put the dog down next to her. "Stay, dog!"

Undyne kept knocking, until she decided that he wasn't going to answer...so she took out a phone she had borrowed from alphys, and called Papyrus "ohhh, pick up nerd"

"Well hello there, Fuh-risk," Sans mocked the human, as they discovered the annoying dog, "Aw, throw me a bone here, pal. You should know by now that I'm no dog whisperer."


Sans's eye lights disappear, "I've been on the hunt for humans, actually, mind if I snatch you up for Undyne?"

Undyne, finally giving up on calling Papyrs, decided to call sans instead.

"Yes I do mind! I don't want to die!" Frisk said upset. She picked up her new dog and held it close to her, sneezing and coughing childishly when The dog was by her. "I won't let you take me away! Unless I won't die! Then, you can if you want."

Sans looked the human straight in the eye, and burst out in laughter, "Hahahah, did you really believe a lazybones like me could capture you? I couldn't do it if you wanted me to!" Sans got up from his outpost stand, and presented his hand, "You know how to greet a new pal? Shake my hand, kiddo."
