Hey! Thought I'd finally introduce myself. I'm new to the site. I first started roleplaying on Iwaku, but left due to some rude people =/ I've been stalking a few forums on here to see what the atmosphere is like, and so far RPN seems pretty chill and lively - definitely welcoming!


I roleplay any genre, but my fandoms are a little limited. I love playing any character, all genders, and my favorite challenge is roleplaying a GM-made character sheet and seeing what kind of personality I can get to emerge from it.


My writing style falls somewhere between casual and detailed, but the word "detailed" intimidates me, so I'll probably stick to RPs labeled Casual. Mistakes in writing don't hurt a roleplay in my eyes, but pointing them out sure do! I just ask everyone to be gentle with me. I'm a sensitive wuss. =D
 
Seems like you already have a feel for the place, so I guess I will just have to be happy with being the first to welcome you.

Most people here are absolutely lovely, as you already guessed, so no need to worry about people being gentle ;)


Plus it's always a pleasure to welcome a lurker to the daylight of being a registered User, glad we coaxed you into joining the ranks xD

You got to find the right people (or person) to role play with otherwise it is not fun. But everyone here is so nice and welcoming.

I was scared of detailed role plays when i first even knew what it was, but recently I started to try and break that casual vibe and it turned out great. Considering a friend I role play with constantly like to make really detailed paragraph's.

Sorry, I wasn't sure how to word it. =[ My intro to RP was through playing DnD on the weekends a while back. The DM started making up character sheets with the race and stats already made up, then set them on the table face-down and had us pick one each. I think he did it because we kept making the same characters over and over xD


Anywho, I went from playing the same personality every campaign, to roleplaying every race, both genders, and many different personalities. I hope to find something similar here on this site!

Well I love creating character sheets, and I have been playing DnD with my cousin for a long time. I can see why your DM did that. xD All I can say is if you'd like there is a dice section for you to look at for some DnD related RP's.


This might be a little soon since you are new, but would you like to possibly role play?

Aw, but I only need one more post. ;) Sorry @DeLyse , but it had to be done. Lokipi, I am going to do a pretty relaxed 5e D&D game, so check the forum interest check area for Dice if you're intrigued.
 
I'm glad that you decided to make an intro post. It's terribly difficult to welcome people when they don't. So, welcome! *showers you with confetti*
