Just a girl, trying to find her way.♡☆
So, with warm weather officially here I have maybe a little too much time on my hands. (Lol, like the warm weather actually made a difference.) Anyway! I have a plot idea in mind!!!
Wanna read it? Look below.
As usual my plots are revolting; revolving around two people who shouldn't be together. Usually a naive girl whose trying to tell herself and the world the way she feels is okay. Yet...in reality the man, the boy whatever you prefer to call him might actually just be using her as an emotional crutch. Until maybe he falls for her officially when it's too late.
Anywhoo, here we go!!
# 1July, 1940.**
A small town on the outside of New England waits for the fair/carnival to come through every year.
With slavery being over yet segregation still raging on in most of the world seeing anyone other than a white person running a ride, handing your child thier tickets or doing anything that doesn't involve farm work is very, very unheard of.
Yet this fair, has recruited a wandering family. Two young men and a sister and their parents.
While on a yearly trip to visit the carnival, a young white girl catches the eye of a teenager. Yet he's not white, and thier love will be considered a travesty.
#2 Her parents had told her, traveling the world with the fair would be what set her family apart from everyone else who had to wait in line for the drinking fountain, or who had to go to an all black school. Her parents have been very wrong. These people, they stare, stare at her like she has a disease like she's going to poison thier beloved children. It gets even worse she bumps right into a man whose eyes she can't get out of her mind, a man at least ten years older than her. A man whose a father, a husband to a very white woman who could very well send her whole family back to where they came from.
So there's two plots. You tell me which one you'd like to do. I'd like to write as the female in either story.
I'm looking for romance, drama, fear, long paragraphs and a character I wish I could actually befriend.
So if maybe you'd like to write. Send me something wouldya!?
