Twitter links

So I'm thinking about connecting my RPN account with my twitter account.


But I'm also using that account to promote my occasional YouTube videos and live streams and I'm afraid that it might cause a problem if twitter ends up pushing those promotions into my RPN status updates.


So yeah, I'm pretty much asking how the policy on posting yt and twitch links in status updates is.

I don't think Twitter can make any posts here, status updates or otherwise.  We have a lot of users who connect them and I've never seen anything that looked like that?


Policy-wise, it would probably fall under the Advertisements section of the rules if you were to be actively promoting your YouTube channel and livestream.  (As in, don't, unless you have admin permission.  )  An occasional link to a video is probably fine; lots of people post YouTube videos after all.  Just be sure nothing in what you link is against our rules and you should be good.

When you associate your Twitter account with RpNation, it does not link your status updates.  It simply allows you to log in with your Twitter information.  The same is said for Facebook and Google+ association.
