Personality and Background: Misaki was brought up in a rich Japanese family. She was always dominated and bossed around. With time she grew lonely and started hating the pompous lifestyle that her parents led and also hated the fake love they showered upon her. Soon Misaki started to embrace the darkness and developed ill feelings. She was bullied at school for being way too rich and was tagged as arrogant. She was sick of fake flatterers too. Then one day when she was being bullied she attacked a guy and accidentally killed. Thats when she found salvation and peace and thus, the story of Misaki the Shinigami begins. She is usually sweet and and attractive but one wrong move on your part and she will be holding her blades against your throat.

Reason for Mental Illness: Daniel's mother had always been a single mother. She was tough on Daniel; very tough. Grades were meant to be kept going & friends were kept away. The viewpoint that Daniel's mother wanted him to see was grades meant a much more excellent future for him. The pressure was unbearable. See, Daniel's mother was different from any other; she collected dolls. Porcelain dolls, sewn dolls... the list was endless. Anything she saw that was related to a small child-like figurine was bought & hoarded at their home. Being subjected to these dolls seemed to affect Daniel in numerous ways. For one, he was fascinated by their looks... he also loved their designs. It came to a point in which he wanted to be one. He began taking the dolls' dresses and sowed them all together to create one dress. He wore it at home. But of course, he wore it when he knew he had time to be alone. He thought he looked pretty & elegant just like those porcelain little beings. It wasn't very long until he found his mother's make-up & began to put it on in a doll-like design.


One day, Daniel brought home a C-. His mother didn't very much so like this grade. The outcome of the low score was a beat down that Daniel would never be able to forget.


The outcome of the beat down was the price of Daniel's mother. He tied her up & put her in the basement without light. Every now and then, he'd return to her and try to intimidate her with his doll-like looks. He scared her a numerous amount of times by throwing her own dolls at her to then watch them shatter on the floor. He'd sit in the corner like a frozen doll for long amounts of time... and then suddenly spring up and use a clay shard to cut his mother.


She bled out.


Just like the rest of Raggedy Dan's 5 other victims.
