she looked up at him again for a while before sighing as her wings wrapped slightly tighter around her as she laid down  closing her eyes

Kai watched and protected her as she fell asleep

the night went by slowly, near them middle of the night some demons can be seen outside the cave but they seem more interested in the heaven side trees and how to get over them

Kai smirked and chuckled

as the morning sun rose the demons left yet again to find a way over.

Kai watched them leave and sighed

Ruby woke up, slowly sitting up as she looked at her halo and the halo started to float in her hand again and she slowly placed it on her head

Kai looked at her "morning angel"

Ruby turned over to him, waving st him lightly with a slight smile

"How are you feeling?"

"why would a demon ask an angel that " she thought to herself as she lightly place her hand on the burn wound around her neck area "i'm fine..... i guess.... how.... about you" she said taking her hand of the wound

Kai nodded in response "you should hurry back to your side of the trees"

she nodded as she stood up and walked out of the cave "tha.... thanks for.... keeping me alive "she said opening her wings to take off

"Your welcome angel"

she gave him a smile before taking off into the sky


"tsk tsk tsk kia you better have a plan for this cus i don't think i can come up with a lie big enough for you this time if the Demon Lord asks " kia's friend said coming out of the shadows of the cave

"He's not going to ask about it" Kai said as he looked at his friend "he's too busy with his own kids to pay attention to the rest of us"

"so what do ya plan to do now , you can't stay here, your demonic life force will drain" he said walking over to the entrance

"I don't know" Kai followed him and they go back to the training grounds on the demon side "maybe I will try and forget that angel and find a girl on our side to be with but that won't happen"

"well demonesses are kind of... " he stayed quiet looking for the word

Ruby arrived at her tower as she landed in her room as she went to her bathroom to look at the wound

"I know what you mean" Kai said as he watched some demons train 


Alice saw her and went over to her "ruby what happened to you!?"

"listen Kia how about ya leave the training to your good friend Zike and take a break at the tavern after all even a demon general needs a reat or two"


"oh hey Alice, um its nothing... wait why are you in my tower " she said with a slight smile and walking closer to her

Alice sighed "you didn't come home last night and I was worried about you"
