Kai walked to his side again

she looked at the top of the high trees for an hour before standing up and looking, spotting a cave near her side as she walked towards it before looking to hell's side and sees the trees are more open so that any demon can pass through "heaven have mercy on me "she said before walking into the smallish cave and laying down in the back trying to stay as far away from the entrance as possible

Kai saw this and sat outside the cave on his land

she laid on her back in the cave with her wings around her for warmth waiting for night and the cave to be purged of any light

Kai got up, gathered branches, and walked into the cave to where she is

she heard someone enter her cave as she quickly , standing up and standing against the back of the cave

Kai put the branches in a pile and set them on fire "Angel I know your hiding"

she came out slightly, looking at him she kept her halo close  to  her

Kai sat in front of the fire and looked at the flames

Ruby stayed where she was still not completely trusting the demon

Kai watched her through the flames

Ruby looked at the flames keeping her distance

"You can come closer"

Ruby looked up at him and shaked her head "no... it's ok... my wings keep me warm"

"I won't hurt you, you know"

she lookes at the burn mark then back at him with a raised eyebrow

Kai sighed "I won't hurt you now"

she slowly moved over to the fire sitting down looking at the fire
