Kai looked down at her halo "hmm"

"leave it alone please i need that to survive " she pleaded

"then why is it on the ground?" he says as he bent down to look at it closely

"please just leave it ,it has no value to you " she kept pleading

"maybe not for me but to others yes" he said looking up at her

"no!, please i beg you leave it alone" she pleaded still looking for a way down.

Kai smirked and chuckled

she started to frantically look around for a way down

"jump down and i will catch you"

she looked down at him but stepped back sitting down on yhe branch shaking her head no

she lightly moved her hand over the burn mark going from her right upper arm to the side of her neck before wrapping her wings around her silently whimpering

"trust me just this once angel" he said hold his arms out

she looks down at him still whimpering before moving her wings behind her back and standing up

"c'mon on angel" He says

she whimpered, closing her eyes as she stepped off

Kai sees her fall and he catches her

she stayed in a curled up position waiting for impact as tears still ran down her face

Kai caught her "see? i told you i would catch you"

she looked around before looking up at the tree then the ground then at him "you...... you.... were telling..... the.... truth " she asked shocked/scared

"of course i stick with my promises no matter what they are" He said as he looked into her eyes

she looked away and search for the halo seeing it as she reaches down to try and get it
