Royce grew up with nannies, butlers, and personal chefs. His parents (Alice and Richard), they came from old money. Royce was the result of generations of generations of old money. He grew up with class. Don't brag about your things, but if asked to tell. Have nice things, not flashy. His parents frequently went to parties, socials, dinners, teas, lunches, pretty much things Royce wasn't allowed to go to until he was older. By the time Royce was old enough to really be around his parents he didn't want anything to do with him. He had already found solace of the animals. Horses in the stables, well bred dogs. Royce was also the prize child of the family since he was the only boy, being the youngest child after his three sisters (Mary, Laurie, and Anna). His family still doesn't understand why Royce wants to get a job.

Royce has lunch with his parents once every two weeks, whenever they come into town for lunch with their friends. He mainly sticks with other old money kids, though their friendships aren't real, their just for show. He only really lets down his guard with the people at the animal shelters.

Olivia wasn't a perfect person in the slightest. But in no way did she deserve to die when the light fell from the rafters on the set of her newest horror movie project.

The girl grew up in LA and lived there her entire life, her mother was a struggling actress and her father was an indie film director. For a long time in her life they struggled, not that Olivia ever knew... her and her two older brothers never wanted for anything. Her parents always made sure to hide their struggles as best the could. When Olivia was about nine years old her mother got her first big break as a final girl in a B-horror film. And that was what started the obsession. Her family got wealthier and wealthier... Her brothers went off to college... her parents were always busy. It took Olivia from a sweet middle school student to a moody high school student. Everyone was an idiot, everything around her was boring and don't even get her started on how immature high school boys were. But her general dis-contempt for literally everyone and everything only added fuel to her passion; horror. The girl would practice horror movie makeup every day after school, sneaking out to watch late night showings of old classics and trying to make a name for herself somewhere in this giant town. It wasn't until a favor from her mother that got Olivia her first gig and since then shes been working nonstop in all things creepy and crawly.

Olivia was a hard worker with a stubborn head and a bratty outlook on life. The girl didn't have many friends due to her attitude but that was just fine, people were idiots anyways.

Her only real relationship is with her mother, the woman that started it all. Her brothers and father weren't around much, college and being assholes in general kept them to busy to ever come visit or stay home at all.

Lex is a pretty friendly guy, usually having a cheerful attitude. He had a great up bringing, great parents, great friends, and a great talent for art. He's always the first to lend a hand to someone in need.

Two loving parents (Margaret and Allen) raised Lex. They raised him to do what you love and to be a good person. So, that's how Lex lived. He was always a helpful and friendly person, and he had a love for art since he was little. His talent allowed him to go into tattooing, and it allowed him to build up a pretty good business. His parents had their own coffee shop, and just like them he opened his own business. His tattoo shop was pretty popular, always busy and always booked. Lex had a pretty great life, he had zero complaints. He had just gotten engaged to his girlfriend of three years, Alexa.

Lex lives with his girlfriend in their apartment, she works at a daycare. They have dinner with his parents every other weekend, her parents weekend on the other weekends. He co-owns the tattoo shop with his best friend Mark. Mark and Lex pretty much grew up together, being best friends since kindergarten.​

Shane grew up in the south, Houston to be exact. His entire, large, family were very big on sports, his father was an NFL player in his prime and his mother played college soccer. Both his older brother and younger brother played football their whole lives and his two older sisters played various sports throughout their developing years. Shane tried, he really did. But the pressure was too much and honestly sports bored him to death! It caused strain on his relationship with his parents... they loved him, he was sure, but they didn't know how to bond with their middle son who loved nothing but books. On top of his strange familial relationships, Shane didn't have many friends. The popular athletic kids left him alone because of his last name but the kids with similar interests avoided him for the same reasons... Books were his escape into a world of love and friends. They were the reason he began writing short mystery stories online and the reason that as soon as he graduated he moved north to Portland.

Shane is quiet and more than a little crass. He wasn't mean spirited, his social skills were just lacking.

His only relationships are with his family, who he talks to maybe once a week for a quick check in and to get some money transferred. Beyond that he only really knows his co-workers at the library and his two roommates, Chris and Jenna.
