Fantasy Turn of the Dark Ages

Crom retrieved his vessel and shifted. He returned to the Hydra and Nimiah. "You need to learn another language! We are all at a blades end if we fight so can we all be civil please?" Crom walked to the waters edge and bowed. He backed away a few seconds later. "So how is it that a Hydra the size of you came to be here? There are no oceans or swamps around so how did you manage to move across all the land without drying? I would also suggest leaving the talking of the human up to me.....I am a roman general after all." Crom lets out a laugh and picks the human up then waits for answers to his questions.

Arisuto glanced back at the gryphon as he changed back into his human vessel. Ah, yes, much better. Now she could complain. "Idiotic humans drove me out of my real home. I didn't dry up because of this." She said, morphing into her human vessel and climbing out of the water. She brushed her hair behind her shoulders. "Personally, I do hate this form, but it kept me alive." She sighed.

"I like being able to look you in the face," Nimiah said with a grin, greeting her at the water's edge. "So you've remained hidden like the rest of us. Seems as though we can't get around the humans much anymore without finding ourselves a new pitchfork and torch holiday..." Eyeing Arisuto's human form she shrugged. "At least you've made yourself into a beautiful human, that definitely helps to get things done." She winked. It was true; human men we easily played with feminine curves, a bat of an eyelash and false hope.

Crom shrugged when Arisuto said that she dislikes the vessel she has. "Im fine with mine...after all i am rich." He lets out a silent laugh and sighs. "Speaking of stupid humans i am going to either tear this ones throat out or spare it." Crom holds the human by the throat and throws him to the ground. "No don't kill me!" The human screamed as he woke up. "Nimiah found him spying on us....i think." Crom said as he drew his sword and pointed it at the man.

Rolls over in his sleep, doing his best not to go into a rage, wishing to at least try and give the hydra a chance. Going as far back into his cave as he can while still looking outside he stares up, snake tail hissing weakly. "Damn prophecies and their quests, what I wouldn't give for a rich breakfast or just a feast with some meat, maybe chimera meat for all I care!" Eyes his snake tail for a few seconds, considering self cannibalism.

Crom pressed his boot against the mans throat to hold him down. "Talk now! Actually forget this. Snakewing get down here! ....we need you for an interrogation." Crom kept holding the man down while he waited for assistance as it seemed the girls would not help him. "If you move i will cut your Patella out you damn idiot!" Crom shouted. (If you don't know what a patella is please feel free to ask me or look it up.) He let his boot slide off of the mans throat and onto the ground. "Snakewing get your a## down here!" ((@Corrupted Artorias ))

Groans, slowly walking out of the cave "What do you want? And is there meat involved?" flies down, snake tail silent for once, barely moving. Flexes his claws, looking at the human, not above taking him to his cave for a meal. "Can I eat that?"

Crom looks down at the man. "Please don't let him eat me!" The human begged. "You can eat it if he doesn't explain why he was spying on us." Crom said as he holstered his sword and backed away from the man. "You can get to work if you like....just make sure his head stays intact so we can hear what he says." Crom salutes Snakewing and laughs. "Go ahead surgeon....." He grabs his chest and spits up some blood from his rib being what seemed to be broken. "I think my vessels rib is still broken from that fight earlier...."

Lifted the man by the arm, smiling as he dragged him to a rock, draping one arm over it, grabbing a rock and carefully aiming it. "So, why were you spying on us, human?" Says human as if it was the worst thing one could say, counting to three for an answer, smiling as he brought the rock down on the man's middle finger. "Motherf##### you didn't give me time to answer" grins, repeating the motion "you act as if I care, all I want is meat, and since you were alone and we're far away from where you were lost, we could get rid of you without much worry." Smiles, licking his lips. "So rather die now or be beaten to an inch of your life with a rock then eaten? Choice is yours."

Crom laughed at the threats being thrown around. "Play time is over....seriously please just tell us why you were spying and ill end the pain." He draws his sword and walks over to the human. "So you can either suffer and be eaten alive or you can tell us why you were spying." Crom walks to the other side of the rock facing Snakewing. "So the choice is yours......what will it be.....suffering or freedom?" He lets out a sigh while he waits and walks over to Snakewing. "I really think he would enjoy having the rest of his fingers smashed......don't you?" Crom says to Snakewing in an effort to scare the man into saying certain things or the truth.

Arisuto watched as the gryphon and chimera started to beat up a human. Now, as much as Arisuto despised humans and all their ways, and as much as she wanted to rip a few to shreds, this did not seem right. They didn't even give the man a chance to speak. "Hey," She growled. "Let him talk before you decapitate him, will you?" She found it weird to be jumping to the man's defense, but it felt weird not too. As stiff and stubborn as she was, she didn't like to watch people suffer.. unless she was making them suffer.

Grins, dropping the rock "oh why smash? I have these amazing claws, perfect for shredding through flesh and tearing through bone." Smiles, flexing his claw, snake tail hissing and snapping wildly. "Why? He's most likely going to lie anyways, besides, why do you care? All we're doing is dealing with a spy, thus since you're merely a host for us here and not a part of the team nor in a leadership role, you can't tell us not to treat the spy this way"

Crom holstered his sword and watched as Snakewing started to argue with Arisuto. "Let me ask first.....would you like to do this? If you say no we don't have a choice but to continue and find out what he knows." He let out another laugh as he manipulated the wind to make a dust cloud surround the man. "So can i cut out his kneecaps to stop him from running away?" Crom asked Snakewing as a joke. "That dust is going to tear his eyes out.....I will stop it if you can get him to tell us Hydra."

A low growl rose in Arisuto's throat. "I have a name. It's Arisuto. And I'm not you're leader, I'm saying if you want his trust, you don't smash his fingers. And I am not your host. If you think I am, then you can pack your bags, because you are kicked out of my inn." She snapped, crossing her arms. She then looked at the man. "Tell us what you know so that the idiots over here don't bust your kneecaps." She said in a nonchalant tone, glaring at them both.

Crom burst out laughing. "You just....never mind!" He stops the dust and sits down. "I would gladly leave......but i am bound by a code of honor and respect.....I REFUSE TO BREAK IT!" Crom pushes himself over to the lakes edge and grabs a fish. "Its not as bad as you think....if you grow up with it otherwise you would think it is gross." He let out a sigh as he took a large bite of the fish. "Eh.....it could be better.....has anyone here ever tried rainbow trout?"

Nimiah pulled a throwing knife from her belt, and hit her mark: between the eyes of the man that she had dragged from the woods. If she had known he would have become this big of a deal, she would have just killed him sight seen. Boots pounding against the sandy beach of the lake, she approached the now lifeless body to retrieve her blade and looked to Snakewing.

"Eat him." She said flatly as she cleaned the blade. "He was a pawn, the man knew nothing but that he was told to watch what we did and report it to a more important ear, the enemy whom we already know."

She looked around at the group and up to Scylax, drawing a deep breath. "Now, can you all just calm and listen for once?" She spared another glance to Kyro, as if asking his momentary approval for addressing the group.

"If this prophecy is to come to pass, and it will, we have two options. We can either bicker and wander aimlessly meaning the end of our kinds, or we can work together - all of us- and find our promised land." Nimiah paused for emphasis, "Leine." The name of this land was the material of children's fairy tales and perfect dreams. "It is said that the First Order came together as we have, in a time of great peril and darkness, with little hope for our kind but they came together and fought their way into Leine and earned the right for us all to live there. It was our own greediness and folly that led us back into the land of men.

"We must gather our Order, which we have done, and move on to the second task. Please, listen." Nimiah looked again to Kyro, giving him the floor to address the group and tell them of their next task.

The behemoth glared at the childish behavior of the two males; their efforts to 'interrogate' the man were not going very well, and both seemed to have a tendency of going back to the topic of food. Legs shifting, Scylax moved his horned head with a slight snarl towards the two in a hostile manner to shut them up and listen as Nimiah began to speak.

Humongous skull turning again, the beast gave a blank look to the woman as she began to speak of the prophesy and the simple fact that they all needed to learn to live together without killing one another. If anything, Scylax would be the first to snap up the small form of anything that pissed him off, considering that--for a behemoth--he had an iffy temper that could explode. A grumbling sound slipped from his monstrousity of a head, laying it down onto the sand so he didn't had to crane his neck to stare at them all. Shifting his charcoal brown eyes to the dragon, a large breath that created a strong gust of win blew from his nose harshly.

Shrugs, not really caring much about the prophecy at the moment, quickly tearing the dead man up with his claws, making some smaller bits to feed his snakish tail. Starts to eat, watching the group and listening as he does so, thinking how could so many mythics work together without killing each, yet deciding not to speak since he's been one of the problems and would prefer not being yelled at or answered sarcastically. Sits down after finishing his meal, smiling slightly through bloodied fangs, waiting for something to do.

Crom tossed the fish aside and glared at Nimiah. "It was just getting fun.....anyway if nothings going to happen i would suggest learning my language so im not stuck speaking in this vessel. I would also recommend building a shelter for the upcoming storm......" He points to the sky and walks towards his cave house. "If anyone needs me i will be furnishing my home." Crom opens the door and walks in only to close it a minute later. He begins to decorate his house in a traditional manner. Crom begins to hum a random tune while he works on the decorations.

Kyro sat there in silence observing them. At this point he gave up in sheltering the human. Crom and Snakewing seemed to be out of his command. An irritated line marked his face. His eyes glanced to Scylax admiring the Behemoth and also seeing that he wasn't the only one annoyed by the two. Kyro simply allowed the Hydra through. He did not care much if he was intruding on land, they needed to get onto their quest.

He gave a glance of gratitude to Nimiah when she was able to settle everyone down. His eyes continued to examine them for a minute more.

Kyro held a negative impression already for the Gryphon. For one who is of an intelligent species, he sure is not living it up to the name.

Kyro walked over to stand by the shore of the lake to get a better view of the ragtag team. He gave an inward sigh and began naming positions and pointing at the members, "Scylax you shall be the defender. Nimiah you shall be the tracker as well as keeping along with information. Snakewing...you can be a fighter. Crom...well...I wish to assign you as the strategic coordinator of this mission but...I don't see the initiative from you showing me your capability...I will have to figure out something for you." Kyro then turned his eyes to the two last mythicals, "And Adare...well you must be gifted in healing. So you can be the healer as well as a good luck charm. We'll need all the luck we can get." He paused then continued looking at the Hydra, "And if you would like you can come along with us. We can use all the help we can receive." Kyro felt anxious for their responses, hoping he made some good decisions.

Crom laughed at the comment directed at him and took his helmet off. "You do not seem to understand my methods.......I am not someone who will do something until i deem it necessary. Anyway i suggest that we stay on high alert.....until we know for sure that this location is safe then we can start digging in and reinforce our location against outside threats." He stops working and walks over to Kyro. "Im sorry if i appear to be either annoying or down right mental.....but i cant control my nature...can you forgive me?"

Watches them, considering asking for forgiveness, yet unsure if his words wiould be heard, or his actions forgiven. Stands up, thinking as he walked away towards the mountain his little cave belongs to, arguing with himself all the way there, quite unsure of himself and if he ruined his chances to be liked in the group. Hums as he climbs up to his cave, deciding that if anyone truly needed him, they would call or come to him.

Arisuto glanced back at the dragon. For a moment, she actually considered his offer, wondering what it would be like to travel with others like her once again. "I'll consider." She snapped, indenturing to her hydra form and walking back into the lake. She manipulated some of the water and made it rise into the air, a cloud made out of pure water. She smirked.

Kyro turned his attention to the approaching Gryphon. "Only time will tell. And for a lookout we shall take turns for the night. I was not planning on staying here. Staying in one location with many mythicals is rather risky. We shall head out once more. But before dawn breaks. That should be a time when humans are not as active," Kyro informed. He turned away from the Gryphon and looked at the Hydra and just bowed slightly.

His wings shuffled as he walked over to the cave then where he placed his vessel. He felt comfortable in his true form but he knew for safety precautions he will need his vessel for the night when on lookout, just in case any wandering humans pass by.

The behemoth had settled down, living up to the largest trait one of his kind had: their laziness. Of course this trait only came out when unprovoked, and right now things seemed to start to smooth over. Scylax watched the hydra, who he still towered over, go back into her watery home, knowing not to disturb her in order to keep the calm that seemed to return. Lifting his monstrous skull from the sandy beach, Scylax looked to the mountain that was a bit away, large enough to look out easily through a valley. Gaping his mouth open, the black hole that could swallow up seemingly anything from the sheer size.

A flick of his tail, and Scylax shifted, legs pushing into the ground, sand burrowing up around his stomach and neck as he partially buried himself. The beast soon went on to hide his whole muscled, Rocky neck into the ground, forcing his head down as well until just the tip of his nose that looked like a stone was sticking out, the rest of his head gone. With his legs hidden as well, and just his back jutting from the ground, the behemoth looked like a simple slab of mountainous rock that wasn't suitable for greenery to grow on.

He did not react to the animals that trotted over his tail, or the birds that took it upon themselves to perch on his back, some even pecking at the cracks between his stoney back to take away what they wanted. He was used to these things, but could easily tell what was climbing onto him; typically Scylax didn't react to these things, even used to having stubborn animals stay on his back when he resurfaced from the ground to find a new resting place.
